Does this have backlit keys?

For use in living room, gotta have back lighting.

slicoder 02-13-2013 07:31 AM

No on the backlit keys.

THanks for the post. I bought another one for my second HTPC.

KK, so to get pinch to zoom and double tab to right click I need to get a new K400 (aka the K400r)?

No...both keyboards are identical except on the K400r you have to press the function key to use the F1-F12 keys. No pinch to zoom on either one.

EDIT: Outrager is right. Also no word on the ability to use either the K400 or the 400r with full functionality on Android. Some say it works, others don't.

Also, BestBuy has it for $29.99 for a new one which comes with a 3 year warranty.

Bad price for a refurbished one. For a new one, $20 or less for slick deals, $25 for a warm deal. $30 is almost regular price.

Are you talking about $30 for a new K400 or a new K400R? Not seeing the latter.

From what I can tell, most stores don't actually differentiate between the K400 and K400R since the K400 has been discontinued and the K400R replaces it. You would have to go to the store and look at the box to check.
