This post can and should be edited by users like you :)

97% cotton per shnoop website, NOT equivalent to costco champion boxer briefs, tags on costco are like 40% cotton, 40% lycra, 20% spandex (not exact #'s as I left without writing it down)... these are NOT the costco champion variety and more like hanes boxer briefs.

These are old stock. You can tell by the waist band.

Damn... would've been all over this had it been in my size.

FrugalBrutal 02-19-2013 10:29 PM

Costco sells three packs of these for a fair price (I don't recall how much, exactly). I love them. The only underwear I wear, now. If you're an XL, do not hesitate.

I think it'd be too big. According to the Champion underwear website (http://www.championusa.com/workou...sizing_tab), if you click on sizing, XL is for people who have a 40-42 size waist

needgeech 02-19-2013 11:39 PM

Which in reality probably means a 38 would be a perfect fit. . .a 36--just wait a few washes. . .a 42--MAYBE, and I mean MAYBE on the first wearing.

The general consensus on underwear/hybrid sizing is to add at least 2-4 inches. And it is even more true at this larger size given it includes some thigh length--unless you are thin legged even at 40" waist.

Also consider usage: if you are wearing if for sport and need the compression effect on the legs and tight hugging of you know whats for less bouncing while exercising, then stick closer to the recommendations. But if its for leisure wear, then I hope you are not hugging the jewels too tight. These run hotter on the jewels, and if you are bound too tight the effect on them is greater than wearing tighty whities

Great point about considering usage. I use the recommended sizes since I use boxer briefs for exercise. I absolutely abhor the feeling of my jewels moving around. especially while I row.

Way too big. I wear an M and they're 32"-34". I'm a 32"-33" pant size.

Way too big , XL is for a larger person or a fat ass , with waist size 38-42

skimrn 02-20-2013 07:13 AM

It's not fair. Everytime when I find super specials on clothing, it's usually for fat people and not for normal sized people!

Got a 3 pack of these at Costco... i think they are like $12. I love them and will be buying some more from Costco since I have never heard of this site and I'm going to Costco today anyways. Repped anyways

dFreezy 02-20-2013 07:41 AM

purecash123 02-20-2013 08:05 AM

how are these boxers in comparison to these by adidas

http://www.adidas.com/us/product/...ef/LB761AB

mrcoolguy209 02-20-2013 08:13 AM

I bought a 3 pack from Modesto Costco.

These are by far, the best underwear I've had. I used to wear Jockey boxer briefs but am ready to throw out perfectly good underwear because these are SO much better. They fit awesome and do not constrict at all.

I wear 33,34 waist pants and the large fit perfectly.

if you are at least 6' 3" and have a waist of 38' you are close to ideal size if you are under 6'3" and have a waist of 38" you should start on jenny Craig immediately

GitterDone 02-20-2013 08:46 AM

I'm not fat, I'm big boned!

Ram|bunc|tious 02-20-2013 08:50 AM

My favorites are the Calvin Klein button-fly boxer briefs but my 38" fast-ass willing to try these. I'm not a fan of the Jockey offerings, how do these compare to CK?

rationalspender 02-20-2013 08:51 AM

In for 3. I hope these are as good as people are saying so I can throw out all my old hanes with the comfort bands.

Thiswaytocowboy 02-20-2013 09:15 AM

i've tried a few....THE BEST for me are the Dockers boxer briefs.....they fit just right and doesn't bunch up or lose elasticity like some of these other ones.

The 3 pack in Costco is $12.99 (at least at my Costco). Even at that price they are great. All sizes S - XL (3 color sets - black set, grey set, blue set).

An interesting note is that it is not recommended to use fabric softener when washing these. The fabric softener probably effects the moisture wicking ability and perhaps odor release in the wash.

In for 1.

If I remember correctly, they also had an Adidas 3 pack at Costco for about $16.99

jd_fj 02-20-2013 10:31 AM

Costco sells the 3 pack for $20 I believe

RonDo 02-20-2013 10:34 AM

I live and die by my Calvin K's but I have one of these and they aren't bad either. May need to refresh my boxer drawer.

Samuel1613 02-20-2013 11:00 AM

let me clarify for everyone, these are 97% cotton per the shnoop website and are NOT the costco variety, (I went and checked the tags on my costco pairs) Costco are like 40% cotton, 40% lycra, 20% spandex (sorry I didn't write it down before heading to work to respond)... but these are NOT the costco variety and I am cancelling my order, these are hardly more than hanes boxer briefs.

dudernet 02-20-2013 11:12 AM

A little off topic, so I apologize for that, but while we're on the subject of boxer briefs available at Costco:

Does anyone know of an equivalent boxer-brief to the Kirkland ones that Costco has now discontinued? Those were my absolute favorite and all I wore for years, and I'm wondering if someone else is making them under a different name.

I've tried many much pricier/fancier options, but nothing seems to match the great fit I got from those Kirklands.

I noticed that earlier. Since Dec when sears had all the great deals I've switched out from cotton boxers to synthetics. They are much more comfortable and can air dry vs placing in the dryer.

I get these at costco. Wear a 36" pant and get the medium. The fit is good. They last about a year on a good day (maybe 6-8 months). After a while they do get holes in them from the wash.

Not....Costco ones are 95% Cotton 5% spandex (the old ones costco had).

The New ones they now carry are:

Costco Item # 524317

3 Champion Boxer Briefs Style A602BK

58% Cotton 37% Polyester 5% Spandex

The new ones fit better than the old and I hope last longer.

I do exactly this. When I get the Costco Champions, I go one size over. Works great.

On the other hand, for Jockey boxer briefs, it didn't work quite as well. The resulting fit is a bit too loose.

You've got your facts wrong. Classic case of newer NOT being better. Good luck with your swamp a$$ with all that polyester in the "new" design.

I can probably blame that on my wifey washing with fabric softner. The old ones with more cotton seemed to get holes in them probably where the spandex and cotton met.

The new ones seem to hold their fit better and appear more durable.

Don't keep my draws and socks for more than a year.

Wait......people keep cheap cotton underwear longer than a year? Come on......lol.....really?
:(
Are these the same people that get more than one day's wear out of them before hitting the laundry?

There should be a vomit icon. You buy cheap underwear so you are able to cycle them out of your wardrobe. *I* know what goes on down there during the course of a day (gym, sports, disagreeable diet choices, etc).....there is no way I would even WANT to keep a pair of cotton underwear longer than a few months (unless I was purposefully trying to create a bleach-proof Rorschach modern art piece out of cotton and unknown stains).

Wearing a pair of these today for the first time. So far, so good! Really comfortable and fit nicely. As our good friend Flanders once said, "Feels like wearing nothing at all... (nothing at all... nothing at all...)"

These come in second to my Under Armour boxer briefs which are fantastic but i've never seen them for less than ~$20 a pair. Not bad for a $3-$4 pair of shorts...

97% Cotton / 3% Spandex
Just FYI, these are cotton briefs, not like the champion c9 briefs and other poly style briefs.

TheBagman 03-05-2013 09:46 AM

I would buy a ton of these if they were in medium....

thikthird 03-05-2013 09:48 AM

hanes boxer briefs are the best, and they come in 6 packs for like $10 at walmart.

usacamaro 03-05-2013 09:49 AM

Sure are alot of xl slick dealers.

I'm in between a 34-36 waist , anyone think XL would be good or too big ?

Sent from Slickdeals App for iPhone & iPod Touch.

Too big. You need a large. When i wore 36, large fit fine and the XLs were too big.

asdfboost 03-05-2013 10:33 AM

will they ever sell "normal booty" size

SGTJmark 03-05-2013 10:46 AM

I just picked up some Boxer Briefs from Costco - 9.99 for a 4 pack. They're pretty nice but had trouble finding large. Lots of other sizes though.

I just did this also. They are very nice quality and a good price. Plus... Costco return policy goes on for years for these. I suspect they will last a while though.

I personally had no problem finding large. They had a bunch and different 'style patterns'. Definitely will consider these more and more.

I still get the Fruit of the Loom and hanes ones at walmart sometimes but only when they have the yellow bonus message on them indicating a pair or two extra.

Costco has 4 Kirkland Brand Boxers for 9.99$. Its better than the champion elite Brand. I tried both of them. Kirkland is better.

slmrm 03-05-2013 11:11 AM

Are there so many SDers in XL size?

let me clarify for everyone, these are 97% cotton per the shnoop website and are NOT the costco variety, (I went and checked the tags on my costco pairs) Costco are like 40% cotton, 40% lycra, 20% spandex (sorry I didn't write it down before heading to work to respond)... but these are NOT the costco variety and I am cancelling my order, these are hardly more than hanes boxer briefs.

Target sells a champion brief with no cotton, I don't like any of the cotton blend ones personally.

So... has ANYONE gotten their order? I have received no confirmation from this website and i placed the order on the 20th of Feb. All I got was receipts from Paypal.

I had ordered some on one of the last deals and I got mine. Don't remember how long it took, but at most long enough that I didn't wonder what was taking them so long.

Yes it would. I'm the same size and I wear these in Large.

oneness 03-05-2013 12:54 PM

i'll take one exofficio pair over six of these

3Wire 03-05-2013 01:15 PM

These are indeed "old stock" of 97% cotton, 3% spandex vs. their newer blend of 58% cotton, 37% polyester, and 5% spandex.

I have both types and am satisfied with both in terms of comfort and fit. Too soon to rank them on durability. An important note - both types recommend against using fabric softener in the wash (and tumble dry low).

Haven't tried the new Kirkland ones yet.

Fenriz 03-05-2013 03:04 PM

In for 1, I'll let my wife shrink them down to size.

RUsum1 03-05-2013 04:24 PM

$96 regular price????

bastage 03-05-2013 05:08 PM

Damn.. Wrong Size still...

maxvalue 03-06-2013 10:28 AM

At costco, they have a 4 pack of Kirkland Signature ones for $10.

drleephd 03-07-2013 06:51 AM

STILL waiting on my order too.
Ordered Feb 22nd.

I won't be using this merchant again.
