Their pickup window time is really annoying, though. First, the advertised 48 hours is a very short time frame. And it's not even giving me 48 hours...if I order now, I have to pick up by tomorrow night. Is anyone else having that same issue?

I never successfully get any store pick up order with these many quantity. The walgreens in my town always call and tell me that they limit the order to 4 or they just don't have.

That's not really what I would call an "issue" ... is your life so busy you can't spare to stop by your local Walgreens before they close?

For kicks and grins, I tried 3 local Pittsburgh zip codes as well as a few where I have friends and family; Columbus, Cincinnati and Detroit. Same deal for all of them.

Looks very limited on who can actually get in on this.

Have about 30 Walgreens in my area, but the only one that has Web Pickup available is a podunk town an hour away. Nice.

I think in this day and age, a 48 hour window is not reasonable for store pickups in general.

I'm glad you have a Walgreen's with store pickup close by. None of the Walgreen's within 40 minutes of me have store pick up available and I know I'm not the only one.

And my 'issue' was that it was not even giving me the full 48 hours they advertise.

Chucky, to be honest, that does sound like a valid issue to me. Who are you to question how busy someone is? I am that busy that I can't just zip out to my local Walgreens to pick up an order for a few days sometimes. Guess some people have a lot more responsibilities than others.
Also, what does "local" mean? My local Walgreens is 2 blocks from my office, but the closest one that has in-store pick-up is 20+minutes away.

People were bitching about Kmart's ineptness in filling web orders.
How hard can it be to read an order, pull it and have it waiting? Especially when they send you an email saying it's ready.

This deal is great but be careful. Most stores that do have pick up don't have "10", and the last few times I did something close to this, they were short of the quantity, and did not apply my $5 off $20, so I got stuck with product that was almost the same price had I have gotten in store.

It's great, if you can pull it off, but dont be surprised if the store is out of stock, low on stock, doesn't apply the $5 off $20. I ended up having to return my past orders, and that in itself was a complete headache. I just dont bother with web pick up now, it's flaky.

I don't get Walgreens, I have two Walgreens near my house and their web pickup are not available. I need to drive like 9-mile each way to get this deal. Gas is expensive in Southern Cal and no wonder they're losing business to Walmart/Target/CVS. :mad:

Hmmm, no web pickup within 80 miles of the capitol city of the great state of california, even though we have a brand spanking new walgreens right up the street from my house.

I just picked up 11 with confirmation. Yay!

Stopped at Walgreen's on the way home, picked up 8 bottles of Purex for ~$16.xx. Not as good of a deal as some others got with the web pickup coupon, but IMO $1.99 (reg 5.79) is still a great deal.

That sucks. I have a Walgreen's just down the street from me (within a mile) but the closest location with web pickup is across the state line in Leawood. That's at least 30 miles away.

Walgrees HIGHLY inflat their prices compare to other drugstores for product not on sale. The stores are not even nice even when it is brand new. I wonder why people even go there.

I agree their stores aren't nice. I've never liked them. First time I've been in a Walgreens in probably at least a year or two was to get the Purex.

As far as the pricing goes, I would say they're around average. CVS is $6.49 for the same bottles. This deal made it cheaper than even Sam's Club ($14/312oz), so I'm ok with that :)

It is very telling that in the entire state of Illinois -- the home state of Walgreen's -- there are only 2 stores that have web pickup.

There are *none* in Wisconsin, and there is a Walgreens on practically every corner around here.
