GREAT deal...anything less than $0.01 a sq ft is good.

mothernature 02-19-2013 09:31 AM

Free same day shipping when you sign up for mygolfer 6 or 12 months shipping and purchase $60 worth. You have to cancel within 30 days though.

ryanmemperor 02-19-2013 09:32 AM

This is an EXCELLENT deal! .192 cents a roll after tax. tu&rep

iodi 02-19-2013 09:33 AM

This is an excellent deal except when you go to Kmart to pick up your order the CS person will bring you a single pack and then argue with you about the quantity . Then she'll agree to refund your money. Except it turns out she never heard of freaking Paypal and doesn't know how to do the refund.
After 20 minutes of frustration you leave the store with cash and a renewed hatred for Kmart employees.

This has seriously happened twice, same store, different CS agent.
Reps to the OP though.

Fletch113 02-19-2013 09:33 AM

Would be perfect if it was for the regular vs soft. Good find!

You know, I was wondering if this would happen for this deal. I won't find out until later on this afternoon but, I will try to report my experience. I did however, order towels this way last week with success.

GardeniaGoddess 02-19-2013 09:41 AM

LOL sorry to here that. I will say that every time I go to layaway to pick up an online order there is nobody there. I am always having to press the CS Button and wait. They always seem clueless when I show them my Confirmation slip. Somehow, I can't help myself for the chance of getting a good deal

NYShoppingMom 02-19-2013 09:50 AM

Just tried it. Great deal if it works. Thanks OP! :)

If you Google "scott 11972" you may hit a 12-roll package (and not "big roll"). Even then, $5/ea. is good price (less than $.50/roll).

Yep, it was socks with me too. I was supposed to get 10 prs in a pack, they had 6 prs in a pack and they also sent me to look for them on the shelf which of course being KMART they were out of them.
But how do you work in retail and not know what Paypal is about?

Good luck people, I thought this was only my local store that was so backwards.

I ordered 5. I was already going to pick up another order of something else, so I figured "what the hell". I haven't had many problems in the past picking up in store so I'll see if I have any problems today.

Yes this is what worries me. The only thing I can go by is the image next to the product. It is listed as a new item, so I am holding out hope. I will give a report once I pick it up around 4:00 est or so. Any other reports from those who pick it up sooner on what we actually are receiving, are much appreciated. :look:

12 big rolls here

yawn505 02-19-2013 10:45 AM

Got a confirmation email to pick it up. I'll report back later as to whether the deal went through or not. :)

saucypony 02-19-2013 10:46 AM

KMarts still exist? News to me!

Steve0 02-19-2013 10:50 AM

Google item number 029W004286056001 and see what you get.

You get an image of the 24 big roll package saying it's not available anymore, but see these alternative products...

...and one of them is another image of the 24 big roll package.

Something's fishy.

woodbutcher 02-19-2013 10:51 AM

Showing as OOS for pick-up and indicates not available for shipping.

Shit out of luck.

Marceille 02-19-2013 10:52 AM

Not so crappy reviews on Amazon [amazon.com] so I bought 10 for 240 rolls (women in the house :P). Thanks OP!

cpetrou 02-19-2013 10:53 AM

Just ordered mine and included the following description as the special instructions...

"Scott Extra Soft Bath Tissue Big Roll - Model # 11972 - 24 Big Rolls x 5 qty"

I actually was able to get my final price down to $9.62 for 5 rolls of the 24 Big Roll pack (120 rolls).
5 x $5 = $25 = $25 - $3.75 (TRY15 15% off) - $11.63 (Store Value Card for Sears) = $9.62

So, I guess the question that should be asked....
Is this still a deal at 60 rolls for 22.00?

Marceille 02-19-2013 11:07 AM

If these are all 12 packs, how is Kmart at returning/refunding web orders?

thumper300zx 02-19-2013 11:09 AM

Costco does 30 rolls at $14.99 -- .50 cents per roll any day of the week.

2-Ply Bathroom Tissue
425 sheets per roll
6 rolls per pack (rolls are not individually wrapped)
5 packs
30 rolls total

so

double ply 425 sheet single ply for 50 cents a roll.

vs.

single ply 260 sheet single ply for 36 cents a roll.

cpetrou 02-19-2013 11:09 AM

120 rolls of toilet paper for $9.62 YMMV

They will either cancel after you don't pick them up for 'X' # of days (depends highly on the store doing their job) or when you call/chat/email to cancel.

I've had KMarts cancel my orders after 3 days of not picking up, and others have held orders for two weeks without saying a word. Others have emailed/called after 5 days with a reminder.

leadfoot46 02-19-2013 11:10 AM

numike 02-19-2013 11:12 AM

what a mess of a website mygofer just torture!!!!

nothing2seehere 02-19-2013 11:14 AM

The pic is of the 24 pack, but it is the 12 pack at that price. When they had the 12 pack on sale for $4.97 weeks ago they had the same pic on mygofer. They will pull them by the item number and you can see that this one is different than the actual 24 pack.

Nickeyno 02-19-2013 11:15 AM

thank you & repped

mrsaturnboing 02-19-2013 11:20 AM

Not worth my time. They are in stock in my zip code, but last time I ordered and picked up in store I had to wait around 30 minutes until they could get my order straightened out. Kmart is a mess in my town. Never again.

Dave89 02-19-2013 11:28 AM

Just ordered, thanks OP

ExecPro 02-19-2013 11:41 AM

I called and they were only the 12 packs so I had them cancel the order. Not worth waiting 30 minutes for a single ply 12 packs.

Instead of spending money that will inevitably be flushed down the toilet, why not try an approach that will cost almost nothing.

Take your old t-shirts/mismatched socks etc... and cut them up into small pieces. After each use, rinse lightly and leave on the towel rack for the next person.

There's four of us in our house and we've managed to make one old t-shirt last a month.

Great for the environment, and super cost effective. The true definition of a slickdeal.

D_Nyholm 02-19-2013 12:09 PM

Wonder if Kmart will ever get their act together. Whenever I find out it is a Kmart deal, I skip it as it isn't worth the hassle to deal with their website and stores.

Even better - order 20 Big Tires to be picked up at your local Kmart. then let them sit around for however long and then they will cancel.

I did this with one of my old Apartment complexes back in the 90s. It was fun:bounce:

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard. What about after you eat taco bell? I think you would have to throw out your T-shirt squares!

The next time I feel sanitary issues are not a concern when doing #2, I'll take you up on that. Any particular reason you'd "lightly" rinse them instead of "heavily", especially when used by multiple people?

Parents have been reusing cloth diapers since time began, but even in medieval times they'd do their best to wash them.

If anyone can get a good picture of the toilet paper 24pk with the price next to it maybe we can get another store to price match.

mothernature 02-19-2013 01:07 PM

I just got my order delivered. I only got the 12 packs so I am having a conversation with Kmart.

yurmaster 02-19-2013 01:08 PM

Is this stuff OK for people with massive hemorrhoids? Or does it have small chunks of wood in it like many of the house brand ones?

mothernature 02-19-2013 01:16 PM

Amanda C: Hi How can I assist you today?

They let me have 5-12 pks for half price. They did not have 10 - 12 pks.

Didn't get them - I chose the option to pay in store, so never paid anything.

But how do you work in retail and not know what Paypal is about?

Good luck people, I thought this was only my local store that was so backwards.

7 pairs of mens briefs in a package turned out to be 5 pairs when I went to pick up.
They are the worst, bar none.

Classic... I have a cop partner of mine who once said "Why don't you guys just do like normal people and shit in the shower and squish it down the drain with your toes?" we all just looked at each other, then started talking about football. :lmao:

treesap 02-19-2013 01:44 PM

You couldn't pay me to deal with the idiots at Kmart again. I will never do in store pickup there again after what I went through over the holidays.

RachelB6231 02-19-2013 01:48 PM

So, I just got back from Kmart to pick up the order and here is my story...

Once I arrived, there in the corner sat 5 packs of 12 rolls. I said to the CSR who happened to be a manager that the web site had a picture showing 24 rolls. I was trying to pull it up on my PDA but service was slow in the store. I then asked if they could pull it the offer up on their website. They said sure, and then saw the 5.00 for 24 pic. The older lady still tried to argue with me about what her sheet said. I then said in a calm voice "Honestly, looking at the web site, what would you think you would be getting" She got quiet and replied "Well I do not buy stuff on the internet" I said "Whether you do or not, you can only look at the ad and come away with one interpretation."

Finally they called the SM and I scored the deal.Woo Hoo! So to sum it up they goofed the ad up but should honor it..... YMMV

ryanmemperor 02-19-2013 01:54 PM

If I just say, don't go pick it up. Will they refund my money?

Pretty sure they refund you after 5 days of not picking it up.

Deranged Cat 02-19-2013 02:02 PM

Coupon code not working for me. Kmart pick up has been bad for me every time... People don't know what's going on and it takes atleast 15 mins every time

playgamespool 02-19-2013 02:10 PM

is 12 rolls still a decent deal or no?

It is .42 cents a roll. You can find this price with a good sale at a grocery or drug store.

organictechno 02-19-2013 02:31 PM

I was just there and it was just 12 rolls as well. When I said I'd just leave it there til it auto-canceled they looked at me like I was stupid or something. Not worth my time to hassle with another department for zero gain.

DownSouthTyler 02-19-2013 02:55 PM

wow, what a failed deal, MODS PLZ DELETE

half of what is stated in the deal, and definitely Out of Stock (never even got to enter a zip code douche)

Don't count on it. My local Ksmeart held my circular saw for 5+ months and surprisingly I picked it up after that.

vairox 02-19-2013 03:51 PM

I just want to count how many people will go into a store to argue about toilet paper.

plin234 02-19-2013 04:20 PM

I called the mygofer 1800 number prior to going to my store. I had called the store previously and they stated it was 12 packs and not 24 packs. I asked the mygofer people if they would honor the price and they said yes. I then asked the rep to please call the store for me and talk to the manager so this would not be an issue. They did so and when I arrived at the store the manager was waiting with 10 12 packs for me and had the correct price already keyed into the computer. It was hassle free. Moral of the story is to have mygofer call on your behalf and talk with the manager so you don't need to spend 30 minutes explaining to them that the price is for a 24 pack rather than a 12 pack.

I was told by the mygofer that they will honor any order placed. I'm guessing its because they are still building up their reputation and don't want something small like this to destroy it.

No dice. Ugh. KMart is the WORST retailer! Went to the store and waited half an hour for them to say it was a mistake. Target would never do this!

Sent from Slickdeals App for iPhone & iPod Touch.

giraffenek 02-19-2013 05:26 PM

Picked up 4 12 packs...showed em website on ipad...manager exchanged 12 packs for 24 packz....

yumdogg 02-19-2013 06:38 PM

Printing the ad worked for me

So I walked into Kmart, went to pick up my order and they had 5 12 packs..... Reading the tread, make sure I printed the picture and took it into the store with me...

Well the manager only had 3 24 packs, and then he discounted 4 other 12 packs...

So still got my order of 5, and wont be buying TP for a very very long time.....:lmao:

cougnole 02-19-2013 07:20 PM

Brought out 5 12-packs. I complained that wasn't what the picture showed of what I was buying. They got the manager and after a couple minutes of twiddling his thumbs gave me the 5 24-packs.

Marceille 02-19-2013 07:49 PM

I called Kmart's contact us and cancelled, option #2 for web orders. 866-562-7848.

It took 2 calls...once for a woman to get confused and say it was cancelled when she couldn't figure out how to cancel a "processing" order, and a 2nd time to actually cancel it after it was ready for pickup at the store, which I got an immediate email confirmation of the cancelled order.

I did the same too. Chated with the rep who was very helpful. Called the store and confirmed that 20, 12 packs will be waiting.

To add to my previous comment. When I first called the store they actually cancelled my order because I refused to pay the original price. mygofer actually had them redo my order even after the website had been fixed. So for those of you that cancelled your order you can still get the deal through mygofer cause the record is still there.

IMXELITE 02-20-2013 06:45 AM

I hope people don't call kmart to cancel or check on packages. Call mygofer like others have stated they are very aware of the issue and will call the store to make sure you get the 24 pack or double 12 packs. This deal was good.

juliangtivr6 02-20-2013 02:19 PM

Got my order all set thanks to mygofer!
I wish i had more room or i would have bought all the toilet paper! Great deal, thanks OP!

I called in the morning around 9am just to make sure before going that I wouldn't have any problems. Gofer called my local store and made sure that I would be given the right amount, was even left a voicemail. I show up and this is what they try to give me .....

They thought I was crazy....the manager wouldn't even look at my confirmation email which is different from what they had in the store. Called gofer again and they said they will contact the store again and wait for another voicemail/email

edit: store manager called and made things right but forgot to use the 15% off coupon. great deal. ty op

mothernature 02-20-2013 04:21 PM

I called gofer today again about my missing 12 12 packs. Ten minutes ago, the 12 packs showed up at my door. A bit of pain but worth it for .21 a roll!

thunder2nd 02-20-2013 06:24 PM

Thanks OP! Kmart manager tried to fight me even after mygofer said that they have to honor the price.

vivwl 02-20-2013 10:13 PM

I got 7 x 24 packs, but not easy. I chatted with a gofer rep and told me that they had informed the store about this issue. I went to the store to pick up and they still gave me 7 x 12 packs. I showed them the picture and the copy of the chat. I had to do return & rebuy & adjust the price.

Rachel42 02-20-2013 10:39 PM

Hmm...so I chatted with MyGofer after reading all these comments & he told me it's all set for me to pick up my 5 24 packs...now my question it - can I use coupons when I pick them up? Lol...I have $1/1 coupons & if I can throw something on to the order putting it over $25, all 5 will double to $2 making it a really sweet deal! Or is using coupons pushing it? Haha

johnyeros 02-21-2013 05:31 AM

johnyeros 02-21-2013 05:51 AM

I chat with a REP...
I thought it was funny b/c you guys said 120 pack. and I went and only got 60. I thought it was my fault mis reading it...

I got a better one for a "true slickdeal" How about there's 4 of you when one of you take a #2, just have the other one lick your asshole afterward to clean. No need for washing or anything. Uber clean!! Of course this woudn't work if all 4 of you are doing it at one time but not many of us having 4 toilet in a house!

tbaby1fl 02-21-2013 09:20 AM

Thanks op

My Kmart was aware of the 12 or 24 issue and was told to give out the the 24 pack to make the customer happy.

Rachel42 02-21-2013 10:31 PM

Well, I didn't even ask about using coupons lol...I felt bad enough :P

I got there, they couldn't find any paper for the order & the TP was gone from back, luckily they knew they had seen the order. Manager walked me to the TP, loaded up the cart with 8 12 packs & 1 24 pack & started walking me out the door. Of course I had to stop him letting him know that I hadn't paid for them online. So then at CS...they decided to ring the 24 pack up normal price but split up the cost of the 12 packs up to get my original total. After they said that - they started at each other with a blank stare like 'How on earth do we do that?!'...Finally pulled out my phone to convince them that my math was in fact right lol. Oh well, worth it for price!

thumper300zx 03-18-2013 10:45 PM

K Mart just now canceled one of my MyGofer (for pickup) orders and refunded it to my PayPal account. Hope they had fun holding toilet paper at the back counter for a month.

PS -- 2nd Order still not canceled.

PSS: I looked at the item # on the cancelation and did a search on it on their site:

http://www.mygofer.com/scott-bath...spcOffWrap

Looks like 24 rolls to me! (even more obvious now -- no mention of 12 rolls).
