Thanks for the correction. Not such a hot deal in that case.

amax 02-13-2013 10:40 PM

Wow. This is pretty awful.

Thanks, looks like warranty may not be valid either.

When expectations are high, the disappointment is equally as great.

So even without the 15% cb, this isn't a bad deal, if you're comparing prices to other retailers.

Pretty expensive still for a sandy bridge when one could wait for an ivy bridge to hit up on a deal of the same or lesser prices. :thumbdow:

can someone tell me why this is a bad deal? Yes, its last year's model, but its still the best price available for a slim reliabile ultrabook.

This is not a bad deal, unless you are playing games on yours, you will not noticed the difference between sandy and ivy bridge. I hate it when people say you can get so and so, better this and that without providing a link. So basically their post is useless as far as I am concern. This is a good laptop for normal use, facebook, email, watching netflix, etc. at a great price. Unless you are willing to wait until black friday for an ivy bridge laptop. I would jump on it before it's sold out.
