3.0 usb hub and backlit keyboard
 

I dont want to plug to many usb things into my laptop so looking for a powered usb 3.0 hub. Hopefully something like 7 ports. (less than $30 shipped/tax etc.). I have a fullsize keyboard now and my desk has somewhat changed. Looking for something smaller but also backlit. All the keyboards I have seen and like say Mac only. Looking to spend less than $60 on that.

I don't know of any "mac only" keyboards.. pretty sure 99.999% of usb keyboard will work with windows. and 99.9999999999% of ps/2 keyboard will work if the computer has a ps/2 keyboard port

Cool on the keyboard. Cant always trust the tech person at the store. Maybe drivers?

the keyboard part will work - now if it's a special keyboard with something like programmable buttons or a mini screen (logitech g15/19), then the keyboard part will work, but the other stuff will depend on drivers - backlit keys shouldn't require drivers.. although some do have software to control them as well (to choose any color of back-lighting that you want for example)

can you can post what exact keyboards you are looking at?
