2011 T30 model, yes.
2012 T50 model, no.
Works fine with my TC-P55GT30.

thiniel2535 03-17-2013 08:23 AM

will this work on the panasonic st50??

samzee71 03-17-2013 08:41 AM

i bought these for 19.99 in december.. now, all the stores in my area are oos.. seems bb is clearing these..

Baguda 03-17-2013 10:24 AM

I bought an extra pair of these glasses for $19.99 with my $100 PS3 3D monitor on BF. Unfortunately it's way past the PM time frame (60 days for me), and I can't see any point in having a 3rd pair of these glasses even at this lower price. It's not like I'd ever watch a 3D movie with a bunch of people on a tiny 24" monitor.

I also once wasted over an hour trying to get Simulview to work with Motorstorm Apocalypse on the 3D monitor and these glasses, searching for instructions on Google, and I finally gave up.

No joke. Best $50 monitor ever!!!!! I listened to all the bashers saying that it would break in 2 days and I stupidly paid for the extended warranty. Mine hasn't had a hiccup since I got it.

If ready, yes. If built in IR, No.

3D ready. I believe you will need an emitter. Not fully sure.

Where did you find for $600?

Akarin 03-17-2013 05:59 PM

with they way they price things (and so many ends up on SD recent days), they are sure going to beat analyst estimate on their next earning reports.

You need the 3D emitter only. You can buy cheap on ebay. There should be a plug on the back of the 738 series that says 3d emitter. It will have a somewhat long cable and 3 little bulbs that emit the signal. You will also need 3d active shutter glasses. Mitsu or Samsung DLP should work as well.

Was reading that this model got an update that will let you use the dlink glasses but you can buy the ir emitter and use it also. So I will have to check what is cheaper.

Shane369 03-17-2013 06:32 PM

Thanks OP. I've been in the market for another pair of cheap but reliable 3d glasses for my ST30

Cell323 03-19-2013 03:12 PM

I picked up my order yesterday. Damn I'm so glad I did. The 3d looks great! I had never tried it before on my tv.

I just ordered another pair lol!

it was okay while it lasts. mine broke out of the blue last week and thanks to the extra warranty, geeksquad swapped it with another 23" ips HP monitor. Should have asked for a 27" since this is a "downgrade" lol

Rather than get the warranty, I bought two! Got the 2nd pair of glasses and traded one game back into BB for $22. Neither of mine have had any issues. [knocks on wood] Boxed up the second one as my warranty after 3 weeks of steady use. :)

All my stores showed unavailable as well. Stopped by to pick up something else and they had 10 pairs on the shelf. Call and check stock before you go. They are also ringing up at $15.99 in store so you will need to price match. Thanks OP!

How did you get it for $50, I thought they were $100?

My box was scratched. BB comped me $50. It was actually cheaper than $50 since I traded in the game for like $20 or so.

Wow, congratulations.

I was able to get two at $100 each, one is being used with PS3 and the other one is still unopened.

Cell323 03-21-2013 02:55 PM

I bought another set of 3d Glasses, This new one came with a carry pouch bag. If it hadn't been for this new purchase I would have not noticed this on my original order, at least not at first.
