55" LG 55LM4600 1080p 120Hz 3D LED HDTV $699 at Costco

Hey what you guys think of this deal at costco instore? I saw them in San Leandro,CA

55" LG 55LM4600 1080p 120Hz 3D LED HDTV $699. The closest deal I see is $848 or more from Bestbuy, Amazon, Frys, etc.

Thanks

I think that my cousin paid ~$800-$900 at Best Buy. It is $799 at Amazon and Costco likely has better return service which you may want when you discover that you are frowning at your TV because of the flashlighting issue and poor black levels. Both are par for the course for LG's.

I have the 47" 7600 and just deal with it. YMMV.

ive seen this at costco, been seriously thinking of getting it but not sure if my 3 year old sony 55 ex501 is as good or not? it looks nice in the store, and watching the new OZ movie trailer in 3d is nice, but really hoping it would look good at home. any suggestions?

I got this same tv from sears. After the Sears reward points, it came out to about $700 for me, others got it for less using the Sears card. The tv works well so far. It's a good deal for this price. It has no wifi. We were able to play MKV movies from an external drive through the USB port.

so i pulled the trigger and bought it last night. Looks very nice! i put it on the floor last night to compare it to my 55 sony lcd thats 3 years old and it looks as good or better i think. 3D on directv is so awesome looking, and using 2d-3d conversion is very nice. i will probably run to frys elec and buy some more 3d glasses today since a 2 pack is only 7.99. today i will be moving tvs around to hang it on the way, then get the setting dialed in. so far, i think it was definitely worth it, esp at $699

Do you pay restocking fee or return shipping fee when returning to amazon?

I had bought 47" previously from Costco which I returned and bought this one. I love it. This is the best price I have noticed so far. I wanted LG because of the Passive 3D glasses, and its awesome.

Just picked up what looked to be the last one from the nearest Costco last night.
Haven't set it up yet, but feeling a bit nervous with all the critics harping about flashlghting, poor black levels, not true 120 Hz panel, etc.....

Great price, in for 1. We've been feeling like the only people with a set under 50 " in the living room. Now I can move my $300 Black Friday 40" LCD Westy into the bedroom. This was front page in January for 99 dollars more. Thanks OP!
