and why is it so cheap ?

Could it be the color ?, just a kind-hearted seller ? oh......it's Refurbished (which should be clearly in the title).

You stating important information that should be in the title regardless...doesn't make me happy.
You sending me one for free...that would make me happy.

You should read the other thread first before jumping in hot headed.

This isn't a clue game.

If a product is refurbished...it should clearly be listed in the title as such. Not too sure what your debating here, Selma Jr.

Corwin76 02-08-2013 02:09 PM

Good deal, if I didn't already have a hammer-drill I'd give one of these a shot.

Missed out last time. This is a great deal or a great tool? I have used a friends a couple of times.

audiokingman 02-08-2013 02:14 PM

I agree about refurbished should be in the title.

I also agree this is a good deal...so thanks OP.

aceshigh73 02-08-2013 02:28 PM

Good tool. Great deal. Depends on your use. Unless you often need to attach fasteners in masonry or need a drill with more power, most people would be better off with your typical 12-18v cordless drill for homeowner use however.

fitzejunk 02-08-2013 02:32 PM

I agree that refurb should be in the title...wait, OP already fixed it.

Great deal, was ticked for a week that I missed it last time. I've borrowed my neighbors far more than is remotely polite. Tx OP! TU and repped!

jacksson 02-08-2013 02:40 PM

Another tool purchased that I could have borrowed thanks to SD!

oaksw12 02-08-2013 02:46 PM

Looks dead unfortunately - they sold half of the 75 in about a 5 minute window :(.

jbanks 02-08-2013 02:46 PM

DEAD....sniff

txlonghorn2010 02-08-2013 02:48 PM

1 minute too late. :(...

jamesjr55 02-08-2013 03:00 PM

Looks like I got one!! Glad I didn't wait a second longer or I would have missed it!

NorthPolePrince 02-08-2013 06:57 PM

Thanks! In for one. Getting my first house and it needs a good bit of work... this will help me out a lot.

juzt1 02-13-2013 04:01 PM

Got my 2 today.. strange, one seems to only work in high gear and the other seems to work in both but 1 being fairly slow and 2 being not near as fast the the one that only has high gear. Lol

I'm not 100% sure what you're saying here, but I think that's the point of the high/low gearing...

Oh wait, you got 2.. Well if they don't work identically then one is clearly defective. Time for a return I suppose :P

Got my order of one today (yeah, believe it or not I'm not a hoarder / re-seller of deals)!

Overall I am happy with the purchase. It shows obvious signs of usage, but hey it's a refurb'ed tool (and nothing outrageous).....

My only complaint would be that the "depth rod, AKA drill stop" is made out of plastic?!?

I mean damn, you're supposed to pretty much have all of your body weight layed into this thing and it's made out of plastic??

I suppose that could be the reason for so many refurbs on this item??

Either way, for the cost I'm quite happy. In all honesty I may use this thing 5x a year LOL

Thanks OP and SD for feeding my tool addiction........
