Thanks. Rolling the dice on this. I could use a entry level pressure washer for small areas around the house.

I like the points offer myself. I mean, it pretty much is like $66.99 - $25 in points = $41.99.

fungo45 04-21-2013 07:58 AM

In for one. Wouldn't let me do the points offer though. Kept saying that the $10 deal was better, even if I removed the $10 off code. Oh well.

jb137 04-21-2013 08:03 AM

I would like to apply points but am unable to do so. The system says that the code is either not applicable to your purchase or a better code has already been applied. I am using KMART5OFF50

Ch3apSk8 04-21-2013 08:08 AM

Looks like code KSYW25 is no longer working on anything in Automotive. It was working fine yesterday, and they're still advertising the code.
The site is acting kinda funny, too. Maybe they're updating something.

so this washer is good for washing car? I heard some may be too strong, and some are too weak, and this has the right pressure? Also do I need to buy any converter nozzle?Sorry I don't know anything about pressure washer but want one to cut back on car wash time and $

Pressure washer is a pressure washer. You need to determine the correct amount of pressure needed to be use and what type of nozzle works best for your vehicle. A rule of thumb is the larger the radius of the spray nozzle the less pressure.

dscamp 04-21-2013 02:34 PM

Just bought one + 2yr warranty $75.

lemonade 04-21-2013 02:50 PM

Okay thanks, just purchased one with $10 off.

Wyndhamscams 04-21-2013 02:57 PM

Would bite on this but it will be on of those tools that stop working a year down the road, Hate spending $ on crap that breaks, even if the price is a steal. Warranty at Sears is only as good as Sears still be open :(

maddoggyusa 04-21-2013 02:58 PM

3 years later, it probably won't work anymore. I've had 2 of these cheap pressure washers and they don't last. but if you have a project or two lined up, $60 isn't bad.

AndrewGWU 04-21-2013 03:07 PM

Are all Kmart/Sears deals auto-frontpaged?

atwood7fan 04-21-2013 03:29 PM

grabbing one for pickup to use for my deck and front porch. hope I get one of the more durable ones.

esphil 04-21-2013 03:34 PM

This will be a very weak pressure washer. I guess it depends on how you plan on using it.

chong67 04-21-2013 03:40 PM

Can this thing do hot water?

jayhawk75 04-21-2013 03:46 PM

I almost bought one until I read the (real) reviews for it on Amazon. Since I'd like to use it more than once - I backed away...

achilles1001 04-21-2013 03:59 PM

I ordered one. The reviews are mixed but for this price I will give it a shot. If it is a pile, it sucks that Kmart's return policy is only 28 day, I think.

canonikon 04-21-2013 04:06 PM

I want one...I don't know why...but it's a front page deal I don't want to miss out.

stachi 04-21-2013 04:17 PM

Don't waste your time/money. Bought one of these a few years back. It started leaking after a few uses and the warranty is worthless. After getting All Power to acknowledge that they would need to send me a replacement part, they just stopped replying to my email and voicemail until I finally gave up.

jmang 04-21-2013 04:19 PM

i have the harbor freight one.

don't both if you need some serious cleaning with a pressure washer. i have heavy oil stains that 1600psi can't get off my driveway.

blue_3too 04-21-2013 04:36 PM

can somebody tell me if I buy an air compressor, do I still need this? thanks

This is why I only buy pressure washers from Costco, they generally break within a year especially if you don't bother taking them apart and cleaning them completely after each use like you're apparently supposed to. The Costco ones also break after a year but you just run them back over to Costco and get your money back or if you want a new one put the money towards whatever one they are carrying then.

That depends. Do you want pressurized air (air compressor) or pressurized water (pressure washer)?

missmaggie 04-21-2013 06:15 PM

Do not leaving this outside (in your garage or shed) during freezing weather. The plastic will break from the leftover water inside and it will be worthless after that. I did this accidently with 2 similar pressure washers. Expensive mistake!

bthorny 04-21-2013 06:22 PM

I don't think you should use any pressure washer on a wooden deck. Or if you do, at least at VERY low pressure. Othwerwise you risk damaging the wood fibers, allowing water to penetrate into the deck and rot it. So yes, this WOULD be enough even though I think it's a bad idea. Better to get some of that mop-on deck cleaner that you hose off with a garden hose with a spray nozzle.

What is costco's policy that you can do this? Do you have to be a member? I looked on Costco's web site and I didn't see any pressure washers at all. Also, I just picked this up and I am returning it. Mine leaks bad on the rotating hose connector portion of the hose for the wand.

A bit too much pressure at 1600 psi. If you DO USE THIS, stay farther away, so the pressure on the surface is not much. Also, avoid perpendicular spray and instead spray at an angle to avoid damage.

You are clueless, this pressure washer is a puppy dog.
I use 3000 psi Honda pressure waher to wash my car, not at full power but damn close.

People pressure wash decks all the time, so much crap information in this thread.
People are in BUSINESS pressure washing decks...

This pressure washer is WEAK compared to what they use for decks. This thing can't damage shit!

oilman1 04-21-2013 11:15 PM

I was able to add both promo codes, KSYW25, and KAUTO10. The $25 in points was not instant. I guess I will see if the points show up.

Exactly. I have a 3100 ryobi pressure washer and its just strong enough to clean off my wood deck. Any less psi and I would've been pissed for spending that kind of money on something that didn't work. I think 1600 psi would be perfect for washing a car/boat, maybe siding and other light duty projects. But thats about all.

Must have something to do with the total $, because if I add 2 to my cart the coupon works. With one it does not.

weird...must be $100 rather than $50?

Ch3apSk8 04-22-2013 11:50 AM

When I first posted this deal two days ago, they accepted the KSYW25 code for a single washer. Unfortunately, today I had to spend ten minutes on the phone with SYW customer service before they gave me my $25 in points.

You have to be a member for almost everything at Costco. The policy is pretty much return anything whenever you want. They have limited returns on tvs etc now but the majority of the stuff you buy is still able to be returned whenever. I've returned things after 8-10 years with no hassle.

I'm in Washington. I've never heard of 90 days for anything at Costco... as of a few years ago they did limit the return on some electronics like laptops and tvs because people were abusing it badly and just returning their perfectly working tv whenever they wanted to upgrade it. Return policy on electronics varies from like 6-18 months now but honestly if there is something legitimately wrong with it they will generally still take it back regardless of time frame it's just more hassle than it used to be so people don't abuse it.

That limitation only applies to electronics though and mostly it's just for stuff people abuse it on like tvs and laptops. Everything else is still return whenever. The only issue I've ever had returning things at Costco was a series of "Lifetime" tables that I called to check about returning them because they varied from 7-10 years old but had a manufacturers lifetime warranty. On the phone they said it was fine and to bring them over so I lugged over the 8 that had broken and they absolutely refused to take them and said I needed to send them to the manufacturer because they no longer carried that model. This was baffling to me since I had previously returned an electric shaver that stopped working about a week after I got it then got lost in a move and found 8 years later and the only hassle was them informing me they would only be able to refund cash and could not replace it because they hadn't carried that model in years. I also got a refund on the LCD monitor portion of a computer system that was 7 years old with no hassle whatsoever. The majority of my and people I knows returns have been within 1-5 years of purchase though and never had any issue at all with any of those. The tables were a weird issue because the manager was trying to explain that they couldn't take them because they wouldn't get credit for them but if I returned them to the manufacturer I would. I'm still unclear on what the issue was as to why they wouldn't get credit but that's the only item they've refused to accept.
