I would guess the "excludes clearance" is CVS's addition, since they are soooo very fond of that terminology in their ads nowadays

Doll's running some errands; she'll be sending me pics when she can later, and she and/or I will be fixing up a wiki asap!

I was joking about the wiki from the earlier threads of someone asking where the ad scan was in like 4 threads when it was right above their post! Sorry for the confusion Ryder & Dollar! I wasn't being impatient for the wiki. I guess it just shows how easy it is for an innocent post to come off as a jerky post! Sorry for that...........

:thanks: again to both of you for the early ads.

Yikes, but it does say:

Mail:
• This original form completed
• Original UPC from the package (include a graphic if possible)
• Original dated sales receipt with store name and product purchase price circled

Called the number on the rebate to clarify what, "include a graphic if possible" meant.

CS's response was you need to list all the products you purchased and their UPC number. Also, need to include all the UPCs that you can remove from the package without destroying the product itself. Obviously, they do not expect the actual UPC from a shampoo bottle.

Well, this puts a damper on their rebate. :(

A bit annoying but I'm not a reseller so it doesn't make a difference to me. My family is used to receiving items in their stockings with UPC's cut out:lol:

So we have to write them down AND cut them out??? Mofos.

Include a graphic :dontknow: , such an odd request/wording for a rebate. I hate doing the upc thing. I had the tp rebates for the Scope/Oral-B on and it required the upc's, so I had to print the forms not to have to try to peel those things off. I had already tried unsuccessfully to soak some off before someone asked me why I was doing that and informed me that the online form didn't require the actual upc's. Why require the number if you're giving them the upc? Just one more obstacle to lower their redemption $$'s.

Maybe they want us to draw a detailed shampoo bottle with upc barcode:lol:, or take a picture of the upc barcode. It's really annoying!

This form states RECEIPT, as in one. It also calls for the actual UPC's or a scan.
Usually no UPC's are needed and receipt/s are in the requirements. I hope that another form appears...........

I think it's just poorly worded. It also calls for "product purchase price" circled & offer valid for "product" purchased 2/13/2013... all singular, as if we were supposed to purchase only ONE item $50 or more?

yesiamblonde 02-20-2013 12:43 PM

The week of 3/4/13 a new display with an actual Colgate TB and $.50/1 MQ will be put up in CVS stores. At first look the tearpad looks like general info on Colgate TB, BUT the coupon is on the other side. Also Clear peelies are going up between 3/2-3/8 in CVS & RA.

For this: Softsoap body wash 15-18 oz. 2/$7 get $4 ECB wyb 2 Limit 1
Currently available on coupons.com $0.50/1 SS BW.
Not stellar by any means but makes them $1/bottle after MQ & ECBs

Buy 2 @ $7

OOP $6 get $4 ECBs
Final: $2/2 or $1 each
(35% pro-rate of a 4/20 is = -$1.40 so really comes out to $0.60/2 or $0.30 each)

Usually no UPC's are needed and receipt/s are in the requirements. I hope that another form appears...........

P&G has changed their position. Although originally requiring one receipt, due to consumer concerns, multiples will be allowed.

Don't forget it will count towards the rebate as well.

Could be pretty cheap. Got tons of ECB to spare, and with ES ending and still not getting any email %, I wouldn't mind spending a few ECB on it.

Don't forget about Beauty Club. If you pro-rate that too, it is .70 worth, so it would actually make it a .10 MM.

Have you looked at the new form, they took off the part about before coupons and also have on there not good with any other offers- not sure if the previous had that on it.

Ugh, do we need to bombard the P&G facebook page again. If they want the $50 to be after coupons, they should say so....but don't take out the language saying "before coupons" and replace it with nothing. The "not to be combined with other offers" language is on the old and new forms, so can't really read anything into that.

YCG 02-28-2013 05:57 PM

Here's a $10 rebate on certain varieties of the whitestrips: http://www.3dwhite.com/publishing...ne_Av2.pdf

Not on the new form--it was removed.

kidleman 03-01-2013 11:25 AM

P&G has always counted their rebate totals before coupons. It is only on the last rebate form (the holiday one) that they added the verbiage that the rebate was before coupons. I am assuming that they did this to stop the never ending calls about whether coupons counted. Just because it isn't on the revised one, I wouldn't panic and assume that it means anything. It was never there before, and I always received my rebates on the pre-coupon total. They are obviously having problems with whoever is writing this new form, so I really wouldn't worry.

this is no different from what we have always done, put the upc number in the little boxes...

On P&G's facebook page, I asked: "Is there any reason that the following language was removed from the form: '$50.00 purchase is subtotal before coupon redemption.' The language was on the old form, but has disappeared on the new form."

"Hi John. Could you give our promotion's team a call? They will walk you through the rebate form you have and let you know the details when using coupons. 877-821-2357 Thanks. -Sara"

I'll try to remember to call on Monday.

Procter & Gamble You are correct, Laurel, you can simply write the numbers on the form.

hope this keeps your purry, miss kitty

Thanks. I searched the thread with 'tresemme' and only the wiki came up. I see what you mean by the exclusions - had to pull out the magnifying glass to read the tiny print. I won't use it (last thing I need is more Tresemme), but with such tiny print, I can't blame people for using it on the wrong product.

I used it on the wrong product I think. My store didn't have the serum, so I used it on a shampoo that looked like the picture on the coupon, black bottle with blue writing....I couldn't find the other products that the coupon had listed.

No biggie, IMO. A bit more careful next time. That's all.

OK, I don't like clogged threads either, but the rebate thread you link to has virtually no activity in it. There is not much useful info about a rebate we are all considering with regards to this week's purchases. We have a slow week, there are not a lot of posts to wade thru, I for one do not want to belabor the P&G, but it seems more pertinent here than in a thread no one even knows exists.

Just want to add that I have skimmed, skipped, ignored, lots of stuff, in lots of threads. Have never complained about anyone sharing info, even if it might be perceived as "being in the wrong thread" or repetitive. Complaining about where stuff is posted can discourage people from sharing good info - seen it happen before.

Was able to find some (all locked up though, and only about 1 each, it seemed). I got the Professional Effect 20ct (regular price 53.99).

43.99
-(2) 4/20
-$10 CRT printed last week
-$ 7 MQ
= $18.99 + 10 MIR

There is a $10 MIR for the Professional Effects 20ct, 2 hour 4ct, and Intensive Professional Effects 7 ct. I didn't see a tag at my store for the 7ct though.

You can also use if for the BOB rebate, but I'll have plenty of chances to buy other products to qualify for that instead.

Depends on the coding of the b1g1 coupon. Previously, you could tell if they were coded to allow another Q to be used with them. Now that we have the longer GS1 barcode, you can't tell.

I'm glad it was helpful to you, but there is a thread for CVS coupons and related discussion. When I see new comments added to the CVS 3/3-3/9 deals, I check it out, and was disappointed to see someone posting about the coupons popping out of the scanner. I just saw that over in the coupon thread. This thread is dead this week so far, and was a little excited to see a new post, but was quickly brought back to earth.

I printed the Coupons for this deal Saturday 3/4/13 and was able to print only one of each of these AARP MQs. Since I already used them and they disappeared for me from the site, I don't know the exact wording of these coupons. I do recall that only Raisin Bran was listed on each of these Coupons and worked for this deal. Small bottles of Minute Maid Orange are on sale for $1.50 and should also work for the Deal since I don't think there were any size restrictions for the OJ on the Coupon.

Buy 2 Kellogg's Raisin Bran Cereal 13 oz boxes @ $2.00 = $4.00 (sale price)
AND Buy Tropicana Orange Juice 59 oz, $3.00

Subtotal $7.00
-USE $1.35/2 Kellogg's Cereal Printable Coupon select varieties including Raisin Bran, Corn Flakes (and possibly Rice Krispies) at this Link [aarp.org] (exp varies)
-AND USE $1/2 CVS Kellogg's Cereal select varieties Store Coupon from the CVS Coupon Center (exp varies)
-AND USE $2/1 Orange Juice When You Buy 2 Kellogg's Cereals select varieties including Raisin Bran (and two others?) Coupon at this Link [aarp.org](exp varies)
Pay 88¢ each WYB 3 (or 38¢ each with small OJ)

If you get more with honey, why swim in vinegar?

You can only do the Sally Hansen one at a time, and no extra will carry over.

talom 03-04-2013 05:53 AM

If anyone still has the free bag of M&M's wyb 2 Kellogg's cereals peelie coupon found at Walmart a few months ago:

4 bags M&M's $12.00
2 Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies cereals $4.00
= $16.00
- $1.00/2 Kellogg's cereals (2/17 RP)
- $1.00/2 Kellogg's CRT
- $2.99 Free M&M's wyb 2 Kellogg's Rice Krispies/Cocoa Krispies cereal (peelie) ($2.99 is the maximum value)
- 4.00 (4 $1/1 M&M's crts printed out last week from the red machine)
- $1.00 ($1/2 M&M's)
= $5.99 (get $4 ECB)

The peelie coupon is good on Rice Krispies or Cocoa Krispies 11.3 oz or larger. Cocoa Krispies are 11.3 oz and part of the 2/$3 sale with scanner coupon, while Rice Krispies is part of the sale but only 9 oz so won't work with the peelie. Some of you might have better MQ's for Kellogg's cereals and/or M&M's.

I got a $2 of $5 deodorant purchase from the magic coupon machine.
Can someone tell me if I need to buy a $5 deodorant or can I buy 2 $3 deodorants and use the $2 off?
I wanna get 2 right guards for $6 and use 2x $2 off mfg q's and the mcm q and get them for free, just pay tax.
I would also get $1 ecb for a money maker.
Will this work?

lunarrainbow 03-04-2013 05:39 PM

Yes you can. Sometimes these coupons are coded as $/$ Coupons but they are not worded that way so if it beeps they should (and probably will) accept it.

The Keratin is not part of the 3/$10 sale. It's regular price (4.99 or so depending on your store).

I just used a couple of them a few hours ago. Occasionally I will get some that say already redeemed....not sure why

oxymoronx 03-06-2013 02:02 PM

I have never ever gotten a 4/20 that has been "already redeemed"...and I've used hundreds (knock on wood)!

Anyway, just printed one right now...expires on 3/16. So still good it seems.

Jason69850 03-06-2013 02:35 PM

Does anyone else have tracking for last month's soft soap deal (buy 3 and get $3 ECB) still on their receipt. I could only find one extra of the $1 Vineyard Escapes so I have had that on my receipt for weeks. Well, today, when I went to buy other stuff and I see it's still on my receipt tally "Softsoap Buy 3 Get 3 ECB Quantity Toward this Reward 1" y as . I think you know where this is going - I know it's going to be a "no" but if I bought 2 for this week's sale, is it possible to get both deals? Would the 2 for fulfilling the Quantity Needed for the Reward print along with th $4 for this week? I'm going to try it either way out of curiosity but I thought I would ask - thanks!

I used one today no problem that I printed last night and it didn't exp. until the 14th. I have had a couple of mine come up as already redeemed. ( I don't know why as I had never used them). Cashier has always pushed them through.

I just posted about this in the march monthly thread. We don't seem to know why the tracking is still there but I don't think you can ever double-dip on deals.

I'm going to say no, since the amounts are different. I have tracking for both deals on my receipt

Softsoap buy 3 get 3eb
Quantity 3 needed 3

Softsoap buy 2 get 4 Limit reached 2 (2 bottles, not 2 deals)

lunarrainbow 03-06-2013 09:06 PM

I scanned the OJ Q last because I always like to let the cashier know (and they usually understand) that the OJ coupon is not coded for the Tropicana and that's why it beeps. I'm not sure if this Coupon is still available, but I found the second print on the very last page and it wasn't with the other food items. I guess C.com wants people to scroll through 20 pages twice :omg:

I tried using the Free M&Ms WYB 2 Kellogg's Q. Manager could not get the Coupon to work no matter what she did. It was 45 minutes before closing and she only had one cash drawer . There was a looooooooooooooong line.

Coupons.com has been doing that for months. I can print 1, then I know to scan to last couple of pages for the 2nd.

A bit of OT - but wasn't there a trick to print the 2 copies without having to scroll through a million pages? I know I saw it on SD but not sure where. I tried right-clicking the Print button as a separate tab but that didn't work. Then I tried right-clicking the main c.com page as a separate tab but that didn't give me the pre-selected coupons either. I hate that site now. It's really not very user friendly at all.

Here is a little tip, if you print your coupons thru the swagbucks site, they still use the old coupons dot com format which is much easier to navigate and you get 10SB for each coupon redeemed.

ah perfect! I so miss the old site. It was straight forward and didn't bombard me with as many ads.

I think you're trying to recall the trick of right clicking on the c.com logo at the top left of the page (once you've selected the coupons you want to print.) When the menu drops down, select something like "open link in a new window". A second browser window will open with the same coupons already selected. Then just print from each window. HTH.

I got 20 % too.
Whenever I have 20% coupon, one of store manager(associate) force me to use it in the end. Even she ask me to give all the ECB and then she will apply coupon. I always force her to take it very first. I know if I have expired ECBs then it wont apply on them but if I do not have expired ECBs

I am wondering If I give her all ECBs before 20% my totla will be zero, then how she is gonna apply 20% on ZERO (LOL if I am not mistaken here).

Any suggestions ?

Thanks

It doesn't matter when you hand over the 20% coupon...it adjusts as any q's that change the discount are scanned.

ECB are like cash, that's like asking you to give them money before you use all your coupons and know what your total should be. I would be firm and say you will wait to hand over ECB once you know your final total. It's also a good idea to try to calculate yourself how much you expect the 20% to take off, this way you know what your total will be and how many ECB you need to pay for the balance.

amc2007 03-07-2013 11:23 AM

I got the 20% off coupon too, but doesn't it only apply to non-sale, non ECB items which is pretty much all the stuff we don't buy?

Items that are regular price but produce ECB will get the % (with a few exceptions), use your coupons and get ECB and you can do well.

I would be firm with this too. How in the world would they expect you to know how much in ECB you should use? I go with firm/polite when I have an issue with a cashier/manager and if that doesn't work I call corporate and get clarification. CVS corporate has great customer service so I wouldn't hesitate to call them.

I amazingly got a 20% off coupon too, which I rarely get....so definitely check your e-mail even if you tend to be unlucky with the CVS coupon fairy.

CVS's coupon policy explicitly states "CVS/pharmacy reserves the right to process coupons in any order".
If the store wants to force you to use them in a certain order, they can do that. But like I said above, this all a bunch of much ado about nothing when it comes to the % Q...it doesn't matter when it gets handed over, it recalculates at the end anyways.

Cheapkate 03-07-2013 11:40 AM

I got 20% of all my cards. Maybe we should start a list of deals we can use the 20% on.....I'll start

Dermasilk $19.99 get $10 ecb, $5 coupon in sundays paper, makes it about 99cents
Almay, between the $4 ecb and the $5/2 IP looks like a freebie to me.
Colgate spend $10 Get $5, with discount and $1 coupon coming sunday could be free.
Simple Spend $15 get $5 a bogo is coming sunday, Simple Buy cleanser or moisturizer, get cleansing wipes free ets up to $6.99 So if cleanser is $7.99 and wipes are $6.99, total is $14.98 - 20% = $13 - 7 = $6 get $5, so 2 for $1.

yorkiemomkandis 03-07-2013 11:42 AM

along with
$10 ECB wyb $30 ROC,
$5 ECB wyb 2 Cetaphil (I think I have a $5/2 ip somewhere).
$4 wyb Revlon concealer, foundation $4.99 & up.

And there's the monthlys:
$10 ECB wyb $20 Nexxus,
$5 ECB wyb $10 Sally Hansen,
$3 ECB wyb $10 Suave Products,
$15 ECB wyb $20 Physicians Formula Skin Care.

I was just able to send 20% off to my card a second time after using it at the store. Not sure if it was a fluke or if it will even work?

Also thanks for heads up OP...haven't gotten an email Q myself in some time.

The Purex Crystals are on sale BOGO. Am I correct that the 20% off will NOT take anything off on these? I only ask because I found a ton of hangtags for them last night and it would almost be a shame to not stock up if I can make the deal work, right?

Oh wow, they actually said it can be stacked.

I emailed once asking, and they basically didn't give me an answer, just a link to the policy and replied to "read the policy" to see if it is allowed or not.

I've had cashiers claim that the machine wouldn't allow it, and then I tell them just to scan it. :D

My two main stores that allow me to stack don't care. Even the manager said if the register takes multiple %, its okay. I have only stacked 4% off a few times, though a friend did 5% once, I believe. But unless it's expiring, the last % will only take off ~20 or so, and a total waste IMO. You can however, only use (1) "xtra day discount" % off in a transaction.

sorry folks for chatting here...

I myself have stacked 3 % offs...25%, 20% and 20% and at the same store. Other day I think he just didn't want to give me discount or probably was in a bad mood.

CVS coupon policy doesn't talk about % offs. $ off $$ you can stack as long as your total is total $$. Coupon policy says 'everything else' is on store's discretion.

I can only assume it has to do with the system voiding the original amount and then adjusting for the new amount after coupons. If she takes the % off first then ever time she deducts a coupon it will void the original discount and then take of the new amount, which could add up to ALOT of voids. JMHO

yes, but the 20% will be reduced by 80 cents (20% of the $4/20)

z390z 03-08-2013 08:40 AM

You are not mistaken. If you give too many coupons/ecbs and then 20% coupon and the amount it would like to take off would bring you into negative then it won't take anything off
(it does beep, but there is no message to adjust it down to zero subtotal like with regular cvs coupons) - then on your receipt you would see a line "20% coupon xxx NOT USED"
If you find yourself in this situation, you can add some items - to bring the subtotal after 20% into positive and then rescan the 20%.

There is a fix to preventing the voids if the cashier does not press total until the end. Requires customer to be prepared and know how much ecbs they need to give.

Can the 20% off be used on crest prohealth rinse this week? spend $10 and get $5 back.
I am very low and was thinking about getting $20 worth, using $4/20, 20% off ES and 20% off email, 3-4 $1 off coupons depending on price and how many gets me to $20 and then get $10 ecb back.
Thanks

I am planning a trip for tonight with the Nexxus 2 shampoo color and 1 conditioner for $40 and the PF cream and the crest prohealth. (and then some similac if there is any in stock) I dont know the prices but I plan to get as close to $20 as I can.

Thanks for the help :)

I am guessing it's not talked about is just because they have run this Crest rinse deal darn near every week for the past few months and most people already know about it, hence the lack of discussion. The same thing can be applied to the Listerine that they run quite often as well.

Without the 20% off coupon, the Crest deal is not that hot, unless you just have to use up your ecbs. The cheapest toothpaste that is part of the deal is $3.99. There are some that are $4.99 and $5.99, so you can either do 2 of the $4.99 to get to $10 or do a $3.99 and a $5.99 to get to $10. Or you could get 5 of the $3.99 if you're spending $20. Especially not a hot deal if you don't have coupons. ;)

Thanks

You are not mistaken. If you give too many coupons/ecbs and then 20% coupon and the amount it would like to take off would bring you into negative then it won't take anything off
(it does beep, but there is no message to adjust it down to zero subtotal like with regular cvs coupons) - then on your receipt you would see a line "20% coupon xxx NOT USED"
If you find yourself in this situation, you can add some items - to bring the subtotal after 20% into positive and then rescan the 20%.

as another said, you can hand over the 20% anytime and it will still take off the same amount....in the end after adjusting for CVS coupons. What I do is know my total, know my coupons total, adjust the 4/20s for adding 20% back in (and any other cvs c/o that messes with the 20%, I think most do, but ECB beauty don't, I think I have that correct). So I have a very good idea how many ecbs I need. I hand my 4/20s first, other coupons and cvs coupons next, then I give the 20% off, then I give the ecb. If she wants the ecb before the 20% just say "no, I want to know how many ecb to give you, I need to know what the 20% off will be". If she doesn't know how the register works, tell her, tell her the register will adjust the ecb total since the 20% off was already scanned. Be nice, I tell cashiers how to do things all the time. They don't all know how coupons work. Tell them you did it before or something and be firm but nice. She may think the 20% off will give you too much if you use it before ecb.

I thought it was a great deal tonight especially since i was low on crest rinse.
I bought 4 bottles that totaled just over $20. I also bought 2 nexxus color shampoo and 1 conditioner, one pf cream, and 2 tubs of similac.

total was 140
used 7 4/20
20% es
20% email
4 $1/1 crest rinse
used $40 in ecb
similac checks
paid almost nothing and got back $45 ($20 nexxus, $10 crest and $15 pf) in ecb and will get $5 in beauty bucks

the crest by itself was $6 after coupons and got back $10 in ecb.
Thanks for the help today.

It worked fine yesterday. They are regular price, so if you have the % off coupon, it can be an even better deal. ;)

So you all have no problems using multiple 4 off 20 coupons? I see someone above said they used seven. I have only used two at one time before. I'm guess I'm scared to push it with these and then have them question them completely.

Anyone have issues with tracking today? I checked out about 11:30 a.m. Eastern, bought 1 $4.99 Crest Pro-Health and my Crest tracking didn't increase and half my EB deals are missing from the tracking on my receipt. For example, I have no BC totals, Sally Hansen is gone, GBT tracking is missing, Easter M&M's gone, Cheerios gone, etc. I do have some tracking: SoftSoap is there, so is my Crest (although missing this latest purchase), ZZZQuil is there, Maybelline is there, and a few others. My card was definitely scanned, number is at the top of the receipt. Does this mean the store was offline? I never had this happen before, but if the store was offline, wouldn't all my tracking be missing?

I bought this exact same bottle of Crest Pro-health yesterday and it counted, so my tracking for that should have increased.

All help appreciated! :)

I did one Crest Pro-Health deal this morning, tracking was fine. I don't think I'll do a second one this week. Sorry I can't be more help but, yes, the Crest deal worked fine this morning.

I pick my stores carefully, I don't use multiples at all stores I shop. I have 2 who don't care how many I use as long as they scan. I have one store where the store manager said i could use more than one as long as they scan, but i don't push my luck. Most other stores I only use one.

To do this deal you need:

1. a store that stocks Physicians Formula Skin Care items
2. An ES 20% off and an email 20% off
3. A 1.00 PF Q (from SS insert)

Buy:
20.99 PF Anti-Wrinkle skin care product

Less:
-1.00 MQ
-4.20 20% off
-3.36 20% off
---------------
-8.56
-12.43 OOP in EBs and/or cash (nice EB roll!)

Get Back:
15.00 Monthly up wyb 20.00 PF skin care

So about a 2.50 MM as well as the nice roll. Overall a great simple one item deal.

ETA also the $21 skin care items adds about BC $2 to MM total.

you can do a much better deal with the bogo coupon found on most stores that carry PF creams. :look:

Oh yes and and even a more fabulous deal if use a 4/20 or can find the product on clearance. But alas many posters have said their stores do not even carry the product and no bogo blinkies, peelies, hangtags or whatever you are talking about on the products in my CVS. Any more helpful and detailed suggestions?
