I had an error but went and tried again - logged into RZ and no problem - got my 25 points!

Yeah, its being glitchy now, it goes through sometimes but sometimes it doesn't, weird.

I guess the party is over :(, Not working for me either.

They may be tightening the security, but who knows. But I was able to get in consistently using Firefox:
Basically, when I logged in, I would get "red facebook error message". I just hit the back button once and it loaded the login for RZ.

I hate when these things go all glitchy because it ****s up my whole routine of doing the poll.

I normally do it every night around 11:30 when I get home from work, then 24 hrs have usually passed by the time the next days poll is up.

Now it's all jacked up and It'll probably end up working for me mid afternoon tomorrow and then if I try to do the new poll tomorrow night, "0" points...

This same error happened to me around the first week of polls, it will eventually fix itself in a few hours.

It's been very odd today. I shopped there and it hasn't even shown up (as points pending) in my accout yet. Or showed that I shopped there.

And the FB poll kept giving me an error until just now.

Yeah weird. I had 218 earlier today, took the polls tonight for 268. After I took the second poll, I went back and it said 243. I went to the rewardzone website and checked there, and it says 218, but shows I took both polls successfully. Either way, I received an email for my $5 certificate, so it appears to have worked, somewhere. . .

And for the past hour, it gives me error on Facebook.

Guess some noobish web app programmers messed up their codes.

interesting, history is back up. main site also says now you can redeem rewards just by asking the cashier to apply them, instead of paper certs or from mobile.

Where do find it on the Best Buy page?

When I was at BB a few weeks ago, the cashier told the guy ahead of me that he had $15 in RZ points and could use them towards his purchase if he wanted. He asked what RZ was and then declined. :lol:

used the link in the op, allowed the best buy apps on my fb, viewed by me only (hopefully that wont be a problem), took the poll (chose s3), and got 25 pts added. thanks!

I can verify that this goes back to around the ipad mini launch time frame and when I went to buy black ops 2 video game they told me I had so many points that I could redeem for cash credit, welcomed update IMO, of course New Orleans could have simply been early on the rollout or one of a number of test markets or something if this hasn't been the case for others as of late. They're obviously still working on it though because one thing irked me, I was there at 1 am so it was a very lax environment and I was the last customer and the guy had to walk from the register to the cell phone area to utilize their computers to get my rewards for some reason and he told me if I wanted to buy a pack of gum or a drink 1st that it would give me enough for another credit, I was literally 1 point short, so we did that and he's looking :confused: and says look I'm sorry It's not applying your rewards right away they told us it was near immediate now but it's not updating, anyway I didn't sweat it but just thought I'd share that experience.

This is odd. I just started taking these after the Superbowl, I did that one once and the last two twice. On Facebook the points never went up until the last one I just took, kept saying 0 points ans underneath that saying I had $10 in rewards available, those were from purchases back in December. Anyway they do show up in the rewardzone site but even there it says 0 points but in history it shows all the 25 points added. And then after the last one now it says I have 16 points.

This is the first time I haven't received points and I was just 15 away from another $5.
I wonder if it has to do with me doing it through my iPad's Chrome browser instead of my PC.

Getting 0 on this point probably has something to do with this:

Between 2/3 and 2/23, new transactions will take longer to appear in your account. This is part of year-end account and system maintenance. During this time, you may still issue certificates if you have enough points available. No new transactions and/or points will be reflected in your account until after 2/23.

i was wondering though, i used the same computer to log on/off different facebook accounts to do the same daily polls. i did my poll and then girlfriend's poll. maybe best buy somehow recognizes its from the same computer and takes the points away??? because they think im cheating?

The facebook screen always says i got 0 points.
When I log into my rewardzone page though it shows the points in my transaction list.

For everyone who sees points being removed, may i please know if you guys were using fake accounts or real ones?

you guys are screwed. im smarter and i issued my certificate yesterday when i smelled something fishy about best buy. either way, 25 free bucks is good. thanks best buy and hope to do business with you similar to this deal again.

Wow 14 points away from 250 and the points from the poll today havent applied. I did it this morning and it shows on the list but not on my main total so i cant issue the $5

Just checked my RZ account activity, last year they voided my 99 pts on 2/3 as annual adjustment. This year so far pts not adjusted, playing poll for a while. I would suggest to get the certificate as soon it reaches 250. Or we can write them at least pts earned during last week shouldn't be adjusted as if someone make a purchase of less than 250, 1st week of feb, according to their policy it will never be rewarded wd points

Dammit, I was supposed to qualify for a rewards certificate today, guess im not getting it.

Same here, got up to 250 today, but it's just sitting in the account not updating the amount on the reward zone website. Funnily enough when doing the polls it does show the 250 points after I hit the submit button :/

Had points 132 points taken away randomly.........just called Best Buy and was credited back 250 RZ points. My "expired" points were not from purchases last year as I didn't buy anything from Best Buy last year. All points I have are from these FB polls. If anyone had points taken away unjustifiably, call Best Buy and tell them you want the points back.

Can reward zone points be used to buy BB gift cards? I think I'll just cash out to avoid any hassles.

i did live chat with customer service. the CSR said the daily poll was not legitimate and not part of best buy's reward zone program. needless to say, that got me no where. what phone number did you call?

Aw man. I lost all my points too and just saw your post and tried calling, but they just closed.

I called the customer service line (1-888-237-8289). Say "Reward Zone" then speak with operator to get a live person.

Personally, if the CSR would have told me the daily poll was not legitimate and not part of BB's RZ program I would have asked if the $5 RZ gift certificates I've earned from these polls have a lesser value than $5 RZ gift certificates I could've earned from an in-store or online purchase.....after their acknowledgement they are they same then I'd ask for my points back.

So last night my points disappeared and then I did the poll and had a total of 25 points. Then a few hours later my original 235 points came back but the 25 points from the poll were gone. I just called using the number above and the guy was super nice when I told him I was missing 25 points, the 235 annual thing was wrong since my points were earned in the last 2 weeks, and about the points randomly coming back minus the 25 and he said he would do a one time adjustment for me of 350 points just to give me a little extra.

thanks! i just got off the phone with best buy. the CSR argued with me a little, but ended up crediting me 375 points! i was only missing 125. he said its a one time adjustment and gave me extra! it hasnt shown on the account just yet though

Maybe he felt guilty for arguing with you so he gave you more while my guy was super nice about it so he didn't feel the need to give me the extra 25.

Since the new points didn't get added yet, I wonder what would happened if I do today's poll. Do the extra points he gave me stack or is it a straight replacement?
