LINK [frys.com]

Item Price: $10.00
$10 Mail-In Rebate [frys.com]
AR Cost: FREE

***You must choose only 1 color per the rebate terms***

Shipping is $5.99 or FREE In-Store Pick-Up.

NOTE: The rebate MUST BE POSTMARKED by February 22, 2013. You should be okay to order this online, as long as Fry's delivers within within 2 weeks.

Also, other SDers have reported issues with Hornettek Rebates (ask Superocean for his experience). I personally didn't have any issues with the couple I have tried.

A white case looks good with a white iPad right? lol

On the rebate form, they ask for:
"Required material:
2. The ORIGINAL rebate receipt"
What is it?

That's something that you get if you pick up the case in-store.

If you order online, a copy of the "Proof of Purchase" from your online account or a copy of the actual "Order Invoice" that arrives in the box should suffice.

Isn't that what they ask for in #1? Or do I make a photocopy of the receipt for #1 and also send that same receipt for #2?
I dont recall ever sending both an original receipt and its copy for any rebates.

Wonder if they are still in business after 18 weeks :-P

Fine print on rebate form states one rebate per household. Wonder if you get all colors and put it on one form if that is one rebate or is it a maximum of $10 or maximum of $50. Anyone have any idea? The Tiger Direct rebates are much clearer.

These were on sale (FAR ) at last week of December. Quality is not good (even though it says 49.99). iPad doesn't fit properly in this unless you squeeze. IMO, if someone is looking for additional case this is ok but if you want it as primary then buying on amazon or ebay for 7-8 bucks could be worth.

Well, that's good to know. I'm a little hesitant to drive 14 miles to my Fry's if I'm getting a cheap quality iPad cover. Plus, they gave me silver instead of white. For anyone who ordered with store pick-up, you can wait until the deadline (for most of us, it should be 2/11/13) to pick it up and then Fry's will automatically take the order off and refund your purchase amount to your card.

In my experience, Frys.com never charges your credit card for in store pick up. I was told by checkout cashiers that CC info is only for reservation of the item, and they always ask me to swipe my card when pick up.

They will be in business. They have been in business for several years. They are basically nothing more than a brand-name for cheap Chinese electronics (aka Meritline-type stuff).

No, you can only get 1 per household (maximum $10 payout), as I indicated in the OP. They have had this rebate a few times now, so I'm sure you can get a couple of other colors in the future on another rebate offer, if you so desire.

Obviously the $49.99 "original price" is a joke. Who the hell would pay that for iPad case unless you're buying an Otterbox?

This is basically a cheaply made $5 or $10 case that is an okay back-up, or just a basic case to provide protection from scratches, etc.
