Thanks for setting off my 9mm alert, Terd Ferguson. -.-
Never even heard of hyundai tablets

one80oneday 02-06-2013 05:30 PM

What kind of MPG does it get?

nspur24 02-06-2013 05:34 PM

Would it be safe to compare this to an Accent? It certainly doesn't seem like a Genesis or Equus.

chunli 02-06-2013 05:37 PM

hyundai excel. all hyundai does is make knockoffs. pretty this is a knockoff too

Anti_slick 02-06-2013 05:39 PM

Lolol, are you serious?
It's obviously not a Note 2, nor is it listed or branded as Samsung

Cheap phones/tablets does not = scam.

Im pretty sure pandawill.com is legit, its just out of china. That is a low low quality note 2 copy. Look at the screen resolution on it 5" and 320 x 240 pixels. They sell much nicer copies too but they arent nearly as powerful as the originals yet. Its always a gamble though buying from china sites, ive heard good and bad things but if you have a problem your pretty much SOL.

rahul4567 02-06-2013 05:44 PM

I would never order from pandawill .. Had experience one of the worst customer service and wrong product sent.

nspur24 02-06-2013 05:47 PM

There are some crazy brands on that site. At least the Note II is unbranded!

Anti_slick 02-06-2013 05:47 PM

Well after a research for 5 minutes on some reseller site and pointed out this site is pretty much suck :( most people say they never receive stuff, however there are still some people rated this site. My conclusion is this site not good for buying :( I'm not gonna buy anything even though they are cheap :(

I have bought from Pandawill 3 times and they have been very good. But I always pay for DHL and get it within 3-4 days.

sablenbagles 02-06-2013 08:35 PM

Definitely worth $20 more for a refurb Nexus 7 from ebay right now.

Smeech 02-06-2013 08:39 PM

For those who follow benchmarks; 14,322 on Antutu...very promising.

While this seems like a nice tablet for the price, it has Android 4.04....and this tablet just came out...really? Should be at least 4.1 if it's released in 2013.

Hyundai used to be one of those typical asian conglomerates, that produced everything from cars to ship, electronics, memory chips, industrial equipments and pretty much everything in between. But the founder of Hyundai, Jung Ju Young was well known for his famous womanizing and had multiple childs out of wedlocks. so naturally, those about 8 half brothers did not get along each other that well and often they fought each others for stakes in Hyundai.

so the company was pretty much sliced and served to each sons. some did great, such as Hyundai Automobile which are doing very well, but some didn't do it well. One of em was Hyundai Electronics. it used to produce computers, monitors, memory chips and other electonics, but it bankrupted and the Hyundai Electronic itself got divided by small pieces. One of small offspring from that Hyundai was Hyundai Monitor Division, and it is the company that license the name "Hyundai" to chinese tablet makers ...because Hyundai was fairly well known in china and russia since 90's so that the name provides some brand recognition. .

so here's my brief history lecture of Hyundai. in sum, yes this tablet got legit license from "hyundai", but designed and produced by chinese tablet makers. no, this tablet or hyundai monitor division company that licensed the name is nothing to do with that famous Hyundai automobile company. it share the name that can be traced to the founder, but they are now totally separate companies. fyi.

A friend of mine works on an oil tanker ship the size of the town I live in. He drives a car the size of one of my shoes. Both are made by Hyundai. We always have a laugh about that.

Hyundai is actually a large conglomerate, much like Samsung.

"By the mid-1990s Hyundai comprised over 60 subsidiary companies and was active in a diverse range of activities including automobile manufacturing, construction, chemicals, electronics, financial services, heavy industry and shipbuilding."

with nexus 7 refurb selling $170 and new for $200, its definitely worth paying few extra bucks and buy a nexus instead of this china brand.
Not only you get one of highest rated tablet but also you will be the first to get the future android updates.

xWarMECHx 02-06-2013 10:54 PM

Don't buy products manufactured from this crap company.

On the last Hyundai tablet I bought (A7) the micro-USB port eventually fell into the tablet due to piss poor soldering.

Also their idiot engineers decided to route the WiFi antenna over the speaker, causing the sound to crackle from the interference if the WiFi and speakers were active at the same time.

May not be the exact product, but I'm sure the QA is the exact same.

Ehlacore 02-07-2013 05:33 AM

I once ordered a Hyundai from China ("FocalPrice") it came missing the power cord. Looked decent enough for a "cheap tablet" but clearly a knock off and not the Hyundai brand that makes cars!

(oh yea, it took like 8 weeks to get the tablet, we returned, never got a refund)

vfrjim 03-23-2013 07:47 AM

I ended up ordering this Hyundai Tablet ( T7 ) from pandawill and so far, this is a fantastic tablet. It absolutely blows away my Samsung Tab 2 7.0 ! Also, firmware has been updated twice since I got it. just for info, rooting this tab is a snap since the processor has an exploit, it literally took me 3 seconds to do!
