I bought this the last time around. It does not track well on glossy and smooth surfaces.

12 months and batteries are still on. Recommended!

Scroll wheel "clicks." It is more of a soft click while rolling the wheel. Nice feel. The wheel also clicks down and to both sides. Good feature.

I've been PM'ing twice a day doing the online and store feature. I add the url to the silver one on Best Buy's site when filling in the online section for the PM form. I also fill in the price match part on the page for the black one Amazon's site since it's still being sold directly by them. The blue one isn't. Hope some of that made sense. :insane:

The M525 is optical and the 510 is laser. Just so people know. I'm still not sure what the big difference is between the two though.

The big difference is size. The M510 is a full size mouse and is bigger than the "portable" M525

Not sure why everyone seems so excited about this.

It was this price at BB in December which Amazon PMed last time also, IIRC.

It was also $13 at Staples which is where I bought it and returned the BB one (and which got a lot less press than this thread, I might add).

This is a good price, but not really one to get so excited about, IMO.

To be fair, that $13 deal was posted the day after Christmas, was OOS online, and lasted maybe 15 hours.

I have one I use at work with Eneloop batteries, I have to recharge them roughly every 5mo, I really love this mouse.

The Logitech mouse I bought from Amazon not even 2 weeks ago broke tonight. The left side button just quit working. I am not a happy camper and hate having to contact places when things break like this....

In the time it took you to post this message, you could have gotten Logitech to send you another. Or Amazon.

Both are good, got a bunch when they were free with coupon at Stpales, last year.

For your information I sent an e-mail to Logitech before I posted this message and was waiting to contact Amazon till this morning when I've actually gotten people who don't seem like they are in a foreign country when calling.

Why do you seem like your against someone posting that they are having an issue with something to warn others?

It's not just my mouse that's doing this there are reviews on Best Buy and Amazon's site about the left button issue. I didn't see them before I purchased mine.

I apologize if that's the way I came across. My intent was to merely inform you have recourses.
