The egg has it for the same price ... Linky [newegg.com]

I love my LG IPS235V. The LG IPS234V is newer and even better. Reduced signal lag, response time, and has a redesign using an external power supply.

Standard Refresh Rate: 75 Hz
hmm thats pretty good but wonder if it can go higher. |

How does this compare to the Dell U2312HM @ $220 on Newegg right now?

The Dell has a better stand (height adjustment) and a USB hub.

Most people don't need a USB hub, and with the money saved assuming the picture qualities are identical, you can easily buy a nice Vesa desk stand and have money left over. |
I just bought 3 of these for eyefinity. got them yesterday. Wonderful so far, they replaced an old Hanns-G 28" 1920x1200 screen that I replaced the panel on after a buddy gave it to me when his kid shot it with an airsoft gun.
Anyway, The stands are less then stellar which won't matter to me much once my triple mount gets here. The picture on these are awesome a lot more crisp and clear then my old panel. I can also state they are not 14ms response time panels. They are listed as 5ms reponse on the UK LG site. No clue why etailers and the US LG site sate different. From what I understand the older versions of it did have a slower response. So as someone else said maybe they just didn't update the site and/or info to etailers. I'm using an Active DP > DVI, HDMI, and a VGA cable with a DVI adapter (Need to grab a 10ft DVI cable this week...) and they are working great in eyefinity. I'm actually surprised at some of the older games I tested not needing any special tweaks or fixes. I ordered all 3 of mine from Newegg. It seems there standard price on these are $150 Best Buy carries a similar model (Think the PN is different which from what I read just means a different color power light) for $190. If that's the only difference you could try to head there and take a look at one in store. |

I can't say for certain that it's identical but here is a great review. http://www.overclock.net/products...views/5463 I'm on the fence but I think I'm just going to do it. The price difference is just way too much for me. If the difference is a 9 vs a 10, I'll save the $. |
Just googled and someone from another forum said that these use the same LM230WF3 A-FRC panel. Only real difference between them are what you guys had already mentioned.

I think I will pull the trigger, and perhaps buy a vesa stand if the stock stand truly sucks as much as people say it does. Thanks! |
