Gillette Fusion Cartridges (works on Manual or Power) $2.10 ea or $1.89 ea (+tax)

1 Attachment(s)
Adding on to the 20% off Drugstore.com deal that was posted by Pochacco today, you can get an 8pk of Gillette Fusion Cartridges which work on both manual or power razors for $2.10 ea or even cheaper at $1.89 ea + tax (where applicable).

Here's the details.

Add the 8pk of cartridges from this link:
http://www.drugstore.com/gillette...tid=183778

Make sure to clip the $4.00 off coupon at the bottom of that item!

Add to cart

Use Pochacco's link below to get an additional 20% off
http://slickdeals.net/?sdtid=5918658&sdop=1&sdpid=58337840&sdfid=9&lno=1&trd=Click+here&u2=http%3A%2F%2Fe.drugstore.com%2Fa%2FhBRSWyGAbeh5-B8xeVFDmLrgc.AcGxgqi5%2Fshop%3Fap%3D13wk29dsRCTLP

Keep in mind that the 20% link only works if you haven't used it already; or if you use a different email address/account.

Total should end up being $16.79, which comes out to $2.10 ea cartridge. However, you can also go through your Discover Card and go through Shop Discover, you can get an additional 10% off. If the SlickDeals Gods smile on you, you will end up with paying only $1.89 per cartridge (if you use Discover).

If you're concerned about using these "manual" blades in a "power" razor, don't. This is the information listed at the bottom of the description, "All Fusion Cartridges can be used with all Fusion Razors".

Enjoy, and don't just [removed] without repping me.:woot:

I...
Added the item to cart and applied the coupon
Went through Discover
Kept the Discover drugstore.com tab open in Chrome
Clicked the link on the original post
Selected my cart in the Discover tab and found the item discounted!

FlyEaglesFly04 03-20-2013 10:31 AM

Great deal!!

Deal Explorer 03-20-2013 10:33 AM

Just note that these are the original Fusion cartridges; not the newer ProGlide carts. I certainly don't have a problem with the original carts, but whether the old carts are worth this much... I guess it's a matter of opinion
BTW... the OP is right, these blades work fine with either the manual or power Fusion handle. Also, they will fit either the old Fusion handles or the ProGlide handles.

I wish you luck getting Discover to credit you the Shop Discover cashback, given that the item was already in your cart before going through the Shop Discover link. Hope it works for you!

No free shipping without signing up for Shoprunner?

likhtin 03-20-2013 10:40 AM

I do not see coupon :( Restrictions based on state? I know that many times coupons on Amazon would not show up for NY

hlee320 03-20-2013 10:44 AM

Got the power ones for $22 and change... good deal

Sanford1988 03-20-2013 10:45 AM

I added the item through shopdiscover, then clicked on 20% link in OP and it updated on my shopdiscover page. Seems like it should work.

Oh. OK. When you wrote "Added the item to cart and applied the coupon Went through Discover" I thought that was the order in which you did it (adding to cart before going through discover). Good luck.

Discover is notorious for denying cash back... I've been burned so many times by them that I wouldn't count on it.

For example if you look at their T&C with the cashback, it states that any other coupon will negate the cashback. Most recently, I bought a printer from Staples going through shopdiscover, but since Staples puts things on sale by using an "instant coupon" to reduce the price... no cash back for me... and it sucks because I could've used a different CB site and gotten money back that way...

purple 03-20-2013 11:13 AM

Thanks for posting OP.

Discover does annoy the crap outta me.. never had a problem w/ Chase Rewards though.. I was told by discover to avoid paying by paypal if that means anything.. but even when paying directly on the site had numerous issues.. oh I hate them..

Thanks! I just ran out.

Yeah that killed it for me since I don't have shoprunner, and I'm Cali.

*estimated order total: $28.66
total savings: $6.00
I gotta go Amazon Prime and get the better ProGlide Cartridges:

Clip the $4 dollar coupon.

Even if you don't subscribe and save it's cheaper (assuming you have Prime)

Add four more subscribe and saves (remember you can cancel as soon as any of them ships.) and knock %15 off each order.

Mine came to $18 plus with CA tax but still a great deal..

I ended up getting the 8 pack Fusion ProGlide cartridges for $19.99. They gave me free shipping without using shoprunner or any codes. Here's a screenshot:

I screwed up on the 20% of coupon anyhow. With the 20% off Drugstore was a buck cheaper. I think you get the free shipping because those blades qualify for free shipping because they are 28.99 without any discounts. They "regular" blades miss it by 1 cent! So this is a better deal if you don't have ShopRunner. Let me run and cancel my Amazon deal!

Bobby_Pro 03-20-2013 12:07 PM

Picked up the 8 pack. I guess that's enough metal for an year. I dont see prices going down further.

bearntiger 03-20-2013 12:07 PM

thank you. just got 1

Mr.Ritz 03-20-2013 12:17 PM

I dry my carts and use baby oil.. Carts last over a month now shaving 3 times a week!!!

Feels good man

I have had some success going through their site, and not even using the discover card... they never seem to reconcile the purchases against the billing statement. And if you think about it, they get the commission from the selling site because they are the referrer, not because you used their stinkin card...

So I always use paypal, and use the card that gets the most rewards.
