I didn't think it was possible for somebody to have 693 posts and only 66 reps. Know we see it is possible and we also see why it happened - in the span of only 2 posts by our new visiting friend. :shake:

armywifeandtwo 02-14-2013 11:39 AM

Because that poster is really starting to irk me, lets talk about this deal :)

$3 ECB wyb (2) Maxwell House Instant coffee 8 oz, Gevalia Kafe 12 oz or Nescafe Clasica 7 oz 2/$12 Limit 1
$2/1 Nescafe 7 oz + HERE [walmart.com](WM)
$1.50/1 Gevalia HERE [facebook.com](FB)

So..... Buy 2 Nescafe Clasica 2/$12
Use 2 - $2/1 from WM (redeem anywhere)

Makes them $2.50 ea.

OR the Gevalia - same, just use 2 - $1.50/1 and pay $3.50 ea. Not bad.. IMO. Some of us still use instant these days (LOL) so this is a great deal if you want Nescafe.

Thanks (and reps) for the link.

One note of caution to everybody that wants to do the deal - this is going to be a tough rebate to get a great return on. The instructions seem to me to read that all of your items must be bought on 1 receipt. The wording on this MIR form only uses the term "receipt", while in looking at the 4 P&G rebates that I submitted last year the instructions all explicitly use the term "receipt(s)".

I have been doing P&G rebates for years and they have always allowed multiple receipts in the past.

As I pointed out in another weekly thread, the rebate form also uses the word "product" and "product price" singular as if we are supposed to be buying ONE item more than $50 which doesn't make any sense either.

There have been other rebates that say receipt, but allow multiple receipts. Pfizer is a good example. I have found that if a company really expects all purchases on one receipt, they usually specify that, like the current L'Oreal rebate.

armywifeandtwo 02-15-2013 07:25 PM

I am just going to say be careful with the P&G. It seems like this time around they are more picky... my last one got rejected, and all I did was buy herbal essence, did everything as noted, etc etc. It was no diff than any other rebate I have done. I sent the ONE recipe last time, and they tossed it out.

I'd say they are getting more picky; I know I have around 5-6 that I know that have had theirs rejected too, odd to me.

Above that they do specify "products" in the instructions.

Not to be confrontational, but it doesn't seem to be useful to look at what other companies have done with rebates in the past when we have numerous and recent examples of what P&G, themselves, has done in the past. I went back and looked at all 7 MIR forms from P&G that I submitted last year (including ones for Covergirl and Olay) and all of the instructions specifically used the wording "receipt(s)". I also think that it's instructive to note that this new instruction form requires that the actual UPCs from the packages be sent in with the filled-in form - not just a listing of the UPCs on the form. Once again, this is an entirely different requirement than what P&G was implementing in 2012.

Clearly, P&G has decided to make some changes in their rebate practices for 2013. That being said, it may just be a low-level mistake that they won't stand by when pressed. I think it would be useful to have people call in and try to get them to clarify what they want for this rebate. Besides the mutliple receipt question, it would be informative to ask how we're supposed to send in the actual UPCs from the products when some of the UPC are only printed on the actual containers and there's no box (as is the case with the Pantene, Herbal Essences, H&S, etc.)

There aren't size restrictions on those two.

If you read it, every 'size' is separated by a comma.

M&M's Brand Chocolate Candies (2 oz. or larger),
M&M's Brand MINIS Chocolate Candies (2 oz. or larger),
MINIS Mix Variety Bags (10.5 oz. and larger),
3 MUSKETEERS Brand Minis,

I looked for the two Snickers Bunnies in some stores yesterday, but didn't see anything. I'm thinking those are relatively large items and not single serve like the Snickers Eggs are. That could be why there's no size listed. I do notice that the single serve Eggs are listed in a 6 pack, so I'd be surprised if there any single serve items listed individually.

they have them in my store, i had to get one for my 3 year old yesterday. they are $.89 ea. My store has a whole 3 Rows of easter. If you're wondering if they make them the ad scan is a great reference, like gardengal initially mentioned.

But the picture is of single-serve Snickers eggs, not bunnies. The only single-serve bunnies are the Milky Way ones, and only the 6-pack for those is listed on the coupon.

If you read the writing under the picture of the single serve eggs it says or bunnies.

It says Mars egg or bunny...but the Snickers one is an egg, and the Milky Way one is a bunny. All I'm saying is that you're not going to be able to find a cheap single-serve Snickers bunny in the store, since it doesn't exist...the single-serve bunny only exists as a Milky Way, and the $1/2 MQ says Snickers bunny, not Snickers egg or Milky Way bunny...does that make sense?

awat, I wasn't specifically targeting you, I know you didn't post the deal originally either...was just trying to point out that the ad doesn't prove the existence of single-serve Snickers bunnies.

The printable Q thread lists a thermacare Q as

Thermacare, any except trial size $3/1, Print [thermacare.com]register

I'm not sure but I think this Q was for 2cts and larger pack last time I printed. Am I right? Don't want to waste a print if I can not use it next week.

It says "Except Trial Size". I guess the 1 count is a trial size cause thats the lowest they could come in.

Yes the 1 ct normally has "trial size" printed right on the box - either across the top or goes diagonally at one of the corners.

$3 ECB wyb (2) Maxwell House Instant coffee 8 oz, Gevalia Kafe 12 oz or Nescafe Clasica 7 oz 2/$12 Limit 1
$2/1 Nescafe 7 oz + HERE [walmart.com](WM)
$1.50/1 Gevalia HERE [facebook.com](FB)

So..... Buy 2 Nescafe Clasica 2/$12
Use 2 - $2/1 from WM (redeem anywhere)
= $8 | Earn $3
Makes them $2.50 ea.

OR the Gevalia - same, just use 2 - $1.50/1 and pay $3.50 ea. Not bad.. IMO. Some of us still use instant these days (LOL) so this is a great deal if you want Nescafe.

Not sure. I printed it the day I posted on here.. so I have it, usually the longer you hold off on printing the less likely some of the great ones are to stick around. I posted on here early on so everyone could grab it.

This time, I got only $2 ECB for Hydro.

I got $4 ECB for the Womens. So if you do the deal just get the "2" womens not the mens.

I searched the thread for Poise, and came up with your post and 2 other posts related to the Poise CVS q...so, there's no Poise deal listed here. Where did you get the info on this deal?

I'm curious because I needed a filler tonight, grabbed a Poise, and at the scanner it showed up as $4.99. But...when I got to the register, it rang up $3.99 and I got $1 back. This deal is NOT in my ad.

The Skintimate (yellow can), gave me $ 2 ecb.

The Schick Hydro Sensitive gel (men) gave me $4 ecb..

I have 2 tallies on my receipt as follows:

Schick Hydro Buy 1, Get back 4 ECB (men Schick Hydro sensitive gel)
Quantity toward reward 1
Quantity needed to earn reward 3

( limit not yet confirmed as 4, will have to buy more to see what my tally says)

Hydro Gel, Buy 1 Get 2 ECB (yellow can)
Quantity toward reward 1
Quantity needed to earn reward 1
************************************************************************************************
On another card, I purchased (1) Schick Hydro Sensitive gel for men, (all they had) and it gave me a $4 ECB.

Receipt says:
Schick Hydro Buy 1, Get back 4 ECB
Quantity toward reward 1
Quantity needed to earn reward 1

(so I have 2 different tallies for the Schick Hydro men so far) !!!

Thats what happened last week also when it was tracking the purchase of shave gel as a part of disposable razors..and limit was2 that time..

armywifeandtwo 02-23-2013 07:07 PM

Mine says:

Schick Hydro Gel, Buy 1 get $2 ECB (Lim 1)
Limit fulfilled

Then says;

Schick Hydro, Buy 1 Get $4 ECB
Quantity Toward this Reward 1
Quantity Needed to Earn Reward 3

On the ECB's themselves, it says "$2 ECB for buying Schick Hydro Shaving Gel"
AND, "$4 ECB for buying Schick Hydro Women's"

So I'm not sure? I did the deal 2 weeks ago and they fell under the disposable so it looks like this time 1 of them fell under the weekly deal, which cost me $.49 but not a huge deal. I'll try to get another one tonight (Men's) and see what happens.

I picked up the Neutrogena Men's Gift Set because they scanned (b1g1 50% off $9.99 + $5) but they did not produce the ECB so I have to take them back.

Sorry to add to the Schick confusion but this was my experience tonight at early activation store.

Bought 2 cans Schick Hydro Sens shave gel (UPC 841058016007) + 1 schick hydro silk disposable razor pack + 1 Schick Hydro 5 manual razor and received single Ecb for $16. The only Tracking for Schick on my rcpt says, "Schick Hydro, Buy 1 Get 4 EB....offer limit reached 4"

WTF, they grouped all the deals into one

That sucks

fatgrizzly 02-23-2013 07:56 PM

Schick Hydro Gel Sensitive Peaux Sensibles (UPC 8 4105801600 7) gave me $4ECB.
Schick Hydro Gel Sensitive Moisturizing Hydratant (UPC 8 4105801601 4) gave me $2ECB.

I first bought 2 Peaux Sensibles for "Hydro Gel, Buy 1 Get 2 ECB" deal, expecting $4ECB.
I got $8 ECB instead.

On my receipt, it said
Schick Hydro Buy 1, Get back 4 ECB
Quantity toward reward 2
Quantity needed to earn reward 2

So, I went back and bought 2 Moisturizing Hydratant. This time, I got only $4ECB.
Tally said,

Hydro Gel, Buy 1 Get 2 ECB
Offer limit reached

I have 2 tallies on my receipt just like LuvFreebies.

I went other CVS store and bought 2 more Sensitive Peaux Sensibles
on a different card and got $8ECB.

HTH

IKR!?!? Was only expecting $4 Ecb total for both the Hydro Gels so getting $8 back kinda took the sting out of it :)

What Schick Hydro sensitive gel did you purchase, can we have the UPC please?

Thanks!

Just bought 2 cans of Schick Hydro Sensative UPC 841058016007 and got $8 ECB.

Crest with scope travel size works again as usual.
Pricing $2.77 - $2.87 produced $3 ECB, limit 2 as usual too. Little MM!

The peelies were the only reason I bought them since they are $3.99 each so $4 ECB only makes them free and still too expensive for me since I would have to pay sales tax on them.

My store had a three-tier display. If anyone's still looking for the display this is what it looks like (yours may only have one tier though).

What is his deal.? Ad says $3 ecb w.y.b multi-pack of crest. OR $2ECb w.y.b (2) crest tp

oxymoronx 02-23-2013 08:50 PM

Anybody buy Nexus yet? It was reported as a monthly deal with a limit of 7. I'm curious if you buy like $40+ will more than 10 ecb print.

I'm hoping to stack some % getting it close to free/MM after Beauty club totals. Amazing deal on the big bottles! Family members love this stuff.

pennysaverr 02-23-2013 08:54 PM

3 ecb w.y.b. multi-pack of crest.

Did you read post you quoted? answer is right in it

Can't confirm this but I've read reports of PF Skincare - Spend $20 get 15 ECB, limit 1. Monthly.

doubleq7 02-24-2013 02:50 AM

Clearance Men's Neutrogena produces the $5 ECB's wyb 2. Unfortunately, the limit is really 1. The $5/2 MQ will beep and the cashier will have to enter in the lower price. The Scope deal absolutely sucked tonight. I wanted to do last week's deal ($5 ECB's when you spend $10 limit 2 $4.99 ea) but the new deal kicked in instead (2/$7.98 get $2 ECB's limit 2) at the stores that turned the new ad on early. Interestingly, at one store that turned the new ad on the old Scope deal was still working. On Pantene, the $3/2 MQ's are beeping with the bogo's. I was expecting to use 2 $3/2's and 4 bogo's on 8 Pantenes (2/$7) but it would only let me use 4 bogos which auto'd for $4.99. Still a really good deal with a $4/$20 or $10/$50.

Last night I bought the orange acne stuff and shave gel in a can. They are in the men's razor section by the shave gel. They've been on clearance for a month now so ymmv in finding them. The shave gel tag said 50% off but it actually was 75%.

Looks like it since I maxed out on most cards with the previous deal, and just bought one today and got the $4 ECB.

Also, confirming the previous post that the small 2.7 oz. Crest Complete w/ Scope is producing the $3 ECB. It's on the regular TP shelf, not in Travel.

Same here. Maxed out the last deal, and got the $4 ECB for the 1 can available at my store today.

This particular store never had this Schick display that I have seen, but the can from the display was mixed in with the regular Hydro Sensitives on the shaving aisle.

Thanks. So buying just ONE of the travel size is producing $3. What deal is that? (Not that I am complaining

It's apparently the $3 ECB when you buy any multipack, but just buying one of the 2.7 oz. produces the ECB for a small mm.

Is the Aveeno lotion tube (2.5oz?) or the bar tracking for the $10/3 Aveeno deal?

I bought 2 of the women's skintimate in the yellow can and only got 4 eb's total and my receipt say Schlick hydro gel buy 1 get 2 eb's and limit reached at 2. I think I read that some folks got 4 eb's each for these so they may be counting towards different deals at different stores.

Oops, yeah I did the math wrong, it's not a straight out MM.

However it could be if combined with % off, $/$$, etc. The $10/$50 I've been getting will go great with this. I'll have to give it a try.

VSPinkGirl 02-24-2013 11:32 AM

For Nexxus you can buy over $20 in a transaction and it carries over. I spent like $43 and got 20ECB and $3 towards next $20.

michgend 02-24-2013 11:38 AM

Just bought 3 of the Hydro sensitive shave creams for $4.29 ea and got back $12 ECB.
Says Schick Needed - 1 so limit is at least 4.
No peelies left on any cans as someone was nice enough to take them all but .29c for something my DH uses isn't bad. The 3 pack Crest travel size is $3.59 so not a MM here.

It is a deal, separate from the get 7 ECBs for cosmetic purchase! This deal is for the PF skin care line. Buy specific marked items and get 15 ECBs. The cheapest I got today was $19.99 for day/night cream. Regular priced so % off will apply. The b1g1 peelie doesn't help here, other than to get free product, but then there is tax!

Is the Schick Hydro shave gel $4 ECB tracking with the Schick Hydro disposables ECB deal, or with the Schick Hydro refillable razor ECB deal, or with the Schick Hydro Silk refillable razor ECB deal?

I know it's showing up oddly on the receipt as limit 4 when buying the Hydro sensitive shave gel, but I'm just curious which deal it's actually falling into?

I think that's correct. I thought I read that someone got 4 EB's from the women's but I must have been mistaken. Ah, well, the men's is much easier to find here anyway!

Here is the lowdown on the Schick deal(s):

Schick Hydro Silk non-disposable razor and the Schick Men's Peaux Sensitive shave cream all track on the same tally for the $4 ECB. I can confirm as have bought both of these. Limit is 4. My guess is that the Men's Hydro razor and disposables will also track here for a total purchase of 4 if you are mixing and matching these products.

Schick Skintimate for Women is a separate tracking. These are giving $2 ECBs. Limit is more than one on this, but I cannot confirm what the limit is as I have only purchased one.

Hopefully this will help to clarify the Schick deals.

Physician Formula Skincare does work even if not tagged and as someone else confirmed, limit is 1. I decided to hold onto the B1G1 peelie for a future sale since it is good until 6/30.

Physician Formula Skincare offer is buy $20, so I doubt your 7.99 will qualify unless it will allow you to purchase three items at 7.99

Now confirmed. Bought 2 $19.99 products and used the BOGO peelie.
Got back the $15 ECB. On receipt: "Phys. Form, Spend 20 Get 15 EB" Offer limit reached at 1.

Not all stores are carrying the PF skincare line. Typically only the larger stores do. I usually find it in 1 out of 4 stores!

dont forget you'll get $5 back if u spent $50 :) for beauty club

sorry it didnt quote- I'm referring to the PF skin care spend 20 get 15 ecb and the bogo peelie ;)

The Sally Hansen deal is more than one. I am up to three right now and limit not reached. I have done them in separate orders so not sure if you can do more than one at a time.

Can u share ur scenario for salley hansen ??

LuvFreebies 02-24-2013 07:08 PM

Maybelline deal for this week is at least more than 2 .

You will have to do in transactions of $10.00, the amounts do not carry over.

CRStrom 02-24-2013 07:31 PM

For Sally Hansen I bought 2 of the Diamond Strength polishes (only because I LOVE these polishes). I figured after the $2 off $2.99 or more (TP found at Walgreens), the portion of the $4/$20, the 20% off and the portion toward beauty bucks, it's about a $2MM.

Schick Hydro limit reached at 4, after buying 4 Sensitive Shave gel.
Irish Spring is limit more than one (tracking as Softsoap)

Does anyone know if the Brookside pouches are still ringing up for $2.25?

same here in NorCal (which I thought meant Nor-mally Cal-lously overlooked in CVSese)

CVS $3IP & mq beepless

Also a $2 CVSQ from home mailer, the $4 one in same mailer is for more expensive item not tagged for ECB

NM mini shelf tags disappearing. Only found one 15.99 item

They were yesterday and I saw a tag at one store indicating that price until 3/31. Some inserts got $2/1 qs.

Are we sure this is not a monthly deal? I saw it in another upcoming ad sneak peak? Maybe that's why it's more than 1?

And there is no special display at my store either. Sad.:(

Ahhhh, not sure what you mean by that, but I'm referring to the massive $10 coupon that CVS was kind enough to give us, along with the $3 mfq, the product has been wiped out! Nothing else was meant, and by the way I have made several contributions here!

PF was BOGO 50% last week which trumped the new ad activation because this week there is no sale price.

savinpennies 02-25-2013 12:21 PM

Mentos Bubble Fresh flavor gum is NOT working for the deal- store did a price adjustment and manual print.

All varieties of Cheerios except the Honey Nut Medley Crunch appear to be working for the deal

luvkittehs 02-25-2013 12:55 PM

A nice filler this week is the 2Ls of Diet Pepsi for $.99 + the B1G1 IPs (I'm sure NLA).

Coupon auto's for $1.67 so that makes 2 2Ls $.31.

I also found a $.50/1 IP in my stash that expired today so I got the limit of 5 for $1.11.

If you get a RC, will the coupon still be acepted? I thought I remembered someone once saying that if it is a CVS coupon, it can be expired and still accepted.

I was told at my store they would accept it if it is attached to the rc. Lucky I have a good store and they give me no problems.

babetta29 02-25-2013 03:06 PM

Oh wow long time out of the game.
This week is just what I needed to get back in.
Worked great I had RC for bogo schick razors as well as bogo wisk RC.
Both Rainchecks was from at least a year ago LOL.

2 schick @ 10.49
_4off20 (ebay)
-8.00 coupons
-bogo rc -10.49
Had $1.50 in overages so I threw in the mentos
Paid 49 cents plus tax got back 9 ecb's.

babetta29 02-25-2013 03:11 PM

Wanted to mention
Tresemme UPC 022400642185 and 022400642178 rings up as 3.33 so the cvs $3.00 q works great

Also a $1.75 peelie i found on other bottles on back of shelf.

3.33 X 2 = 6.66 -3.00 cvs - 1.75 peelie = $1.91 for two big bottles.
Of course you would plan this into a transaction with a 4 off 20 (ebay)

Yes, it must have been the overlapping deals that caused it to not to print.. because I bought the PF mascara for $9.99 and got the $7 ECB.. but I did it on Sunday..

What were the product names of these? I googled the first one and it came up as some anti-breakage something or another. The coupon is only good on:

Valid on: PLATINUM STRENGTH Shampoo & Conditioner 25 oz. & Deep Conditioning Treatment 6 oz., SPILT REMEDY Shampoo & Conditioner 25 oz, FRESH START Dry Shampoo 5.7 oz, KERATIN SMOOTH Shampoo & Conditioner 25 oz & Smooth Nourish Serum 3.3 oz.

Almost all crt could go thru beepless no matter what you buy.
But better not abuse coupons. :shake:

z390z 02-25-2013 03:57 PM

OK, here are the 4 Schick deals as advertised

$4 ECB wyb Hydro 3, 5, Power razors, 4 or 8 ct. cartridges Limit 2
$5/2 Schick Hydro 5 or Hydro Silk razors or refills (SS 2/10)

$4 ECB wyb Hydro Silk razor or cartridges Limit 2
$5/2 Schick Hydro 5 or Hydro Silk razors or refills (SS 2/10) $4/1 Silk here [facebook.com]

$2 ECB wyb Schick Hydro shave gel 8.4 oz Limit 2

$4 ECB wyb Hydro men's or women's disposable razor Limit 2
$4/1 Schick Hydro 5 or Hydro Silk disposables pack (SS 2/10)

----------

Actually there are I think 3 deals:

$4 ECB wyb Hydro "1" Limit 4
Sensitive Shave gel

$4 ECB wyb Hydro "2" Limit 2

$2 ECB wyb Schick Hydro shave gel 8.4 oz Limit 2
includes yellow can Skintimate and Schick shave gel moisturizing

Has anyone figured out what "1" and "2" deals on "Hydro" includes
(there were some confusing reports, but they only discussed shave gels, not razors)

I only know that I bought one Schick Hydro 5 razor along with 4 Schick Sensitive shave gel and I got 16 ecb, but not 4 ecb for Schick Hydro razor, so my thinking is

"1" includes Hydro 3, 5, Power, Silk razors, 4 or 8 ct. cartridges

"2" includes Hydro disposables

No worries, we all make mistakes, but it shouldn't be a YMMV on an incorrect product.

CVS registers (as well as a bunch of other stores) will allow coupons through without beeps on incorrect products.

With that being said, I think the Smooth Keratin (which IS included on the coupon) is included in the sale.
