KTM19 06-27-2013 12:03 PM

Bought two of these the last time they were on sale. Great for hardwood floors and tile. Can't go wrong for $15.

It scratched my laminate wood floor and doesn't have enough suction for area rug

Good to know!

DJsDA 06-27-2013 12:23 PM

I'm going to be doing a major shampooing job, and needed something to use to get the corners/sides between carpet and wall. This seems perfect for that. In for 1, thanks!

cbkcc1 06-27-2013 12:24 PM

not supposed to use a brushroll on wood generally, especially on laminate.

a vacuum with no roll or the option to turn it off is best.

New_World 06-27-2013 12:31 PM

thanks op

DJsDA 06-27-2013 12:36 PM

What's the regular price on these?

According to shopping search I'm doing, they are $20 at walmart regular price.

ThatsWatSheSaid 06-27-2013 12:38 PM

I have one of these and absolutely love it. Works great on the wood floors, tile, and does a decent job on the area rugs as well. It's very light and much smaller than a normal vacuum so you can toss it in any closet.

pooplip 06-27-2013 12:40 PM

I think that this is a total piece of crap. Got one a while ago and you are better off with a broom!!

ShawnB 06-27-2013 12:40 PM

horrible on carpets, but works well for hardwood and tile. Easily worth the 15 dollars though.

whateverluluwants 06-27-2013 12:40 PM

Ships Free if you select "PICK UP at FED EX" Luckily there's a Fed Ex in my building, SCORE!

sammyccc 06-27-2013 12:41 PM

Thanks OP! Repped! Don't forget 5% CB from Discover.

slgerb 06-27-2013 12:42 PM

Is there a carpet brush underneath the vacuum? Or is it simply just suction?

prophylaxis 06-27-2013 12:42 PM

I added to cart and shipped it to home it said 1 dollar after it updated at check out to 75094

AznCracker 06-27-2013 12:44 PM

missed it last time. in for a grey one.

Also 97 cents to save me a trip thanks

vad005 06-27-2013 12:46 PM

Bought this last time around...This thing just just great for the price....you can't go wrong....

rmonte4 06-27-2013 12:55 PM

Bought last time, I use mine on tile and wood floors. Easy, quick, seems to get the job done.

fuzzyfacedog 06-27-2013 12:57 PM

Reviews are great overall. In for a colorful Orange one. :) So glad they ship free to neighborhood Walmarts.

AznCracker 06-27-2013 12:59 PM

wtf.... my order got canceled. This is such bs. Same thing happened when i ordered that ipad.

mitchel 06-27-2013 01:01 PM

Does this have a blowing feature or does it just suck?

azdolt 06-27-2013 01:09 PM

This thing looks an awful lot like this piece that I got from Target 5 years ago on black friday:

http://www.amazon.com/SHARK-Shark...d_sxp_f_pt

After 5 years, it still going strong, just need to replace the filter once in awhile, and the dirt container can break.

gkwong 06-27-2013 01:15 PM

hale_image 06-27-2013 01:28 PM

thanks op

PhantomX1 06-27-2013 01:33 PM

I'm in for one (thanks and rep)
NOW my 2 cents:
This is NOT a vacuum that you should use for carpets.
Ok, let me rephrase.... you can use it on a carpet, but it will be worthless.
Carpets, specially the thick ones will need have a vacuum that generates suctions and vibration (the brushes) which will help shake the dirt and able to get it out.
If you don’t have both, it’s more like a waste of your time.
So WHY am I getting one?
Like many other posts, this is perfect for a quick cleaning on bare floors (kitchen, bathrooms, etc)
I hope this helps

AznCracker 06-27-2013 01:58 PM

man F walmart they keep on canceling my order due to a processing error

tcope 06-27-2013 02:02 PM

"Bissell 3-in-1 Vacuum Cleaner"

I get that it's a vacuum but what are the other 2 things it becomes?

I got a couple of these last time, pink and teal. I bought them for my daughters and they love them. They are always vacuuming the floor (stained concrete). My wife told me it's the best thing I have bought all year.

resseeker 06-27-2013 03:02 PM

Bought this for $20 last year. Still functioning well. Filter gets clogged fast (I guess that's a good thing), can't beat it for the price.

Has anything ever happened with your Walmart account concerning your stored info being used on orders you didn't make? They store credit card info without asking. I only use Paypal with their site now.

That's why your orders keep getting cancelled. Make a new account, make sure to delete any payment info after ordering if you do use a cc and you should be able to order again. I'd use Paypal though.

Albort 06-27-2013 04:27 PM

morpheus282 06-27-2013 05:17 PM

If this is the same one that I got on Black Friday for $7, it's decent for spot cleaning and stairs. Not too great for larger sport or wood floors though.

nyankana 06-27-2013 06:00 PM

Suction power is the most important quality for me. Its always easier to clean bare floors with cheap vacuums, but for carpets depending on the profile, vacuums with decent suction can easily skyrocket to few hundred bucks.

Cartier 06-27-2013 06:10 PM

Wtf, no red?

A broom, so I can kick the dust up in the air or shove it into cracks and corners the broom won't reach.

Had the same problem tried with both firefox and chrome...only thing did the trick was waiting like five minutes then trying again, magically it worked with firefox.

lexiloo 06-27-2013 09:30 PM

Always getting "temporary" errors while checking out for the past few hours. Tried different browsers, deleting cookies, checking out as guest with different info, etc. Just wanted to alert others if you have similar errors...you are not alone. I'm not desperate for the item, so I'm just checking sporadically. Still strange since I haven't had a prior problem on their site.

My large vaccuum is ok with litter but it kicks it all over everywhere out the back.

YES! I got hit for $806.91 Memorial Day weekend for 3 Google Nexxus tablets plus shipping to an address in Oregon. My sister had a charge on her debit card for over $300. My son-in-law for almost a thousand all within the last few months.

Talk about a PITA. Had to cancel my debit card & then go in & change all my automatic debits like Netflix & eBay payments etc. When I called Walmart, the lady I talked to in billing (supposedly a manager) said this was a "known issue" and they're working on it. She also told me the same thing my sister was told when she called them---they do not ask if you want to save your payment info, they store it w/o your knowledge or consent. I have naturally deleted mine but sort of a case of shutting the barn door after the horse is out.

Shoddy business practices IMO.

valkaz 06-28-2013 07:58 AM

Bought one. Figured I can always return it if it doesn't work well.

Thanks for the heads up about the credit card fraud stuff. I just went in and deleted all of my stored info.

Not the strongest reviews on Amazon. 4 out of 5 stars, and be sure to read the negative reviews before buying. Most complain about low suction power on bare floors and carpeting. Mediocre small-appliance clutter.

4 out of 5 stars is considered not strong reviews? I love mine for $15. Yeah it's a cheaply made appliance, but it actually picks up pretty good on my hardwood and tile floors. I use it a lot because it gets a lot of the pet hairs that I can't get with a broom.

Great to hear it works for you, but yes, for me, I pass on a "pretty good" product with six 1-star reviews and eleven 3-star or lower reviews. Not good enough for me, when there are more highly rated products.

I have one, and it is wonderful on wood and tile. Works on rugs/carpet if it is low pile, but you do have to vacuum a little slower than with a big vacuum. Perfect for my tiny apt with wood floors though. Unfortunately, I paid $19.95 for it and still had to get it in gray, so this is a great deal, especially with all the color options!

monkeybiz 07-18-2013 01:27 PM

$17 shipped w/tax, deal sucks.

weedrose 07-18-2013 02:51 PM

somehow I missed this deal when it was posted, but thankfully I was still able to place an order today. I've been looking for an inexpensive handheld vacuum just for small jobs on hardwood and tile & this has excellent reviews. thanks!

kicksfever 07-18-2013 03:06 PM

Awesome. $17.15 with tax and shipping to CA.

Thanks OP!

bbrradd 07-18-2013 03:23 PM

i got this vacuum when the deal was first posted, it is very lightweight and worked perfectly at getting the dog hair off my stairs. I dont think i would use it for the whole carpet, but its great for small jobs.

I should say I hope it sucks as good as my Eureka, http://www.amazon.com/Eureka-Easy...0006HUYGM/ if not then I'll just put adapt the little yellow monster to use this stick.

Just used mine for the first time. Overall I am happy with the purchase. Makes cleaning the hardwood floors a bit easier than a broom. The only annoyance is that the handle has come unattached several times. I am thinking of maybe epoxying it on there permanently.

rigsreco 07-19-2013 01:10 PM

Thans for the post! Very mixed reviews. But can't beat the price so bought it. I hope it does a decent job on my wooden floor and my kitchen. Just been very lazy to use the vacuum cleaner I have right now. Big and bulky.

Thanks! We've been searching for a lightweight vacuum to leave downstairs for our hardwood floors. I'm over lugging the dyson up and down the stairs.

$5 usually at Black Friday sale. Bought a similar one at target. Good quality for fast cleaning.

Great for dog hair. We have three rescues. A Belgian malanois, a Shepard husky mix, and a beagle terrier mix. We get hair everywhere and a full size vac just doesn't get into where it needs to. Just picked one of these up a few hours ago and it's awesome for the price. Actually it's awesome at double the price. It's really lightweight and gets right into tight places. I'm suprised by how well it works, I'm going to use it in the car tomorrow. At only two amps the inverter in my truck will keep up no problem. Thanks dancer!

Darknyt 07-21-2013 09:21 PM

We have had about four of these units. We LOVE the convenience and performance of these.

HOWEVER, we finally had to replace this with a Hoover cyclonic corded version ( cordless one is the linx). These bissel units consistently broke. I mean every single one. It was either the plastic mouth that fits to the vacuum head would crack so it would no longer hold the head on, or the wheels would come off and refuse to stay.

While we really wanted to keep using these, finally had to put all four in the trash.

The Hoover cyclonic has been a great replacement and cost about what four of these on sale do

Your call - spend the money on these now and a decent version later or just step up now and save the hassle.

Medic311 07-21-2013 09:30 PM

SkyDrift 07-21-2013 10:05 PM

I bought one of these 3 days ago at Walmart. It was 14.68 + tax.

Not bad for a personal vacuum cleaner. Just don't expect it to clean as good as those big vacuum cleaners.

iwanttobeslick 07-21-2013 10:05 PM

This vacuum was always around $16-$17 bucks. I'm sure people are raving about it, like how I was when I first discovered it. It has always been this cheap probably because of its lack of power. When someone reviews it saying along the lines of it being useless because it doesn't suck, he'll get downvoted (such as in Amazon) and get responses like, "You're not using it on hardwood floors" or "What do you expect? It's lightweight. Why are you giving a negative review for an inexpensive product?"

Well, I'm sorry, look at the manufacturer's website and see what it's intended for. Giving an excuse saying that it's only for hardwood floors and only for anything very light and thin like pet furs do not cut it for me. It still blows (yes, pun intended). It barely picks up any thing.

I'm just saying. There are better alternatives out there for your hardwood floors. I personally wouldn't settle for this unless you got a huge home because it's just gonna take up space. I just gave mine away. And while seeing this around a couple of bucks cheaper from what I've seen at stores, I personally don't see this as a slick deal.

I miss the old Slickdeals when there were legit slick deals.

Is this considered thread-crapping? Oh well. Too late.

But one may be a great deal while the other one is overpriced, closing the gap.

I have the ergorapido...was just curious. Around the same form factor.

it's for hardwood, tile, laminate, low pile carpet (commercial pile height), and area rugs (below commercial pile height).

this is not meant as a vacuum for traditional wall-to-wall medium/high pile. in a bind or in tight places like closets, it can be used for medium pile wall-to-wall but you must use it very slowly

i don't think it can be explained any better than that...

gomui88 07-21-2013 11:05 PM

I bought one and it is handy for moldings since it's not heavy and sucks up dust pretty good. The only thing that i didn't like is the outflow of air out of the side that kicked up more dust! Other than that, once i got the hang of how to use it, for $15 it wasn't too bad. Then my mom saw it, liked it and permanently borrowed it from me so here i am again, buying another. Thanks for the posting!

It's back? This deal never left. It's been this price at least since the last time it was a front page deal, June 27, 2013. It's been in my cart at this price since then. It's kind of the regular price at this point.
This is kind of a repost. There are still current discussions concerning buying the vacuum at this price on the original post.

So they're filling the void by spending $15 on a vacuum that retails for $15. I still don't get it.

jokerji 07-22-2013 06:29 AM

OK for vacuuming cars, but the conversion is a 'snap on' feature which doesn't lock after a few uses. Had it for less than 2 weeks and it doesn't work anymore.

Still not a bad price..

carlson03 07-22-2013 06:39 AM

I have had one for years, does pretty decent job on solid floors, worthless on carpet...my only gripe is the long handle likes to fall off, so I taped it...other than that, its light weight and works pretty well with dog hair

milowen 07-22-2013 06:40 AM

I got one of these a couple weeks ago at $14.97 b/c of the good reviews. It's really nothing special. It's ok for very small jobs. It's not very effective on carpet, definitely not a replacement for a regular vacuum. But, it's a cheap, lightweight novelty that I can get the kids to use occasionally.

localdeals 07-22-2013 06:45 AM

Got one...what the heck.

PhantomX1 07-22-2013 06:48 AM

I got myself one of these the last time it was posted.
It does have great reviews, but KEEP IN MIND, this is NOT a vacuum to be used for deep cleaning, well, even regular cleaning.
This is great only for a "quick" cleaning on wood floors, laminate since it's very light and convenient.
Like other people have posted, there are other alternatives and better units.
And yes, others have posted that it breaks easily. Mine is fine, but I can see the wheels and other parts breaking easily.
For the price.... It's a good deal !!
Repped (again) :)

pretty much...and by putting reg price coolers, pumps, and other things on FP spurred by Walmart to clear out inventory. then they compare the price to Amazon as the baseline for the slick deal, when these prices have been the norm at Walmart all season.

Thanks for that explanation. Sadly it makes a lot of sense and a lot of people seem to be falling for it.

Absolutely FANTASTIC... best $15 I've ever spent. It sucks up the cat hair from my six amazingly well. It also sucks up the big piles of litter they leave around.

leemaverickly 07-22-2013 07:18 AM

Can somebody explain it to me? I know this is 38b1l. I have a 38b1, which is the worst vacuum I have ever had. It doesn't suck up anything. I don't understand why this has such great reviews and every time it hits SD it's so hot. Thanks.

This little vacuum rocks!

I bought it since our old 150 dollar vac is on the way out. This little guy takes up hardly any real estate in the apartment and does just a good a job as the previous vac.

Definitely worth the 16 bucks shipped, I would highly recommend it even if this is the original price.

Actually these are $16.99 on Amazon.
So with Tax and store pickup at Walmart the price would come out to be same.
http://www.amazon.com/Bissell-Lig...ick+vacuum
I have Amazon GC so I will buy from there.

sarberry 07-22-2013 11:58 AM

I purchased one in back in June, and love it. It does great picking up crumbs and dirt left by the kids on my kitchen floor. It sounds like a hairdryer, but handles your average floor dirt like a champ. Floors in my house get vacuumed once a day, and I much prefer doing the kitchen and bathrooms with this little guy than maneuvering my Dyson beast around all the nooks and crannies.

Something else to keep in mind: you can use this easily on your kitchen rugs without them getting sucked into the vacuum. A huge bonus in my book.

I have a different brand stick vac and it is the best thing ever. So much easier to use than the full-sized vac on wood floors. Nice deal OP

heymistahdj 07-22-2013 03:42 PM

appreciate the awareness! These were the same price in my local store.

EasyGuy 07-22-2013 05:10 PM

Darn it, I was actually looking for a vacuum/mop/sweeper and stumbled on this item before the OP posted this deal. Saw it was a low price, but did not know that it was a slickdeal's front page kind of a deal so I just ignored it and moved on. I could have posted my first front page deal with so many thumbs up and response.

Maybe now I'll reconsider buying this, so many people are liking it.

kpatel21 07-22-2013 05:18 PM

ohhhh Walmart

I placed an order for this exact Vacuum on July 2nd for a "Site-to-Store" and I just got an email from Walmart.com saying that the order has been 'Delayed'. I called the customer service department to get an idea when it might arrive and the representative tells me 'in the past it has been delayed anywhere from 2 days to a month and a half', so then I call the store to see if they might have it there, they placed me on hold for 6 mins and 45 secs, so I call again then I was placed on hold again for 4 mins and 42 secs. Needless to say, will not EVER be doing business with Walmart again.

KTM19 07-22-2013 06:05 PM

Love this cheap little vacuum. Does a great job picking up a lot of cat hairs on my hardwood floors. I probably wouldn't use it for carpeting though.

rjm08 07-23-2013 03:03 AM

Bought it with a 3% cashback site. Says wont be ready for instore pickup until Fri., Aug 2 ???

Is that a typo ?

I would expect them to have it later today.

I saw a shelf full of them a few days ago. Didnt buy it because I want my 44-45 cents back.

Lagunasun 07-23-2013 09:11 AM

I've been looking for something specifically for picking up cat hair on wood floors. I'll try this out, thanks
