Also *
I received a email from Sears shop your way rewards....spend $599 on a appliance and get $100 in points to use within one week
***Better yet***
Go into store for what you want to buy, don't buy it but instead ask for the salesman to email the specs on that item. You will receive a coupon for $100 off you next appliance purchase in your email. Just make sure it's not a email linked to any of your shop your way accounts

Good luck

received the same email as you, on the fence now whether i should jump on it or not. do you know if this promotion can be stacked with the FF sale 25% in points? Also, do I understand you right that the trick with the email works independently of the SYWR points promo? TIA

Can you remember how soon the points were posted. Was it automatically posted after purchase? None of my points were posted until I had called them. Thanks for any help.

The $100 in points offer says: "Points are applied at checkout upon purchase of a Home Appliances item. This offer cannot be combined with other Points offers."

So I am thinking this one wouldn't work with this 25% extra savings weekend, but who knows. It doesn't seem quite right. So if you chose the 15% off you can use the $100 but if you use the 25% in points you cannot. I doubt SYWR CS would know either. About all you can do is try and if it doesn't work then ask SYWR for the 100K.

The 25% in points or 15% savings also says "Offers not combinable." So maybe the 15% off wouldn't work in combination either. Just read further and it also says "Not to be used with any other coupon." so it looks like a no go.

It would be sweet if you could combine these all with the $100 off email coupon. I may go in and try to get one of those.

Anyone know if the email coupon is a single or multiple use? Last year I used the movers coupon several times but that is no longer valid and it doesn't look like they have another one.
Also, are the 25% in points codes one time use as well? It is not clear to me.

Emailed coupon is coded. One time use...dosnt matter becasue if you need more just ask the sales people. they had a stack of print offs from the register and they want the sale for commisions.

I just signed into my Shop Your Way and the $100 off appliance coupon was on the front page of it.

If you purchased something last month, you might have gotten one printed with your receipt. The $15 off clothing expired on 3/3/13, but the $100 off appliance expires tomorrow. So you can use it. Dig your receipts if you bought something there recently. Image attached.

I tried using SAVENOW and the $100 off appliances over $599 just now and their website refused both. The code is no good on hot water heaters, they have no discount on hot water heaters. I guess it may be good on appliances that have inflated prices.

yeah, this is just another Sears scam. i can't get the $100 off even though i got the email.

Sears reps say call the rewards people and the rewards people say call sears.

this company sucks. they should just go all the way and just change their name to k-mart.

I got the $100 off $599 or more as well as 70,000 points to be used post purchase for paying $70 for delivery. But I bought the appliance last weekend which was as far as I knew when it was valid, the $100 off $599, not this weekend.

I also got an additional 5% off and use the $35 off $300 coupon. I paid $150 less than MSRP including tax and delivery and basically got a 70+ in store credit.

SolidGun 03-10-2013 10:24 AM

What is 25% in points? Does that mean I get 25% of the cost of the appliance into equivalent amount to spend later in credit?

any good fridges on sale with promo's?

Flyingboat 03-10-2013 01:33 PM

I purchased an appliance for $750 and the $100 off coupon emailed to me worked to bring it down to $650. I also received the 25% in bonus points but I have not received the 100K points for redeeming points. I have a call into SYWR and they are investigating. (FYI I paid for the entire purchase except $5 using pionts.)

I was able to get the bonus points plus 100K points for a Roadhandler tire purchase, but I needed to call in to have them apply it. That one they were able to apply right away. I called the 800 auto department back and was able to get them to apply AUTO40 to that order as well so I received another $40 off. (SYWR wouldn't apply the $65 in reward points option in combination with the $100 so I called back and got the $40 off instead.)

Ended up getting 4 roadhandler tires for $55 total (not a piece) after subtracting off points earned and also by also using discounted gift cards and going through AA portal.

Here are the three coupons I received on friends/family night yesterday. Use them if they fit your needs...

Flyingboat 03-13-2013 04:08 AM

SYWR got back to me and told me the $100 back in points is not valid during F&F, so no go on getting it combined with the $100 off email coupon and 25% in points. Still deciding if I should keep the W&D each bought separately with the $100 off and 25% in points. I was hoping to get the $100 in points stacked as well but knew it was a bit of a long shot.

By combination of GC and portal with the $100 coupon and 25% in points I did end up getting these $800 items for $400 in points for one and $350 in cash for the other. (When I use points I am not using GC so no extra discount and therefore costs me a bit more. Though when using points there is no tax charge, so there is still a 7.25% savings using points.) I would have liked to have used points for the dryer purchase too, but I bought it using my Son's account because the $100 in points was one per account. Had I known they wouldn't follow through on it, I would have bought it on my account where I currently still have $1600 in points to use. Since I have bought pretty much everything I need, I may need to find a way to flip these into something I can sell in the next year before they expire. (I have accumulated $6.6K and used $5K points in the last 3 months primarily by flipping great TV deals on craigslist along with appliance purchases.)

The W&D would just be gifts for my daughter. Maybe it would decrease her operating costs on her old set, be nicer to use, maybe less maintenance cost (not sure about that with new electronics versus very old W&D), and could probably sell her old working set for something as well.

Does anyone have a receipt showing the 25% back in points as well as the $100 off 599 appliance purchase? Neither one was applied to my washer and dryer order. I placed the order on 3/11, followed all the rules, and have been calling sears and shop your way rewards daily since. While placing the order, the $100 off should have been instant, but I couldn't get it to apply when redeeming points, so I called Sears and SYWR. Sears told me to deal with SYWR and SYWR told me to call Sears. I placed the order hoping that I could simply call afterwards and get it to apply. No luck. I currently have only 1% back in rewards on a $2500 purchase, and SYWR's new story is that I qualify for the 25%, but there was a 'glitch' in the system and it may take 30 days to rectify it. Of course I will be stuck with huge appliances after the return period, if they don't follow through.

You read my note, correct? Kind of good to know they are saying to you it was a glitch. What they told me is that both programs don't qualify. I got the 25% in points and therefore would not receive the $100 in points. Oh, maybe you are talking about the emailed $100 off email. Not the $100 in points?

gxcue1 03-14-2013 06:51 AM

I was talking about an email offer that I got:

"FREE $100 IN POINTS To redeem on your Sears Home Appliances purchase of $599 or more"

That should have been instant and valid with the 25% back in points, right?
