where is the coupon?
Free after rewards is not as good as free after rebates which is not as good as free but still not a bad deal |

Can someone please confirm they are getting rewards each week they do the 5 ream. Thanks so much - great donation!!!!

I purchased this last week .
After rebate it's $4.99 . Price match? |
I've done this deal 2 weeks in a row and got rewards both times. I'm going to wait until the end of the week to do it again so it posts for March, since my reward check for February is getting quite large because of it.

For me, FAR is as good as free, since I monitize my rewards. Staples makes that whole process so quick and painless.

Also, I think it can be combined with the 20% off coupon, since the 5 pack doesn't ring up as a "case", based on info from last weeks deal. If the Q works, it means less upfront OOP, and still free in the long run.

I was under the impression that Staples Rewards NEVER roll, and you always have to use cash/credit and/or one of those Staples VISA rebate cards in order to get 100% back in rewards. I have never had a problem monitizing my rewards. ;)

Where is the $5 coupon? I see the cutout that says "Free after rewards and with coupon." Is that the actual coupon? Thanks.
|
i don't shop in staples that much so almost all rewards i earned over the years expired unused. rewards to me are just like product costs not rebates.

If your Staples store accepts OfficeDepot coupon, use the 30% off coupon at http://slickdeals.net/f/5872944-O...ions-Apply to reduce OOP cost and amount of Staples Rewards you will get back.

I have questions with Staples experts:
If i got premier in september 2012, when it will change to other status if i not spend the $1000.00. Thanks |

If you're getting 2, remind you cashier that the coupon needs to be scanned twice. Some cashiers don't bother to read the coupon.

1. Rewards do not roll on rewards items. Don't use rewards to buy rewards items. Use rewards on Free After Rebate items. This way, when you buy FAR item and submit rebate, you get check (cash) for the amount of item. So in the end, you get initial Reward Item and Rebate item later for FREE. Now, when you buy rebate item with a coupon (e.g. $10 item for $5 after coupon), you still get $10 back. Hence, it makes you money. 2. You don't pay tax on items paid with rewards. Rewards ARE considered as coupons. Staples taxes you on final amount you owe, after all coupons. So if you buy everything with Rewards, you don't owe any taxes. More so of a money maker. 3. All the spends you do (except ones with rewards), qualify for Premier account. Staples, IMO, is one of the best stores you can ever shop in. EVER. Just start to read and ask questions. You will be helped and happy. |

Is this a weekly limit of 2 or throughout the promotion of 2? The sign in store isn't specific and I already purchased this last week.

so if I buy 2 cases, I pay $40 - $20 rebate - $20 rebate = $0?

if I buy 2 cases, I pay $40 - $20 rewards - $20 rewards = $0 You would then need to buy something FAR ( free after rebate ) to get your money back. |

thanks guys. |

Think the mods changed the title making it hard to find when it went FP. |
bought 2 cases every week for past 3 weeks and rewards all show up, going to keep buying if they keep giving away paper.
|
When you give the cashier the coupon it will deduct 5 bucks off.

You Staples gurus really have no idea how confusing you all can make the Staples Rewards Recycling program out to be, especially when you start introducing math into a thread to entertain ideas on how to maximum rewards. (YOU, you know who you are, have wasted so much of my time reading your elaborations on deals past.) All you ever need do is pretty much outline the rules as ToadKilla did above (read a good thread/wiki on FW, BTW) and let each/every SDer do their own damn math, but better yet...why not have them watch a simple instructional video to solidify the "Staples deal" (aka; 'criss-cross') concept in their minds? Watch HERE [youtube.com] and learn the art of 'criss-cross' Staples-style from hereon out. That said, much respect and appreciation from a new (at least towards Staples) Padawan learner here. |

Use the 20% off everything in the bag to make it a MM Also. Total Defense Premium / Unlimited (if you haven't done it already). Both are mail in rebates (not easy rebates) |
I went to Staples the other day with the coupons for this deal, I have to end up giving it up in the end.
They gave you the look that: you are cheap. Staples needs to train them well, don't unleash like that. For now, I probably just pay for Costco paper. I have to admit that I am a coward. |

BTW, are you premier? IIRC, Staples sends out emails for expiring rewards for premier members. Have never gotten to that point. When the thieves were stealing rewards checks I was cashing them out within minutes of issuance via online orders. Thankfully, the theft has stopped with the new system of generating those codes. |

Last week I bought the paper and the Lysol wipes in the same transaction. I thought I would be fine since they are both rewards items and I paid them cash.
The 5-ream paper coupon took off 4.99 to make the paper "free after rewards", but according to my awards account, I didn't get full rewards credit for the wipes. A % of the paper coupon shows like it went to the wipes as well. :( Just posting this to warn others not to loss part of their rewards this way as well since it is the same coupon out this week. |

Great timing. I had a $10 off $20 coupon that Staples sent to me a month back, had nothing to buy and it would have expired today. Saved another $5 dropping price to $15 and get $20 rewards. Thanks OP.

This may have been already answered. I read somewhere that this is the same promotion every week. In other words, if you bought it last week and you buy again this week that counts towards your limit because it's the same promotion running through 3/2. Can you buy two cases every week?

Hi Staples Experts,
I saw the deal on forum last week. http://slickdeals.net/f/5863888-S...reat-Deals And I happily bought this "100% back in rewards on 3 Lysol wipes item#501741" Now I can see the purchase detail in my Staples Reward account, but can't see any "Rewards Earned". I attached the pic I see in my Staples Rewards. Can any Staple expert help to answer my question? Any recommends are welcome. Thanks a lot, |

Thanks for your reply. I think I'll keep it, too lazy to return. It's good to know that I didn't do anything wrong on getting reward. I'll try it again next time. Thank you again. :) |

Hi,
If I use the same credit card to pay two rewards accounts purchase , does this trigger the system to merge the two accounts? or their system is not that smart? Thanks. |
