Rebate out now, BUT promo is tomorrow.
 

I bought liquor from Safeway.

On the neck of the bottle, was a rebate promo card.

So, I buy the liquor thinking I'm going to claim the rebate.

Guess what? The rebate promo doesn't begin until tomorrow. I already began dranking.

I know I should have read the rebate.

That ever happen to anybody, and did you try to fight it? They shouldn't be putting that promo out there in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if it was intentionally done.

what i did when i got denied a promo as it was not good in california but alas there was a rebate for it i told the store and they reimbursed my rebate amount so try that and see it it works or not, good luck. how muck was/is the rebate for by chance?

What's the liquor?

$1.50. This was about a month ago. I sent in for the rebate anyways.

If I'd had known while still in the store, I would have returned the purchase.

I know, I should cap the rebates I go for, to no less than $5, even $5 sometimes feels like a waste of time and effort; I guess it depends on the product too.
