This Flingsmash comes with the MotionPlus accessory, and not the whole remote or RemotePlus, right?

tonewaylo 06-21-2013 10:09 PM

That's 80 free Nintendo coins! Puts me 1/6th of the way to platinum next year! Thx MAN!

also if you do a new account you can get 10 off 50 so it'll be a money maker. i think it's like newcustomer06 or 60

Parachute07 06-21-2013 10:13 PM

XBOX 350? Sounds like something you buy in the Pearl Market in Beijing :D

If you're going to order 5 of the same game, order them in the same order.
That way you can just file one rebate with quantity 5 for that title.

Thx OP and thank you sinners. Didn't want to be greedy so ordered only 1 of each. Created a new account for my wife to make this a MM. Rep has been given to both!

bunnyeric 06-21-2013 10:21 PM

5 for each?
why do I need 5 copies of exact same game?

1 word, greed. These will likely sell out fast. I ordered only 1 of each so others could benefit as well.

I'm satisfy with 1 each for the other games.

OhNoItsDEVO 06-21-2013 10:26 PM

All the 360 games got awful reviews.
Could resell them though.

Foladar 06-21-2013 10:26 PM

Grabbed Fortune Street, the rest are meh.

Maxima218 06-21-2013 10:26 PM

Damn to bad the resident evil games have such terrible reviews, I used to love those games...

swmonkeys 06-21-2013 10:28 PM

Sweet! I'm in!

I think these could also be flipped around for a couple bucks using Best Buy's trade-in service since I think you just need the disc. That would be at least $6 for Fortune Street [bestbuy.com] and a dollar or so for the rest.

you know i did this same thing on the star trek blu rays from target (as to not pay shipping). i then offered to sell them to anyone who couldn't get the deal for cost plus shipping... i didn't get a single message.

Thanks for another great FAR deal TDMVP73!

Considering their purchase price, their ebay price can't be far off. (I admit I haven't checked) But by the time you pay ebay fees, paypal fees, s/h, and dealing with the buyer, it wouldn't be worth trying to flip these onto ebay. I haven't checked TIV on Amazon yet, but I'm sure it's probably about the same story.

i checked a few out, they sell very low, not really worth the time TBH. I still got 5x of these since I would need to make a profit of 16.20 from 25 copies of video games.

houwa 06-21-2013 10:38 PM

The rebates require Originial UPC,
NO go to resell, i think

i checked a few out, they sell very low, not really worth the time TBH. I still got 5x of these since 1% cashback from discover covers tax, free shipping from shop runner, and this will cost me $2.50 in stamps. So I need to make a profit of $2.50 from 25 copies of video games.

That's fine. Everybody has a threshold of what's worth it to them, and for me, it just isn't worth it. I hold nothing against anybody who has a different opinion.

Why not? People resell things all the time without a UPC.

Thanks OP! Anyone else get the error "I'm sorry, that offer is not found. Please check the offer number and try again." when trying to register their rebates? Do you have an alarm that wakes you up for every frontpage deal?

wxforecaster 06-21-2013 10:54 PM

Already own Fortune Street and it's kind of a fun game that uses Mario/Dragon Warrior characters and teaches kids about money management. It's kinda/sorta like Monopoly. We enjoy it and my 8 year old's math skills have really improved because he's constantly trying to figure out where to buy properties, stocks, percentages, etc...

I usually get 2 alerts whenever TDMVP makes a post. First alert is simply because I follow him (click on follow next to his username to set it up) and my second alert comes from slickdeals anytime something with the keywords FAR or FREE AFTER REBATE in the title is posted.

Deganveran 06-21-2013 10:57 PM

Already got the 3 FAR Xbox games long ago for $5-$9 each (and I probably paid too much), and they are still sitting on the shelf untouched. Don't have a Wii. So as cool as FAR games are, these particular 5 don't matter to me.

I'm having the same problem. IIRC OP said it should be active sometime this afternoon... if it doesn't become active soon, then maybe they're intentionally delaying it in the hopes that people forget to register for their rebates

It's not a scam, the rebate site just hasn't updated yet. These FAR items were a last minute addition Friday evening, so I don't know if anyone is there to push an update on the weekends.

At the very latest, registration will be available Monday afternoon.

The sinister me kinda hopes the people who bought 5 each get screwed with the rebate code not working.

Will you get the rebates if you buy the games through the same link from one of neweggs partners?

No

When you add a rebate item to the cart on Newegg it'll show the rebate info in the cart as well -- for third party sellers the rebate wont show up in the cart so its not eligible

Thanks for the update TDMVP!

Master TDMVP73, I have a question. I bought 5 Resident Evils, and the rebate form on Newegg says, limit one rebate submission per envelope. However, when I registered the rebates at rebateaccess.com, it seems I could add all 5 into one rebate.

Should I register the rebate 5 times and put them separately in 5 envelopes, Or shall I just add 5 Resident Evils into one rebate and mail it in one envelope?

Thanks in advance

Register for the rebate once, add a quantity of 5 during the registration process. Attach all 5 UPCs to the one rebate form along with a copy of the Invoice, and mail it in 1 envelope.

Thank you, TDMVP73

So that means i have to open up the games and cut the UPC out of the game box?

Yes, that is correct. Unless you have a way of cutting off the UPC without removing the shrink wrap.

I used a Kershaw knife that i bought via a SlickDeal to cleanly cut out the UPC while leaving the rest of the plastic intact. perhaps my local game store will value it higher than a simple used game :D
