I was thinking of using this outside so bugs don't get in recessed housing.

Also thinking of putting in kitchen to replace CFL bulbs that take forever to warm up bright. Anybody buy these yet?

Bought one. It installed easily. Super bright white light. Looks great. I'll probably head out and buy some more. I may also need to buy a dimmable switch as these are very bright.

Picked up 2 yesterday. Easy to install. They look great. Added a lutron dimmer to bring them down some. My Costco had 300 in stock.

Just installed mine. Very high lumen output. The color reproduction is excellent too. Reasonably priced at Costco for ~$25.

Any location in CA that carries these? my local stores seem to be out of them.

Call around. When I purchased mine, my store had about 300 units in stock. They could also tell you if they are expecting more.

Yeah I did call in NorCal and they are out.... might have to get someone to buy at another store and have it shipped..
