Good mouse. Kinda light but you dont pay the premium for weights. I have the G500 myself but this is more centered in its top surface vs the G500. I think I like that centered feeling. I bought my G500s for $40 each but this is a great price for just a tier lower. Some may even claim this one is better but thats completely up to you. These are palm mice. Great durability too. Might is rated at 8 million clicks. I think this one is rated for 10 million. lol. Play Diablo 3 and that may not seem like much but hey...this will still last you. :P.

I'm looking for a mice that offers no acceleration/no prediction. I am also a finger tip / claw grip user. I bought this g400 mouse at Best buy for $32 price matched at amazon.

However, I looked into the g9x and its for claw/fingertip grip users but offers a small % of acceleration. Are there any mice similar to the g9x ? is it possible to completely disable the acceleration on the g9x

Deal is dead.... too late once again.... I shall continue my journey using Logitech M510 wireless mouse for gaming....

That's a refurb, in other words it's used, not new. Not the same, 5 dollars less for an used product by someone else or some party is bad.

Cooler Master Xornet and the red version with higher dpi come to mind, and the price is usually right. Some people won't like the ring finger rest, while other people will realize what they've been missing.

G400 has an area to put a ring finger too, just different.

G400 is a nice universal mouse and known for good quality, though kind of feels like you're gripping the top half of a football.

G500 on sale for $39.99 @ newegg.
