Thanks - signed up through 2019! Ok maybe not... But I did sign up.

MistahMe 04-08-2013 03:28 PM

I'm a bit confused, I have to complete surveys or refer 3 people (and have them literally join, not just invite) to get this?

Thanks Op for post, and anyone for help!

Just disable JavaScript, then click A 26 Week Subscription to
The Wall Street Journal.
If it doesn't work, let us know.

Free 26 Week Wall Street Journal Subscription

Free 26 Week Wall Street Journal Subscription

This one may take a minute or 2 to figure out but it’s not too hard.

To avoid the error message you’ll get if you click on the link below you can follow these steps.

In Internet Explorer click on Settings>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level. Then scroll most of the way down to “Scripting” and click on “Disable” under active scripting. Click OK at the bottom to confirm the change. Then click on the link below to order your free subscription.

Afterwards be sure to take the same steps to re-enable your active scripting.

Free Wall Street Journal 26 Week Subscription Link: http://www.rewardsgold.com/mags/wsj/regist26.htm

It can take a long time until these free subscriptions start coming, but they do eventually come and there’s no catch or credit card required!

Sun_shine 04-11-2013 10:56 AM

thanks

GunMan 04-11-2013 12:49 PM

So you need to refer 3 people? If true, Do the 3 people who I refer have to complete some specific performance? (All this info would add much value to the first post).
If they just need an email address, I can give them the emails of some job recruiters.

supersean 04-11-2013 12:51 PM

Just in time! The delivery from the last time this was free just ended. Thanks OP!

Yes, you need to do the 'referrals'...I just use disposable email addresses from 10minutemail or the like and I make up the names. The names you refer don't need to do anything for you to receive the freebie.

jrule 04-11-2013 01:06 PM

I have been getting free WSJ for past 3 years, thanks to rewardsgold :)

rockman321 04-11-2013 08:50 PM

is there anyway to stack up on these and also did you guys get a email verification from the deal? I also heard somewhere else that it takes like 3 months for it to start, is this true?

rockman321 04-11-2013 08:52 PM

ok 4 questions
1) is there any way to stack up on this
2) did anyone get a email verification like it said at the end
3) how long does it take to receive the subscription, i heard it could take up to 3 months
4) i just used the direct link in chrome, is that fine i didn't disable anything.

dibadudidu 04-12-2013 06:10 AM

Renewals

How do you get around the renewals prohibition?

2) No
4) I don't know but as per instructions on this thread I disabled javascript (I did not see the free 26 week offer until I disabled it).

webbii 04-12-2013 02:29 PM

Do you need to use a different email from the one used for a previous free subscription?
No way to tell because there was no email verification or confirmation after you click submit.

RmReel 04-15-2013 11:30 AM

Do u guys know if this allows for online subscription?

The RewardGold WSJ freebie is the print edition. The digital version is not included with print subscriptions (you need to pay extra for it).

nosmasmit 04-17-2013 09:35 AM

Just got my first issue!

lhaines99 04-27-2013 05:53 AM

Yes I got mine. It took a few weeks.

dealhound43 04-28-2013 04:50 PM

Thanks - my WSJ sub came really quickly also.

Angellique 04-29-2013 11:55 PM

I have so many points. I think I won a sweepstakes or something. Do they change the magazines often?

dealhound43 05-01-2013 02:42 PM

Yeah - I've belonged for awhile. They usually change them once or twice a month.

Bomex 05-02-2013 08:56 AM

How long did it take before your paper came in??

rotundarotunda 05-02-2013 01:00 PM

Sometimes it takes 6 weeks or so; sometimes it takes 2 weeks for any mag or newspaper. But they all have come from RG and the price is right!

So i do not have to do any of those referrals and survey?

lolailo 05-03-2013 12:58 PM

Weekend Edition?

Does anyone know if this can be converted to only the weekend edition (after "subscribing" to the 6 day edition)? I really only want the weekend edition, and it would be a bonus if it's more than 26 weeks since I wouldn't be receiving the daily.

Right. It's been a while since I ordered a sub, they might ask for three email referrals. I get most of my addresses here [mail.com], takes like 30 seconds.

I posted the 39 week deal for the WSJ if you want that. Don't want to hijack this thread, but it's posted on page 2.

Edit: See this post by KPS.

Geofffree 05-14-2013 08:13 AM

Got my first issue this morning. Tuesday, May 14 Issue.

I ordered with this thread when I missed out on the longer subscription 39 week, previous thread.

4 weeks.

I cannot login as an existing subscriber however. Anyone have any advice? I have the account number on my sticker, but it tells me to call WSJ...

koopas 05-18-2013 03:29 PM

Can you do this multiple times to get more weeks? or will you just get 2 of every issue?

Gnomie 05-18-2013 10:07 PM

Use the same info each and every time, and the subs will run consecutively, not concurrently. I've been doing this for years. Each time a new survey shows up, not with the same survey - whether you take the survey or jump to the end.

Don't feel gluttonous. The paper's advertising revenue is based on paid subs, and this counts as such.

Bomex 05-20-2013 01:31 PM

I never got my paper

When did you order? It supposedly takes at least 4 weeks.

Bomex 05-21-2013 06:34 PM

A couple of days after this thread was started

dealhound43 05-26-2013 09:18 AM

Try it again. That's what I do. It will come.

pbnjamming 06-19-2013 11:06 AM

My sub just showed up yesterday on my driveway. I think I subscribed 3 weeks ago.

I just signed up for the WSJ and Self. Looking forward to getting both!

millyxyz 08-05-2013 10:15 AM

Awesome! You get both the print and digital version.

greatgeorge148 08-07-2013 08:15 AM

Does anyone know how to get just the digital, not the print version, without canceling your entire subscription?

No...I don't. But you can contact customer service at WSJ and ask here:
https://customercenter.wsj.com/pu...actus.html

Or use their live chat option at the WSJ website, just click on the purple "live help" button at the top right hand corner...
https://customercenter.wsj.com/pu...&locale=US

dreamtheater17 08-09-2013 02:33 PM

I usually use the chat option. But I decided that I like the print option too.

jsmittyyes 08-09-2013 02:56 PM

Signed up for the WSJ last week - got my first issue today.

You can also do a Live Chat with their customer service if you just go to WSJ's home page. Its all the way at the bottom if you scroll down. I used that and it was pretty helpful.

jsmittyyes 09-04-2013 04:40 PM

Thanks for the tip! I tried the live chat with customer service and it worked. Very helpful.

Just go to the WSJ website and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. Under the title "Customer Service", you'll see Live Help as one of the options.

http://online.wsj.com/home-page

Alternatively, from the Customer Service page, you can click on the purple button that says "Live Help" in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
