Teva makes some quality products I own a pair of their Fuse-ion's - The amount of compliments I've received isnt as good as explaining the science underneath the shoe. I cant rave about them enough, they are like wearing glue compared to chucks t's.

Edit: Ironically after re-watching this video I googled the shoe's found them for $49 and bought them again in bungee color. (I just SD'd myself)


But if you're in the market for a hiking boot the North Face hedgehogs I shared the other day have better technology but cost $30 more than the Teva's.

Wow, this is an awesome price. I have the mid-cut version of these.

These use E-Vent, which is one of the most breathable waterproof fabrics out there (moreso than Goretex's lines).

The drawback of these is that because of the synthetic uppers, theyre not as durable as ones with leather uppers, so they may not last as long. But you'll probably be happy with them while they're still going.

I have them, took them for a spin up the Alps last year, pretty good shoes. A bit wide for my slim feet but nothing that can't be fixed with thick socks.

This deal is not for everyone....The sale price is only sizes 7 to 9 and 10 and 11. Any size other than that is still $77 or $109.95

Some of the sizes that are not available with Amazon are expensive and with about $6 shipping.

Keep in mind that many reviews claim that these run about 1/2 size small...never owned this brand, so dunno. But it works out well for me since I'm normally a 10.5, I'll just get the 11 and save ~$65 (10.5 are $109!!!)

Seriously... I normally wear 8.5. I have a pair of Teva watershoes that are sz 8 though, so I figured I'll give that a shot for these as well. In fact, I ordered a sz 8 and sz 9 just to be safe. Considering shipping and return shipping are free, why not?

I have the boot version of these. Very well made and stylish shoe. Luckily there's a teva outlet in town with crazy cheap prices and i snagged them for 15 bucks.

Most of those brands are out of my price range and need, but it's nice to know which are the best. Having owned a few pairs of Teva, Keen and Columbia boots, I'd still say that Teva's are closer to Keen's then Columbia's.

update: Actually, what I'm looking for is a low-cut hiking shoe that's waterproof and has a stiff sole. I don't want one that's a mid-cut and most low-cut hiking shoes are really nothing more then trail shoes (Sometimes I prefer trail shoes, but they're not always padded or stiff enough.) I have a pair of Keens that fit this description, but, ironically, they're too low and have too much insulation.

I also ordered a pair, but later I cancelled the order. The reviews say they run small and narrow, anywhere from a half a size to a size and a half. STP recommends ordering a half size larger, but it was just too much risk for me.

i'll try to see if i can find a place with teva boots around. i doubt they have this particular one though... are all tevas half size smaller or just this one?

I spent a lot of time reading about them today and then decided to take a chance on ordering one size larger, which seems to be the most common recommendation. Among the dozens of reviews I went through, one person said they ran big, a few said they were true to size, but most said that they ran anywhere between a half to two full sizes too small. Like I said, one full size seemed to be the most common recommendation, so I'm crossing my fingers and will sell them on eBay if they don't fit.

I've seen people say that Teva's tend to run small, but I can't say for certain. Of the 2 pairs that I own, the one that fits great is actually a half size smaller then I normally wear, but the other one is too small, even though it's my regular size. I think it probably has more to do with inconsistent sizing.

You might try contacting STP to see if you can still change or cancel your order. I used their text chat to cancel my earlier order and it couldn't have been easier.

i just got back from sports chalet where i tried on 2 TEVA hiking shoes (lowtops) and their sizes were both smaller than other shoes at the same size. i'm gonna try to change the order to 1/2 size larger via chat. wish me luck...

I'm sorry to hear that. From what I've read, it seems like these fit smaller then most other Teva's, so you might even need to go up more.

If you can exchange them, you're still receiving a pretty good deal, minus the return shipping charges. I'd wait until the others arrive to try them on first, though.

Well, I got mine yesterday and going up one full size is exactly what I needed. They fit perfectly and would be too small if they were any smaller.

They're also very comfortable and have a fairly rigid sole, so I'm very happy with them.

i just reordered and received 1 size up (from 8 to 9) and they seem like the right fit. it's a tiny bit long but i don't think it will be an issue. i bought it with a 30% code they emailed me for subscribing to their mailing list, but there was a 40% code couple days later i wish i waited for... maybe next time there's a 40% coupon, I'll buy another pair as a back up cuz $30 would be pretty slick!
