Smoking hot deal.

Normally $250 on Amazon - http://amzn.com/B0025VKUPM

clemsonugrad 02-26-2013 11:25 AM

The heading at Buydig says it comes with the heart rate monitor, but in the "Box Contents" description it does not list a heart rate monitor. Also, someone submitted a question regarding the heart rate monitor, and someone answered that it does not come with the heart rate monitor. Anyone order this from Buydig before?

duckzor 02-26-2013 11:28 AM

bump it

m00ky 02-26-2013 11:30 AM

The part number they have listed corresponds to the bundle package for this watch, which does include the heart rate monitor. Whether or not the part number correctly corresponds to the item they are selling, your guess is as good as mine.

EDIT:

Someone updated the listing and it DOES include the HRM! Slick for sure.

clemsonugrad 02-26-2013 11:58 AM

Am I losing my mind or did someone update the listing at BuyDig? It now says it comes with a "Premium Heart Rate Monitor" in the box, which I could've sworn wasn't there before. Maybe someone from BuyDig is monitoring this thread! Oh well, what the heck - in for one to replace my aging Garmin 305.

You're right, I'm wrong, they DID update it. Definitely a slick deal with the HRM!!

animalj7 02-26-2013 12:25 PM

I'm in too. Don't forget to check for cashback offers too...

z2tHaShiZzY 02-26-2013 12:37 PM

In for 1 to replace my 201 lol.

lzboy 02-26-2013 01:36 PM

This is a good price, but I will hold on for a 910XT since most of my water training is in the pool anyway.

Great price on a great device! I got a refurb last Sept for more than this.

Here are two options if you want to sync with the web or mobile phone.

I use this to sync with RunKeeper:

If you prefer Nike+:

In for one!

timmy17 02-26-2013 02:40 PM

Does it calculate your calories burned?

Yes it does.

dingalpha 02-26-2013 02:58 PM

in for 1.

I will resume my daily running in 2 weeks, right after Insanity workout. 210 or 610 may be better for pure runners, but this price is so good.

Thanks, OP

MiCantare 02-26-2013 03:04 PM

I was looking for a deal on 310xt until last night but since I couldn't find anything, decided to get a 305 from Ebay. The price is really good.

thewakeboarder 02-26-2013 03:11 PM

I currently use an armband with my phone and use the "Runkeeper" gps app to record and log my runs. It also allows me to listen to music on the same device. I recently did an 11 mile run and while I'm sure it wasn't perfect. The app seems to work pretty well and it is free.

Other than the addition of logging the Heart Rate Monitor with your workouts. What might be the other benefits of this device over the free one I use weekly?

me too, I'm really considering the 210, I'm a pure runner. but this price is very tempting, don't like the size, color and weight but the price tops them all. still thinking.

pauln119 02-26-2013 03:28 PM

For short distances, your method works fine. For longer distances such as Marathons and beyond, your phone battery will not last that long.

Yes it can. They use a website to collect and store your run data. You can then distribute it to just about any social outlet you can think of.

Replacing my beloved 305. Thanks! Great deal.

eadejesus 02-26-2013 04:48 PM

My 305 still works and I love it. However, the battery doesn't last as long. I am oh so tempted to get this. How long does the battery last on the 310XT?

macross2ii 02-26-2013 05:13 PM

The 310 battery last 20 hours, more than enough for an ironman.

I passed on upgrading to this 310, because it's like having a huge computer on your arm. Great price though.

I did this with my Forerunner 110 that cost $99 last summer. Also decided to get the heart rate monitor a few weeks ago from Amazon. I upload to Garmin Connect and import data into Google Earth. This is my trek around the San Diego Comic-Con last summer. Total mileage was around 7 miles that day.

I run, swim, and cycle. I sold hundreds of GPS/HRM on ebay. I tried them but decided that the technology was mostly a waste of time and money. Maybe for some it's a psychological crutch or a motivator. No need to over-analyze your sports ... Just do it!

XtraCrispi 02-26-2013 10:39 PM

"Not available" :-(

Natosports 02-27-2013 08:50 AM

Well said! I saved $189 bucks today!
