In some places (like where I live) they're doing it from 11-5 and giving out 7.11-oz. cups (without domed lids so it's a lot less than the normal 12-oz cups).

They have tiny cups for this and they do it every year.

Stop into any 7/11 for 7/11 Day and get your free slurpees!
Runs from 11am to 7 pm this Thursday, 7/11/13 until sold out.

The ones around here now have Sugar Free Slurpees - I had a Sprite Sugar Free a few weeks ago and it was really good! Nothing like a good ol' CocaCola Slurpee though on a hot summer day!

Candletric 07-10-2013 09:37 AM

So, you are saying this can be shipped ? I don't think so.......

Chongl 07-10-2013 10:06 AM

ToughPeanut 07-10-2013 10:07 AM

These deals usually exclude NYC, let me know what you find. Is it okay to break the golden rule and call on this one?

Yes, it is a national promotion. The store will either clearly be "in or out" on the promotion.

lame. its like cloudy and drizzling in socal ehh not worth it this year

shinynblue 07-11-2013 10:26 AM

Not worth it since the cups are always so tiny, a newborn could guzzle it in 2 sips!

But it might be worth it if you took the time to read the title where it says 12 oz.

xmissmandy 07-11-2013 10:51 AM

My 7-11 was still only giving out 7.11 ounce ones.

Are you sure that wasn't last year? The website says "Small" but also says the free one is larger this year.

Yeah, I went to my 7-11 and got one at lunch time. It says 7.11 oz on the cup. The small lid wouldn't fit on the cup like the website had said it would. It was definitely still the smaller size cup at my local 7-11.

axmaster45 07-11-2013 11:12 AM

Went to mine (wasnt busy at all) and they has small size 12oz slurpee cups with lids on em ready to go to prevent lines. Took me two seconds

hale_image 07-11-2013 11:24 AM

thanks for the heads up

FreeeStufffer 07-11-2013 11:24 AM

love free slurpee will be stopping by in 30min or so when its 11am here plus you can always use a x-larger cup and only pay 1.09 for a refill l save my cups and they last me months the older cups use to last longer new ones are thinner

There's not a whole lot to contribute to a free slurpee thread. That being said, it amazes me how people are getting so excited over a product that costs 7-11 approximately a nickel tops, if I had a guess. Especially if they are going out of their way to obtain it.

And my original post was an attempt at humor -- hence the Mayor Bloomberg comment. So I was contributing to the thread -- a bit of humor. Perhaps it just got lost on some people.

I have always remembered to stay clear of 7-11 on july 11, just way too many people in there and the cup is really small, and i think they usually run out of cups fast. Just not worth the hassle, last time i went in there on july 11 just to buy regular stuff and the line was sooo long i just walked back out.

Blade2000 07-11-2013 01:27 PM

Doesnt really matter either way here they just dont have many stores in Wisconsin.

There's no 7-11 where I live, i have to drive up to Austin :(

kbud70 07-11-2013 02:10 PM

My location was out of small cups. They were giving us 12oz styrofoam cups instead. That would have been fantastic expect the Slurpees where not frozen. I non-frozen Slurpee is not very good, even when it is free.

How much is gas per gallon in Austin? Hopefully your drive is not that far. It's not worth it, cup is too small. Indian owner doesn't look "HAPPY" when I asked him about the free slurpee. I forgot to say "Happy Birthday" to him/store :lmao:
