what type of game is this? is this a find the magic pixel game like the hidden expedition amazon game? that was not enjoyable on my iphone.

these big fish folks need to port fairway solitaire to osx or facebook or something, so my wife can play on a bigger screen (and a screen that's not my phone!)

fairway solitare was free for osx..i know because i grabbed it the last time these games were free. But either way it is available and also for the ios too. I got excited too for this post because i thought the sequel or something was free. I was pleasantly surprised with awakening...pretty fun time waster.

I went to buy it... turns out I got it free last year. So I got he mac version this time.

I enjoyed playing the game, but it is only the first in a series of three. It is a casual puzzle game, with a mix of find the hidden object screens, figure out the right sequence games, "use the stick you found on the ground over there on the lamp over here" puzzles, etc. It does seem aimed more towards women, since it has almost no violence, and has flying horses, a princess, fantasy castles, a pocket dragon, etc.

I ended up buying the next two games in the series to finish the story.
