Less crowded? You haven't been to Frys :teehee:.. In Woodland Hills, CA.. The line is so big, it goes around all corners of the store and them some. Then once you're in and trying to checkout? Forget it! The lines all go around inside the store.. Scary stuff :crylol:

spade_check 11-26-2013 11:19 PM

op doesnt know what he is talking about. Frys is on walmarts level. its just frikkin nuts on black friday. you have a better chance scoring one from gamestop.

kuroneco 11-27-2013 07:25 AM

Great deal, but no way fry's is less crowded.

Mr.Quad 11-27-2013 07:41 AM

Have you been to Frys B&M on Black Friday?, absolute madhouse, and when you finally get in line to pay, I assure you there will be a 30 mintue to hour wait. Insane amount of time considering there is like 30 registers open that day.

I would gladly pay the extra $2 at Gamestop.com to stay at home and get my code electronically, and use right away.

Intake 11-27-2013 07:54 AM

Frys checkout line on black Friday = tour around the entire store.. They make you go around the almost all the aisles in the store except the porn section

My understanding is that you can redeem several at a time and they stack.

lizh0412 11-27-2013 07:59 AM

I don't know where all you guys live but the year before last we were passing by Frys on our way home and saw that they were not busy so we were like hey why not go in. Ended up getting a couple of PS3 and Xbox 360 games for $15 and a few other things that we wanted for really cheap. I'm in Texas so I think I might try them out this year.

Im in also in TX, Dallas area, and you may not see a line outside but there mos def a line inside, a very, very long line. The Frys I go too are always crowded on the weekend, and could hardly find someone to even help on a freaking normal Saturday.

The only way im buying the a PS+ card from Frys is if GS sells out online, and even then I have several B&M GS's near me ....6 location before I even make it to Frys's.

May stash one today behind Mr Magoriums Wonder Emporium :)

Sort of. Frys is doing their entire black friday online with sales at different times. You "reserve" it online and go pick it up the next day.

Whitematter 11-27-2013 05:06 PM

Playstation Plus is good for free games and has been getting better in the last few years.

You won't have to. They're going to let you buy/reserve online starting tomorrow morning. Unfortunately for the PS+ cards (this is what I am getting too) we can't just get the downloadable codes. Still have to go battle the crowd, but getting your item is evidently guaranteed if you buy online tomorrow.

xtrancex 11-27-2013 09:39 PM

What does it mean instore only? we have to wait in line at the store on Thursday? But it says all stores are closed that time. I'm confused. O_O

chasemyaccord 11-27-2013 10:17 PM

I would gladly pay $2 more to deal with GameStop crowds instead of Fry's stampedes. Hot deal though OP.

I'm starting to think the same thing. And Gamestop opens the deal tomorrow at midnight. I might just do that so I can stay in all day Friday. All I want is this one deal.

And the more I think of it, this Fry's "easy preorder online Thursday, pick up Friday" deal is just something to lock you into that long line because you already committed.

dubbfoolio 11-28-2013 09:08 AM

Site is way overloaded. Anyone have a direct link?

MySD012 11-28-2013 09:10 AM

I don't even think it exist unless someone can provide a link. Searched it up on frys and nothing is coming up. OOS?

Phreaker47 11-28-2013 01:37 PM

Forget dealing with Frys or gamestop tomorrow, Amazon will have $29.99 1yr PS+ cards (instant digital download) available at midnight. Game over.

dragonwang 11-28-2013 03:19 PM

GameStop is a much better deal. Don't have to stand in line and gas > going to Frys.

Krazen1211 11-28-2013 03:26 PM

Best buy has these as well at $29.99. 5% cashback from discover.
