DEAD: Norton 360 Multi-Device - Protects 5 devices - $28.99 Amazon Gold Box

2 Attachment(s)
Thought this was a good deal. $28.99 for up to 5 devices, including smart phones, Windows 8 compatible. I run it on 2 laptops, 1 desktop, 1 Android tablet, and 1 Android phone and it works great. The cell phone app is cool, letting you lock and locate your device remotely and includes malware checking. PC application doesn't bog down my machines... it does what it needs to when the machine is idle and immediately stops when I start using the computer again. Not your Norton of yesteryears.

Expires Monday 2/18/13, Amazon Gold Box Deal.

Is the only difference between Norton 360 Multi-Device and regular Norton 360 the mobile apps (and an extra two devices, I guess)?

Norton 360 comes with PC Tuneup features and if you want, free 25GB of online automatic backup. Check the comparison chart tab on this page:

Edit: sorry, thought originally you asked about NIS vs Norton 360 Premiere. Still, you can view that comparison chart :)

Looks like the only difference between 360 and 360 Premiere, according to the chart, is that 360 has 2GB of online storage and Premiere has 25GB? I'm not sure about the device limits... but this deal on Amazon is 5 devices.

there are better options like 16.99 for a 3 license. norton 360

supersteals 02-18-2013 06:17 PM

It says "usually ships in 1 to 2 MONTHS"....

electrobento 02-18-2013 06:30 PM

Wait...people still buy antivirus software these days? Why would you go and do a thing like that?

msixteen916 02-18-2013 07:09 PM

Uh oh here come the trolls....noooo

jcook740 02-18-2013 07:35 PM

More like "bog down and cripple up to 5 devices"

Nollywood 02-18-2013 07:45 PM

antivirus software gives me the placebo effect of safety, everytime I see that norton logo popup I almost immediately smile and do not regret spending the money every year to renew

Thanks, though I was wondering the difference between regular Norton 360 and the Multi-Device version (unless Premier is the multi-device?). However looking at the site, I think all it comes down to is mobile support and two more devices (regular 360 is up to three devices).

I've only paid the cost of stamps for Norton over the last five years. There are FAR deals every year.

I ordered this through a Staples price match yesterday over the phone with no problems. Today a Staples associate called me to tell me that they could not authorize the price match since on their website it now says ships in 1-2 months. Luckily I printed out a copy of the Amazon webpage at the time I called yesterday which said the item was still in stock and could be delivered in 2 business days. This is the first I've ever had a problems with a Staples price match. Next time I'll probably just order through Amazon...

I just found out from another thread. It's free if you have Comcast Internet. You can install on more than one computer. I've just downloaded and installed it today. For the past 5 years with Comcast, could of been free this whole time. :)
