Apparently, you're all telling the truth...

Camel does say that its the lowest, as the OP indicated.

And now I found what you guys are talking about. Amazon had a price mistake on a similar item in the beginning of March. (See here.)

But if you read the thread, you'll see that NO ONE got 36 rolls for $10.

Thanks, OP. Repped. In for one and no cancellation expected.

I wouldn't really be comparing this deal to that one even if they had... It was a huge pricing error.

This is ~$2.09 / roll, delivered. Sounds like a deal.

ktg 05-05-2013 09:17 AM

Thanks OP.

Took me a minute to figure out that the "recycled" in the name refers not to the tape itself, but instead to this tapes' enhanced ability to cling to recycled cardboard. So this is apparently a different product than 3M's "standard" packing/shipping tape which I have always had good luck with. In comparison, that stuff can often be had for less than $2/roll at Costco if you wait for the inevitable sale price every year.

Is this 1.88 inches wide or 3 inches wide? Just trying to figure out what dispenser I'll need

Edit: I've been buying the Staples brand generic tape in both 1.88" width and 3" width. I've been using the 1.88" width with bubble mailers and envelopes and have had no problems.

I use the 3" on boxes and it doesn't always stick will depending on the finish of the cardboard and often times I have to double up or go back over the tape to ensure it sticks and doesn't open up during transit.

If this is better quality I might bite. I'm going to guess it's not as good as the brown tape used on Amazon and other packages?

Thanks for nothing.

It has been this price for a while now (and this is a re-post). I bought it on April 15th.....

Nikola-Tesla 05-05-2013 09:48 PM
