Got 2. Thx :)

Why won't the Newegg mobile app accept the promo codes? I've had this problem before.

don't count on getting your rebate
They will do anything to deny your claim |
Are these actually faster because of usb 3.0 ? Or is that just a gimmick?
|
Missed the last good flash drive deal to double my music capacity in my car. In for one - thanks!
|
Some are just gimmick, but this one actually reflects the higher USB 3 speeds.
Just check the newegg reviews. In for one. And i don't know where you got your info, Newegg customer service is awesome. Been building boxes with their parts, since way back when they were Egghead.com. Even worked w customer service to apply rebates past their expiration. EDIT: The code only works for one order and one order only. I did contact customer service and they have the ability to credit back the rebate if you add a new order later on. Just FYI |
Wish the 32gb model was on sale. Oh well, at this price will just grab one as have needed a larger USB key for a while (the old 2gb I have is slow and small)
|
Picked one up, since my house seems to eat these things like candy .
|
The cap kills the deal. i wish it was capless.
|
i have one of these, i get about 100MB/s read and around 25MB/s write in real world usage, not benchmarking. like i actually copy huge files to it and just see the transfer rate in Windows.
anyways, i also tried to use this drive as a bootable Windows 8 image but for some reason it refused to boot :( still a good drive though |

OT that performance seems...like usb 2.0. Is this the reason why these are always on sale? |
What? No HDMI support on this?
Oh well, in for 1, even though this is doesn't support HDMI. :P Good find OP, as I missed last deal. |
There's a $18 Teamdata 32gb USB3 on sale at newegg now too
|
great price, in for 1, thanks a lot!

I have a feeling that people don't fill out the forms correctly or put the wrong materials in the submission, and thats the cause of most rebate failures. In any case, I checked all 200-something newegg reviews and only one of them said he was still waiting on the rebate 3 months later, while one other said he'd finally gotten it after 3 months. Most of the rebates I've done this past year came pretty fast, maybe people are getting used to 4-6 weeks and those 3 month ones seem like they aren't coming. |

Just FYI
I got this same usb key with the same rebate about two months ago. Rebate came in and the usb key is super fast. As mentioned, the only down-side is that it has a cap that can get lost easily. However, the cap does snap onto the back of the key. It's worth noting that the key is very slim which is something to consider when plugged into tight spaces on the sides of laptops. I've been highly satisfied with mine and would consider getting another one as a gift. |

Thanks!

Max write speed is 25mb/sec.. Not so good if you'll be writing a lot of files often..
Read speed is fast though :) |
We apologize for the inconvenience. At this time, item (AS102P-16G-RGY ) has been removed from your shopping cart because of insufficient stock and/or it cannot be shipped to your location.

By the way, anyone else want to slap up the people who invented usb, since you can sit there trying to stick the thing in the right way for 10 minutes and it'll pretend its upside down, then when you pull the device out so you can see the slot, it drops right in? The guys who spec'd hdmi at least got the easy insertion part right. |
It's in stock, again ;)
|
Confused by Adata model numbers? Make sure that you are shipped the shorter 100/25 MB/s
AS102P-16G-RGY could be either "Value-Driven" or "Superior" Series 100 MB/s/ 25MB/s Write or 68/18? Pro or non pro? All have the same model number. Best i.d. is testing but the shorter vrs is supposed to be the newer faster one. No consistency on sku/specs with some "Superior" and "Pro" showing the slower speed. |

|
this is a FAST drive, have one and love it... in for another!
|
got two, thanks !!!!!!!
|
IN-4-1. Tried on Friday but was OOS...repped.
|
I already have one of these but it's a great deal, and a great product. Much faster than my last drive.
|
I bought one of these last time this deal was on. They denied my $5 rebate stating I did not purchase during rebate period (which I clearly did). In addition the drive sucks. It has broken on me in a way that transfers are very slow and unreliable on all PCs. I wouldnt buy at any price.

It was delivered today. I do not have USB3.0. Even though USB2.0, it's not bad as I attached .jpg.
I formatted it to exFAT immediately. It works fine but, I experience a problem. I have a laptop and a desktop PC. It worked with both PCs for a while. Suddenly The desktop did not detect it when I put it into the USB port. Even disk management window, the USB drive is not shown on the list. Then I went to following link. http://www.adata-group.com/index....=ss_usbdiy Before I run ORU.exe, it fixed automatically. I do not know why!! I suppose this USB drive is like a picky guy!!:O |
whats the xfer speed supposed to be? Im maxing out at 21ish MB on my file transfers. Is that USB 3 speeds?

Can anyone upload a fillable mir, please? |
Silly Question Probably
Doing my rebate. Back of package has 2 UPC labels. One with the word "UPC" and one with the part number on it. Their sample UPC shows the part number, but their description says to send UPC.
What are others including in the rebate submission? |
I'm going to send in the one that looks like the sample. Best thing to do is to call the rebate center, I had to do that with my last mir for a TD rebate. If you do call please let us know what you find out.
