Black is available for $5 more from same seller at Amazon. $140 is a pretty typical price for this model, at least in it's, well, unlimited editions.

I remember seeing Lasonics in the basement of the local Woolworth several years ago. What I remember most about one in particular were the stickers with drawings of a VU meter and equalizer, design features that are included to some extent in this model as well. I realize that these things have a satisfied consumer demographic and nobody is making me buy one, etc., but these devices are remarkably tacky with a build quality that re-defines "hokey."

Shouldn't it be "Goldtoof Ghetto Blaster"?

definitely! nowadays there's all these portable speakers with just 5W, 10W, 20W if you really look hard, no way that sounds as good as a real boombox

Ya think? It's not a stretch that a $700 boombox sounds better than a $140 knock off. Why would you even post this? Stroking your e-penis?

You realize that each of the subs in the 777 were only 8w RMS, right?
