Is this a short game and are those DLCs worth it?

2D scrollers remind me too much of my Colecovision days. Been there, done that, want to keep moving forward.

You're missing out. Some of the best deals on Steam activated games have been from GMG. Not to mention that you can save further by redeeming games they give you for free. All without downloading a single thing from them.
