Got a grade 6 with USB and charger for $75.
|
Picked up a grade 5 with ac adapter. Hope it's in good condition
|
It's hit or miss with Cowboom. I got one without charger that was in great condition. Had no problem registering it at B&N and then putting Jellybean 4.2 on it (from iamafanof.wordpress.com). Others have found that prior owners failed to deregister the device and B&N refused to re-register without prior owner consent. (Cowboom had no way to track them down.) I've had to return other items to Cowboom but their RMA process is quick and easy.

warning..cowboom will not ship charger and make u to run behind them. .
|
bear in mind the nook has a custom AC adapter, not a standard microUSB.
also, only a few 4s left. |
I am not a fan of mine even with Cyan mod on it. Too slow!!

I bought this nook tablet. Got a grade 5 with charger for $75. Hopefully it will be much snappier. Hell hopefully its a 16GB /w 1GB ram. I'll put CM10.1 on the tablet and see if it is more usable. |

I've been trying to search for a cheap case for this nook tablet, but not getting good results on amazon or ebay. Any recommendations on a decent case for under $10?

Also for those concerned with the proprietary micro usb, regular micros do work they just charge slower (~8 hrs vs 2 hrs) I usually use wifi file transfers instead of usb anyway bc its easier to work with. |

For testing purposes you can get a prebuilt JB 4.2 image from "iamafanof.wordpress.com". Just follow the instructions provided on that site. Later on, if you’re using a larger microSD card, you’ll probably want to increase the size of the “DATA” and “SDCARD” partitions. See: "Building a CM10.1 (JB 4.2.1) SD card for Nook Tablet: “http://forum.xda-developers.com/s...2098419” Installing internally is pretty easy too. See: Installing CM10 Internally on Nook Tablet: “http://forum.xda-developers.com/s...2056626”. Just replace the references to CM10 with CM10.1 –the nightly image locations are slightly different but you should have no trouble finding them. To fix your microSD card try the MiniTool wizard, or "sdformatter" (both free--links found at sites referenced above) |

Battery is the only things that bothers me in pre owned tablets. Hard to trust the battery!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00...04_s00_i00 How long does your nook battery last after full charge? Mine is about 4-5 hours at full brightness and web surfing & emails. Does that sound right? |
Excellent price. Comes and goes. If it works and isnt too badly scratched up then definitely worth 80 dollars (after putting in latest android). Usually cowboom sells for 95. This is suppose to be comparable to the kindle fire (2nd version).
|
I got mine yesterday and tried to put CM10.0 on SD card. I was successful and pretty impressed by the speed and performance. However I wanted to upgrade to CM10.1 on SD but it seems like flashing to internal memory so no NOOK OS anymore. It was fine but just regret not able to play around with NOOK OS. Several power down/up after.. the device can't be powered up anymore.....
Ooops... need to return it and can't find deals with similar price anymore.. |

I'm trying to figure out what 32gb card works with CM10. I was thinking about just purchasing two more 16 gb Sandisk cards from Amazon but I really would like to use a 32gb one. |

Received mine yesterday. It has the box, charger, and cable. It looks brand new to me.
Downloaded cm10 on a 16gb class 4 sd card. Working perfectly right now. Bought a case from Staples for $5. The SD card was bought from newegg for $10 with a $5 rebate. |
I received my grade 5 nook yesterday and it looked brand new. Used a kingston 16 gb class 4 card for cm10, works great. Which casr did u get from staples for $5?

Seems that site just has the Roms. Is there a really easy to follow guide? I've looked at guides on XDA and there is so much involved and links to other pages with more links to more pages. It seems like going round in circles. |
I just got mine today and it appears to be the BNTV250A. A indicates it is the 8GB version. Without the A indicates it is the 16GB version. I'm debating on whether to return or not.
Also the microUSB end that plugs into the tablet has been mangled so it is bent at like a 45 degree angle. After I got the pizza grease off the screen the tablet appears to be in mint condition. |

Camera is not a primary requirement..so Kindle and Nook also in the list... Which one do u suggest... Kindle/Nook color/Nook tablet /Touchpad/Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 .... |
