I wasn't sure but I definitely turned off my notifications. I got an order confirm email too so I think I'm ok and I checked the website and it says "in production" so I think I'll get it. I have heard peeps have it cancelled even after they think they bought it.

I did quick research and assuming there is no problem with a refurb, this is twice the machine you can get anywhere for around 1/2 the price.

It also must be rather thin to have this size screen and be around 6 lbs.

Hope you get it if you ordered it.

Oh all, I may have gotten the last one, when I followed the link at 6 am, it said one left and it seems I got it, of course, I know they can cancel and all that too so when I have it in my hands, I'll say I got one!

In the interest of full disclose: I've bought 4 laptops from the outlet in the past 4+ months. One of them had a bad LCD (there was a blue tint to everything, and it was definitely the screen). After two calls to Lenovo (one to service, one to sales), I was given the option of them paying shipping to RMA it for a full refund OR I pay shipping to have warranty work done (I returned it on their dime). The other three laptops were absolutely pristine.

Appears to be dead :( You guys buy too many laptops! I just want one.

Arrgh! I just received this in the mail yesterday and when I took it home I found that both the 'n' key and left 'ctrl' key are not working. I'm sure this is just one that slipped by QA and I'm sure the rest of the units are fine. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to send this thing to Texas to have it repaired after going through some thoroughly unnesissary troubleshooting steps with Lenovo support when I get home. This is really a pain in the ass, but other than this infuriating problem, this is a very nice laptop. It's sleek, runs very fast and the screen is sharp and bright.
