SweetFX pc program -- add color and detail to games

A search didn't bring up any mention of this, so...

Installing SweetFX can make the game look crazy better by pumping up the sharpness and colors and things. Here's Age of Conan.

I saw a thread somewhere the other day that had a large collection of before and after thumbnails for a bunch of different games but can't find it quickly now. Some of them don't gain much, while other games look ridiculously better.

Here's the official thread with plenty of before and afters in there. It's not the thread I'm thinking of though that had an entire page of before-after thumbnails.

meh, the sharpness enhancement is nice but i dont really care for the over-saturated colors. makes it look too cartoony.

You can tone it down. The pics are from someone's own tweaked settings.
And that's another nice thing about the program. There's a separate GUI program for it which fairly easily lets you change settings such as HDR, bloom, anti-aliasing, contrast, etc. It also lets you easily input other people's saved settings.

Oh nice, seems pretty handy then, especially for games that don't allow you to change those types of settings like bloom, hdr, etc.

Great program for the single player games. I have not used it for online play yet because it could be banable offense in the future by Punkbuster.
