This may have the same CPU as the iPhone 4 (the A4 chip), but is nowhere as dependable. The ram is only half the iphone4 (256mb). So some heavy app would fail, or just freeze, and multi is a joke. I have one, and its nothing like my iphone 4. Save your money for the 5th gen iPod touch instead, or get an ipad 3/4.

Cowboom Used Apple iPod Touch, 4th Gen Black $125 shipped plus tax

http://www.cowboom.com/deal-of-the-day.cfm

$119.99 + $5.00 shipping then sales tax. Normal price is $139.99 I believe but shipping is regularly free.

There are grades 4-6, according to urlhasbeenblocked http://urlhasbeenblocked/ And yes I have a 6 in my cart, they do exist.

You may need to buy a sync cable but these are only a few bucks on eBay.

If you don't like the condition of what you get, Cowboom has a great 30 day RMA policy - they will send you a return label, and they will fully credit your return. They DO tend to undergrade their items. Granted, used iPods generally look very scratched up, but the 5s I have gotten from them have minor screen scratching and typical (not heavy) wear on the back. Just put it in a case and be happy that you saved $150 over buying the new, 5th generation. :)

It was pretty random. I just looked at what was included and not included and apparently it said the 64gb one was included so I jumped on it. The title still said 32gb. I'll confirm when I receive it.

seepinpanda05 02-11-2013 10:44 PM

how did you get a grade 5?

You can do it on any DOTD. An SD coded this several weeks ago, if anyone has his/her name please post it so they can be repped, he/she deserves it x1000000; its such a help. Works on Flash sales as well, and its been updated I see so you don't see the items that have sold and are stale, only the ones that are still available.

seepinpanda05 02-11-2013 11:21 PM

pretty cool, got a 5. thanks!

oh I see, I thought I could do it for a specific item I want on cowboom. That is cool though.

We used to have Dealsbyte to comb through all the pages but that disappeared January 1st. It would tell you the best grade, what it included, and what page to find it. :( It was a big help indeed; some item pages can be 40+

Never heard of that. I bought my first cowboom item a few weeks ago and was very satisfied with the price and product. Now I plan on doing a lot more cowboom purchasing.

Mariss716 02-11-2013 11:43 PM

If anyone needs a cable because theirs doesn't come with one, I bought from this eBay seller yesterday for a different iPod I was outfitting. It shipped today, and the auction states the cable IS genuine Apple (a lot in this price range are cheap knockoffs). They are seller refurbished so most likely tested to standard then bulk packaged. I'd rather go refurbished OEM than knockoff that's going to break or won't work at all.

Did we determine if the 64gb version is still a possibility.

$300? what a rip off.

they are worth no more than $150 even back then.

Let us know if you actually get the 64gb ipods... I'm curious! Please post back

Stud 02-12-2013 09:13 AM

Only seeing a grade 4 with no accessories. Do they typically add inventory during the day? Its only showing 1 choice, so there is only 1 left or all the rest are the same, grade 4 with nothing.

thecloudgazr 02-12-2013 10:16 AM

What is the description for grade 6? I'm just curious about the difference between grade 5 and grade 6.

atari 02-22-2013 04:15 AM

My "grade 5" came a couple days ago. I am very satisfied with the overall quality of the unit. Don't know about battery life yet, but so far it seems pretty good.
