I highly recommend Premium if you even play it just for a few hours. I've only put like 8 total hours in the base game, got this, and put 5 hours right away on the expansions. It's so much fun. And End Game, the last expansion, is coming out this month which will have an all out Air battle game type! (Of course this depends if you have people to play it with since, IMO, a lot more fun with others you know).

I got BF 3 premium edition 2 or 3 months ago for the 360 from Amazon for 30. At the time a lot of places had it for $5 cheaper than that but I was a little late. So is what this is being offered now everything the premium edition offers minus the game itself? I checked the BF3 premium prices and they are back up in the $50 neighborhood, so is this why there are a lot of thumbs up?

I tried getting the base game + premium a couple of weeks ago at $30 at greenmangaming but it didn't accept my transaction. When I was finally able get my bank to authorize the transaction the sale had ended. :(

The best part is that those cheap bitches can't eject from their jet as they're about to go down in Air Superiority! Stay put you friggin ninnies and let me get the kill like I should!

I'm not a fan of Capture the Flag but Air Superiority is awesome.

That game was great until EA did the big "Cash In"
Selling all the upgrades, and renting all the servers to idiot kids that wanted to play 2 hours long games.
Took all the fun out of it for an occasional gamer that wanted to pop on for a quick 15 minutes game.

Fire up the time machine! I got it for 360 for $30 on Thanksgiving day (Amazon), and $30 for PC shortly before Christmas (Target).

Yeah, it's worth it IMO. For what it's worth, I really don't like the Armored Kill pack, but I really like the Close Quarters and Aftermath packs (dislike Markaz Monolith with a passion though :lol:). Plus you get access to other weapons like the crossbow. It's fun and super challenging.
Just search "Dice" to get a normal server.

Or use specific criterion to search for servers. Read the rules, get a feel for the admin, play on it...favorite it, return later. I automatically skip all the ones with stupid rules like "NO SHOTGUNS, SNIPER RIFLES MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 7x SCOPE, C4 ONLY ON VEHICLES" etc etc etc :hug:

Had to install the GameStop client to redeem the code. Another utility to tell Windows not to launch at startup... Nice price for the Premium features, though! In for one! Picked up the base game a couple weeks ago on another sale (Amazon, with the 25% off CAG coupon).

Extremely unlikely if used. It might have the code, but it will be 'used'. The only place I know where used games have valid codes (speaking from experience) is gamefly. They guarantee it. Good luck.

Um.. so I'm pretty sure I ordered this, and after the checkout page, it says to allow a day for processing. Usually when that happens, something still shows up in order history, but nothing has. Anyone has any suggestions?

Meh getting away from EA with how they became such a shitty company. Ever since they left steam the have gone down hill. People need to see how money grubbing EA has become and they are not really there for the users any more.

They made Origin which always had problems, they complain about steam sales saying that it de-values the games, then trying to copy the steam holiday sales ( but instead only $5-$10 off).

Now the DMR is crap where you have to be online to play a game, so when the servers go down that means you can no longer play the games. EA also never really keeps their servers up long due to they don't let the public host servers, most their games last 2-3 years sometimes 1 year.

Yes, they do. But you have to download their app to retrieve it. You will be given the option to install it with their 'PC Downloads' app, or get the product code -- which can be redeemed and then installed with Origin.

Add to cart, checkout, install their crappy app, retrieve the code, redeem in Origin, uninstall Gamestop app.

... not sure how that's EA's fault. Games have been having a ton of sales for years. Not EA's fault that you didn't wait on it or didn't make the most of your early purchase.

I need this for PS3. PSN is offering $10 off every $50 spent but that's the best I have found so far.

It isn't really possible to defend EA. I like Steam a lot for it's convenience. Steam is better than Origin, but both are DRM. Neither Origin or Steam actually let you own the game. While I don't defend EA, Origin has been pretty good in general for me. I do get a bug sometimes where BF3 won't start for me.

This is absolutely the case where an EA sports game comes out. In a year, not that many people are playing it. EA releases the next year's game, and everyone buys it. The old servers for the old game get shut down.

At least BF3 is a decent game. Terrible design decisions and many flaws with the game, but it has a skill curve and isn't the dumbed-down mess that CoD has become. And BF3 actually has servers, though not with full features or mods. I hate dedicated servers to some degree because of bad admins ("hackers", power trip) and the cost involved to keep one running.

Everytiime i see these deals i wish i could get it, but it requires windows 7, i'm stuck on xp which works fine for me, only games i've ran into that i cant play are just cause 2 and this one. Just about all of the games i play work fine on xp so not gonna upgrade just for 2 games, good deal for everyone thats able to get in on it. I'm stuck with xbox version for now.

BF3 is a good game don get me wrong but does it really need the weapon packs, so many dlc maps, ect to get ea money. Dedicated servers would be better look at CSS vac ban would keep the hackers out, and with admin ect you just dont go to that server if you dont like it. There are really bad admins on BF3 servers now to be honest.

Due to BF3 servers not being dedicated you will see less and less when the new game comes out and eventually you will not be able to play it online, look at BFBC2 there was 100 of servers 2 years ago, now you can hardly find 10. So in the 4 years down the road that $100 game you invested in you can not play online any more.

I fell EA doesn't care about the Gamers any more and more about getting money.

I think I wait a little longer. Have a feeling price will drop even more in a couple of months.

This deal is only for the PC version of the game. There was an awesome deal I think last year when the in-game store for BF3 PS3 allowed you to buy BF Premium for free. After the mess up EA allowed anyone who bought to free to keep their purchase.

SICK ! i almost bought this the other night from origin..it was $40 instead of 50....but i fell asleep. I went to theit site today and its full price. I came back here...did a search and BAM!! saved even more money. Downloaded stupid gamestop just to get my CDKEY and inputted into origin and uninstalled gamestop.

Okay I was able to purchase, redeemed the code and did the install. The client shows up as premium but every time I try to log into a server with a new map it "stops working". The other base maps work fine. Anyone else with this problem? Better yet any solutions?
