They have these codes on the Borderlands 2 Facebook page all the time. Just subscribe to it and you'll get new codes occasionally.

All you have to do is add a player two (split screen/ local) to your campaign and the second player will always be given 10 new golden keys each time you play with two players. Open the box, take all the weapons for yourself and then restart with your one player campaign with your new weapons. Works every time.

Perfect, I just grabbed the game off the xbox sale when it was going for $30; redeemed about 26 golden keys in total

Are the items you get in the box exactly the same level as you?

I haven't played too much in the game but I believe so, the higher the level you are the better the loot the golden key message that pops up in game states

The items scale to your level.

Not to sound snobby, but does anyone care about purples anymore?

does the exploit on pc still work, where you replace one of the config files and get 255?

Not sure about that, but you can make the profile file read only and use up all your keys and then uncheck the file and reset the keys.

What platform?

I play on a PS3. Don't know if it works on PC or xbox.

Wouldn't the weapons that the second player if always new, gets be level 1 along with him? Or does it scale to whomever is running the game?
