Look like good deal... Surprised no one jumping
On this..

tennis8363 02-14-2013 06:41 AM

Thanks OP, needed this for my new Onkyo home theater system!

Technosquid 02-15-2013 02:19 AM

These are really thin for HDMI cables. They're about the thickness of a USB cable. They seem to work, but I think in the future I'm going to go with 28 AWG or better,

Fletch113 02-15-2013 04:01 AM

Good find op, in for a spare

pmk0226 02-15-2013 04:53 AM

In 4 1! Thanks OP :-)

Warhawk97 02-15-2013 05:19 AM

Thanks OP, in for 1 of each, both codes worked together.

elmo7 02-15-2013 05:39 AM

Little to no specs on these. I'd want to know the version and wire gauge before buying.

umrdyldo 02-15-2013 07:25 AM

These are cheap cables. If they work they are great for instances where you are leaving the cable in place.

Been using cheap cables for years, never hard any problem. Not for ones who want gold plated jacks..

This. If you're going to be running this through walls, think twice.

I used monoprice cables for everything and have had almost non-stop issues with them. I'd test them -- they'd work fine, then I'd run them through the wall. Within a matter of months or years (being a year and a half tops), I'd start having handshake issues with my TV. I made the assumption the receiver was to blame since I changed out all of the HDMI cables between my components and receiver (but never changed out the in-wall cable). Took the receiver in for warranty repair and they couldn't replicate the issue (no wonder why!). Changed out the in-wall cable (pain in the royal ass) and it solved it. That cheap one lasted about six months to a year. Went to fish it out and it snagged on something and actually snapped (I kid you not) in the wall. So I had to completely re-fish a new cable through. This time, I made sure to use a wall rated one from Blue Rigger (Amazon carries them). The ratings are great and it has a very solid construction and it's not pricey.

I also had some issues when I switched from my Sony receiver to an HK AVR1700. When using with my PS3, I had flickering/handshake issues. Other people on this forum and AVS Forum reported similar issues. In nearly every (or every) case, using a better cable resolved the issue. You could turn deep color off to solve it, but WHY? I also had sparkles in my SD cable TV signal. Changed out the HDMI cable from my cable box to the receiver and it cleaned it up.

Like I said, these specific ones give me trouble when unplugging a lot. They like to to be perfectly inserted. (That's what she said)

RugerRedhawk 02-15-2013 07:45 AM

Pretty iffy reviews, I'm going to pass. Most are probably fine though.

Deradorn 02-15-2013 07:46 AM

Got the 15' one. I needed it last weekend and had to buy one at a store for 20 bucks. At this price it worth having a I have a spare.

Sent from Slickdeals App for iPhone & iPod Touch.

Mummel 02-15-2013 07:51 AM

This looks so sketchy. No specs listed. This could be HDMI 1.nothing for all we know. Love the way its on FP with a 19 comments and 25 TU. What a fcking scam. Anyway, I would stay away. You can get much better deals at Monoprice for v1.4

muryanli 02-15-2013 07:53 AM

Just FYI, when checking out, you must leave the box about receiving "exclusive emails on discounts" checked or the promo codes won't work.

Dealseeker16 02-15-2013 07:54 AM

24awg $4.89 http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-TO-CAB...i+cable+15

viciousthomas 02-15-2013 08:00 AM

I don't need these. but at this price, I'll find a reason to =P. Picked up 2 15'! Thanks OP

puddnhead 02-15-2013 08:01 AM

No specs, but photos make it as clear as the nose on my face that these are not high enough gauge for 15' length to give you reliable full connection (google HDMI and gauge). I have no idea why anyone would want to spend hundreds/thousands of dollars on a HD video system (TV or PC), then compromise it by skimping on component connections to save $5-10.

Another "deal" to save a couple bucks by sacrificing quality on a basic but critical component of a larger system promoted to FP, way to go SD. SD should really be split into two:

1. "SCD": Slick cheap deals (for those who care about only price, not quality)

2. "SQD": those that are interested in wquality products, and just want to save a few bucks on them.

KiraOfTheSky 02-15-2013 08:02 AM

Just a heads up, I bought the 6ft one when the deal was $.99 and for the price I can't argue but just to let everyone know it doesn't work with the PS3 it get a little white noises on the screen not sure this apply to other system but the 360 does work though.

beefsupreme 02-15-2013 08:11 AM

worth it so I don't have to put my laptop next to my tv to stream off of comp.....if it doesn't work, I am out $3....whatever

mill2151 02-15-2013 08:21 AM

Good price for a cheap HDMI cable to leave around the house. Personally, I prefer spending a few extra bucks and buying the Amazon-branded cables. I've had good luck with them and they don't feel cheap.

vangxeo 02-15-2013 08:22 AM

in for 3 each

chong67 02-15-2013 08:31 AM

Look like a USB cable. Never seen anything this thin before.

I have a bunch of HDMI cables around the house before. It seems to have legs.

Broncos 02-15-2013 08:36 AM

10' cable

I have same 10' in this deal, and it's super thin.

This is the best damn hdmi cable I've ever owned (10ft):

Hello can you further describe this "sparkle" issue? I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. Thanks.

Elpee 02-15-2013 08:57 AM

In for 1 15ft cable. Thanks and repped.
Damn, shipping for Amazon and Monoprice cables kills the deal if you can say.

Oh wow yeah those are literally sparkles.

Jaebird 02-15-2013 09:24 AM

Bought the 10' about 4 months ago and it's still working great. I got some static when I first plug in, but after I re-plug it clear up since this day.

WhyYouLoveMe 02-15-2013 10:54 AM

Awesome! In for one - thanks!

ultratumba 02-15-2013 10:56 AM

The 3rd party on Amazon is selling for 3.64 + FS. Which is better? Just ordered from Newegg w/ shoprunner 2-day.

BigTymer 02-15-2013 11:07 AM

these cables are garbage if they are the really thin ones. I have tons of the $1 6 foot hdmi cables and these cobec ones are the only ones that have been hit or miss.

sbond007 02-15-2013 11:43 AM

in for one 15'. You never know when you'll need another

It's digital.

Either it works or it doesn't - cheap doesn't factor into them working.

angeow 02-15-2013 12:25 PM

Got a 15' for $3.46
ShopRunner eligible

Thanks for posting!

craftsmanship will play in to the longevity of an item...just because it is digital doesn't mean it is of the same quality.

equisch3x 02-15-2013 01:53 PM

woohoo i get to use shoprunner for the first time
