I love WS, but a $90 apron.
Thanks for posting the code though.

I have this apron, it is of higher quality linen than any other they sell. Made in France, as opposed to India of China like the others they carry. Hope that info helps.

dbasch 02-16-2013 07:31 AM

In for some antique white china.

Thanks for the info, but I still think $90 is too much money for something that you wear to keep the mess off of your clothes. But hey if you want to be covered in French linen when you are in the kitchen, then go for it. I'd drape myself in velvet if it was socially acceptable.

chillylilly 02-16-2013 07:49 AM

I can't seem to add this apron in my cart, anyone having problems too?

I think it's only $15... right?

Hah, I never said I would pay $90 for it, at $15 I think it's a great deal.

Sorry if this is a repost.
I believe there is another price mistake on their Le Creuset Heritage Chef's Oven, 4 1/4-Qt Red. If you type in sku 7072457, it's $149, but if you type in 9-7072457, it's $119, and I used the 20% off coupon, plus free shipping. I bought three of them, these are usually $149.95. Hope WS will honor the price of $95 on this pot. Anyone in for this one?

Ok I bit....how u find things like this out?

decarillion 02-17-2013 04:42 AM

It's the '9' trick that often works on the WS family of websites. Just add a 9- before the item numbers--sometimes, the prices will show lower, and yes, they honor those lower prices. The 'trick' has been posted here many times before.

Opalz 02-17-2013 05:55 AM

No-go on what I wanted to get....Apparently, the 20% applies to items where the sale price ends in .99

Thanks for the find but I doubt they will ship. Their inventory system has nothing to do with their website. Last time around they accepted 1000+ orders and they had only 5.

I have received everything I've ordered from them, at those lower prices, over the last couple of years.. Granted, I haven't bought any big-ticket items from them in awhile, but all the sale stuff that showed with a lower price with the 9 prefix, showed up.

edit: of course, if they oversell the items, then they will only honor the orders they have inventory for.

You can't love WS then complain about a price of one of their items.

Notable deal is "No longer available". :(

Used the 9 trick and got the Hot Chocolate for $8 after 20% off (regularly $19.99, shows as $14.99 but after using the 9 trick it goes down to $9.99) - type in: 9-7219520.

doordiegs 02-17-2013 08:45 AM

The sauces used as the avi aren't part of the sale

I'd have a hard time (pun intended) paying 90 dollars for a french MAID :D

Put it in your cart, then replace the part before the dash with a 9 and put it in the search box.

JennyQ 02-17-2013 11:32 AM

Sure you can. They have plenty of things I love that aren't over priced, scored a great deal on a new piece of Le Creuset to add to my collection. Sure makes me love WS

WS can FO after cancelling the $65 dollar saucier.

radosti 02-17-2013 03:05 PM

For you classroom moms. Valentine's Day cupcake decorating papers, use item 9-754200 instead of the one that comes up. They go down from $5.99 to $1.99. I bought 4 sets anticipating having to make 2 sets of 20+ cupcakes next year for 2 class rooms for the valentine's day social.

Uppy 02-17-2013 04:16 PM

I do not think this is a pricing error. WS sent out emails to prior customers with a registry or notification to inform with something in stock. Per the "Special Price For You" email, it is only for a limited time and you can only access the savings through the email. If I click through the email the price is $20 cheaper than when I go to the website and search for the pot.

Looks like the OP cracked how to get the special price without the email link.
