These are not the same thing, one is the Microsoft brand. The MS brand is more expensive but usually 3rd party brands don't work with older xbox (pre-360) games.

I bought my 3rd party 320GB from amazon [amazon.com] for $50 incl shipping, so this price is about right. Personally I dont think spending double for the MS brand is worth it.

while not an official one. its basically a roll your own and some company is selling it. You can get certain Western Digital BEV-Series (120,250,320) Drives.. re-flash them and use them in your 360. Ive done it for multiple people on slim and non-slim 360s.. worked for years and no issues. You just cant call in for a warranty on it.. Like anyone ever does that anymore. Its good for the LAZY.
