I was looking for an inexpensive option for some employee uniforms for my small retail store and came across this promotion.

http://www.queensboro.com/sd132

It's $0.99 for a sample with their logo

A great sample. By the way, practically all promotional product companies offer free samples. I'm sure you can clothe your whole family that way as well as stock up on office supplies.

tennis8363 02-06-2013 10:48 AM

Sure, why not. In for the $.99 polo shipped.

johnnyma45 02-06-2013 11:06 AM

I wonder if you can play mind games with Best Buy employees if you wear that and walk into a store into the back. "What? These are our new uniforms."

I also wonder, would they call BS if we attached a trademarked logo, say Dodge or Detroit Lions, in an attempt to get a knockoff "Official" polo at a discounted price?

deedz2 02-06-2013 11:07 AM

This is a repost, on a good deal though.

NVM....it is a little bit different than their last offer...both are good deals!

They don't offer small so I bought a 2 x to donate, thx OP!

syuzhet 02-06-2013 11:08 AM

It's a little polo shirt on a big polo shirt.

Whoa, am I in Inception?!?

ppt 02-06-2013 11:10 AM

boosterjm 02-06-2013 11:12 AM

What does this logo mean, isn't 0.99 cents t-shirt a great deal?

It is their company logo....they make, sell shirts. For 99 cents, yes it is a great deal! :)

Coejus 02-06-2013 11:20 AM

Wasn't this cancelled last time? At least I mine did.

HempCures 02-06-2013 11:23 AM

"Your New Customer Order Qualifies for Free Shipping & 25% Off Any Additional Embroidered and Digitally Printed Items. Offer valid for new customers first purchase only on additional embroidered and digitally printed items with a max $100 discount. Your Company logo upload is still required with this $0.99 Polo Queensboro Logo Polo to validate your eligibility for this offer."

Anyone else see this in the "View your Cart" Section?

yateswp 02-06-2013 11:24 AM

I submitted a logo on their previous deal and it arrived as expected after ample time. Did appreciate the embroidery for .99 cents. I'll pass on this deal. Their polos are soft and seem nice, but I don't need more clothing in my life unless they're offering embroidery.

imgamekc 02-06-2013 11:26 AM

In for one.. sent along a logo.. what they heck 8 bucks total worth the investment

ph7 02-06-2013 11:28 AM

My polo with "Playboy Enterprises - Talent Coordinator" logo with bunny should arrive in 2-3 weeks.

I got one, I think it was free too. They used a logo I uploaded.

BUT don't give your real # number. They called several times and left messages on my VM how I like it etc... No biggie, but could have easily been avoided.

pay with amazon is available.. is it genuine?

cnbcook 02-06-2013 12:06 PM

This is a legitimate company. I have been ordering from them for a few years. The sample I received years ago was not very good quality but the logo (mine) turned out very nice so I ordered a higher quality shirt thru them and was very impressed. If you decide to change logos you need to open a new account or pay a fee for setup though.

Yes you could, you could also get into serious legal trouble for trespassing and falsifying credentials. Like the kid going to jail for a long time who posed as a DR. :lmao:

This is an embroidery company offering low-cost samples at a loss to "customers" looking to purchase in bulk for sports or businesses.

Ordering a polo for 99 cents and providing a false phone number just to take advantage of a legit business is the act of a hobo. :lmao:

did you use a magnifying glass to see if there's another smaller polo shirt on the little one?

OP - you could save a ton of money if you change your company's logo so it's the same as this 99c shirt place, and get all your employees to order their own @ 99c ea.!

Shocker! J/K.....not too supprising since this is a legit company looking for folks to order shirts w/a logo so they can make money.

J03 02-06-2013 12:32 PM

Almost jumped on this but no way am I going to chat with a company sales rep about my fake business just to get a 99 cent shirt.

anh-nguyen.com 02-06-2013 12:36 PM

...got one awhile back for $0.99 with my own logo and free shipping..good quality polo but logo size is small..

not sure why I would want a polo with a stupid shirt logo on it...

Hold back on the the name calling o holy one.

They offered a product, I accepted.

I didn't provide a false number, but since I wouldn't buy another, I'd actually would have saved them time had I given them a false number.

I suspect few here are buying them for their business....

Giving a false number will save this company a lot of time calling back for nothing.

You can only be in trouble for trespassing if there is a "no trespassing" sign posted, or if you have ALREADY been warned that you are not welcome. i.e. your first trip is just a warning.

Falsifying credentials is if it is something like the police, FBI, etc...

The only thing something like Best Buy could do is get you for using their trademarked logo.

WMP9 02-06-2013 12:41 PM

I actually ordered a sample with my logo a few months ago for my business for around $8 and they made me scan my business card to prove that I had a legit business. Not sure if that was just my order, or they do that for all samples, but just an FYI

danteshors 02-06-2013 12:43 PM

I had a great experience with them during the past 99 cent custom shirt. They only called to make sure that the logo got approved so they could build the shirt. I am very happy with this company and the shirt. They can't afford to build thousands of these for people that give out fake information or have no real intention of evaluating their service.

So all the other company's SD has screwed over and or taken advantage of were illegitimate. Makes sense right>? Ive ordered 1000+ items online and haven't been contacted. The fabric they use for this polo is way too lightweight for me to ever consider ordering in bulk. I got one during the last promo they had and it feels like a heavy t-shirt (Hanes Beefy T is a good comparison). It's a great spare shirt for 99 cents though.

wow you have been watching too much tv, or live in a far more criminal friendly state than NY, here there is no such rule. You absolutely will be arrested and prosecuted if you walked into the backroom of a best-buy or any other business with no right or privilege to be there. You most certainly don't get a warning the first time.

That's strange. Mine stayed at 99 cents. And I don't know what everyone is talking about uploading their logo---I think mine is coming with a predetermined logo. It's just a spare shirt, so I don't mind.

I never whined about ethics. Everyone seemed to think that this company was offering a 99 cent polo to anyone and everyone, which normally would be a slick deal.

Instead, this company was offering a 99 cent "sample" to those legitimately interested in embroidering polos for their businesses or sports teams.

As long as you yourself are okay with ripping off a small business, I will not judge you, carry on!! :D

The chick in this thread seemed bothered by this company calling her regarding their polo, without any understanding that what she ordered was in fact a "sample". I personally would not participate in this deal because I would feel like a bum.

Sorry if that came off "tsk tsking" people. I try not to judge. I haven't yet since I only got this one in a few days go but I am planning on doing so. The site has already sent me a 45 off 90 deal so it would be hard to "pay full retail price" with these guys since they have so many deal.

The one thing that kind of is negative for me is that they send out these "One day deals" and with big orders it takes more than 24 hours to get s teams sizes and approvals and such.

The will not do embriodery in 99 cents. For 99 cents you get a shirt with their standard logo. You have to pay extra to do your own logo/embriodery.

Ok, found it.

desertdish 02-14-2013 08:55 PM

I ordered a shirt from the last round of promos... think I paid $2.95. The logo came out fantastic! I emailed them a link to the company's website where they were able to download the logo for me. The shirt seemed pretty large for the size ordered, but it actually shrank to fit perfectly. I'm not completely sold on the quality of the shirt. It seems soft and less stiff than other polo-type shirts we've used in the past. I need to wash it a couple of times and see how it holds up. I was very impressed with their quality of service, but quickly tired of the massive spam email they send out...

mutha_scratcha 02-20-2013 07:48 AM

They kept sending me messages, so I finally wrote them and told them I am not calling in for their bait and switch. They then called me and left some message about needing a logo. I made a crappy one in MS Paint and uploaded.
Your move Queensboro.

tennis8363 03-06-2013 09:57 AM

Wow... I finally called them today and uploaded the logo. She said it was for a wrong account. Their CS rep was having a bad day, not friendly at all.
