Keep Unlimited Data with Verizon Upgrade

I'm on a plan by myself with Verizon, currently due for an upgrade. It appears my options are either A) pay "full" price for new phone B) pay $20/month more and now have limited data C) don't upgrade. I don't find any of these to be acceptable, and I know you guys are crafty. I've chatted up CS and they won't help. Even if I could sell or give away my contract, switching carriers isn't really an option as no one else has 4G around me.

How do I beat them?!

I bought my own used Samsung Galaxy Nexus, paid about $180 for it on Ebay. It was an upgrade to me since I had a Droid X and there is a huge development community for the device, so there is always an OS upgrade for it. I just flashed to Android 4.2.2 yesterday.

I guess I'll stick to my Thunderbolt for now and hope we get lucky with some special offer that pops up. At least it FINALLY got upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich. No way I'm committing to another two years at that price though. When these next 10 months are up maybe Sprint will have 4G here in Gainesville and I can make the switch. And who knows, maybe when the contract is up and I can really commit to leaving they'll be accommodating.
