Umm..I think they are quite accurate. I have had a couple of pairs and have always bought them in my size....just double checked a pair in the closet and yeah, they are consistent.

killmatic 10-13-2013 10:29 AM

Damn it, I want these. Don't need them, though.

yuugotserved 10-13-2013 10:32 AM

freejus 10-13-2013 10:40 AM

quickbike 10-13-2013 10:41 AM

This is a good deal. I own a pair of the mid tops, these are the low tops. They will last forever, and you can replace the sole at anytime, love them!

fueradeljuego 10-13-2013 11:22 AM

xtwister161 10-13-2013 11:39 AM

BigCTM 10-13-2013 11:41 AM

Yes, because things from 1974 are no longer fashionable :lmao:

Run along and play in your New Balance crosstrainers.

chubaone 10-13-2013 12:11 PM

in for 1. used the link the xpeng posted and that code worked. $44.14 shipped.

KristoffK 10-13-2013 12:12 PM

Clarks are a UK brand, but the quality is great...will last many years once taken care off.

sackid123 10-13-2013 12:15 PM

How do you report a deal is Dead to the moderators?

helloha1 10-13-2013 12:40 PM

How does this go FP but not when they were way cheaper about a month back? (http://slickdeals.net/f/6248822-clarks-desert-shoes-37-49)

Cool story, bro. Still not sure why you're whining about it, though.

Just curious why this went basically insta-FP when it didn't at $38. slickdeals can be weird sometimes...

namlook 10-13-2013 01:01 PM

These things were ugly in the 70s even when they were fashionable. Good deal if you like the style though.

mbelsky 10-13-2013 01:04 PM

OOS? Darn missed it!

xcm 10-13-2013 02:03 PM

charliewade 10-13-2013 02:30 PM

I remember these were really really stylish when I was a kid in the 1970s.

That's the second time I seen a post in this thread that said that Clarks would last a long time. When you say that, are you guys talking about the look of the shoe? I never brought Clarks before so I'm comparing it to aldo shoes. Won't the bottom of the shoe wear out? And the sole would need to be changed.

this used to be true, but i have trouble finding cobblers that are willing to replace crepe soles for less than a hundred bucks.

xpeng 10-16-2013 10:58 AM

Got mine, will return. Too large and heavy.

chubaone 10-18-2013 11:59 AM

mine were way lighter than i was expecting. anyone else?

so as it turns out the direct link brought you to taupe. being that they only showed the darker shoe i figured that's the one i'd be getting...that was not the case. well i didn't hate the color and contacted amazon and asked if i could keep the taupe and then order beeswax at the same price and they said ok. so two pairs of wallabees for $90 is slick indeed.

deltad 10-20-2013 10:19 PM

these things are $30 at my Burlington coat factory. Just saw them yesterday
