BzzAgent 101 - FAQ

What is BzzAgent? BzzAgent is a Word-of-Mouth marketing company based in Boston. Their home office is referred to as the Central Hive.
How does it work? (In a nutshell) Based on demographics, people are selected to participate in various campaigns. If you agree to join the campaign, you'll receive a package of product or coupons. You only responsibility is to talk openly about the products (either positive or negatively) and report back to BzzAgent via their online form or online video submission.

Do NOT WAIT FOR EMAIL INVITES FROM BZZ AGENT!! Check your Bzz home page daily on a regular basis especially when you know campaigns are popping up. Email invites are often late and you will risk finding the campaign full if you wait. Also when you do, LOG OUT of your Bzz account after you've checked, and clear your cache on occasion. Don't ask why it works... it just does sometimes.
There is no *good time of day* to check or anything specific like that. Check several times a day if you can especially when we're talking about new campaigns showing up.
Tee

Kit shipping info: Info about shipments is under "My Profile" and then "My Shipments" HOWEVER PLEASE take note... it is rarely accurate in any way at all. You may often receive your kits and then notice the shipment page will still say "in progress", so... if it says it's been shipped and shows a date, that is usually pretty accurate. Otherwise, it will get to you when it gets there.

For specifics, refer to the BzzAgent FAQ

I have a Golden Key. Now what?
A Golden Key is only available to be used when the opportunity is offered to you. Typically it's when they have extra spots in a campaign that you otherwise wouldn't have qualified for. You can't pick and choose which campaign you want to use it on, you have to wait for them to ask you if you'd like to use it. REPEAT: I know Bzz makes it sound like you can CHOOSE ANY CAMPAIGN to use your key on but you cannot; you can only accept a campaign they OFFER you in which they ALSO SHOW IT REQUIRES THE KEY

ALL campaigns are listed via a link on your own BzzAgent page on the Bzz site. Please visit to see what other campaigns are currently active.

Curious as to why your Bzzscore went down?
Check to make sure you dont have any new surveys that have popped up on your survey page.
Also, to quote Jessica from BzzAgent Support:

"BzzScores can fluctuate on a daily basis as they are based on activity over the past 365 days. So depending on which activities you do or which ones drop off your account as it has been more than 365 days, your BzzScore will fluctuate."

That is what I am thinking... could be wrong..lol

Ha, gotta love the marketers! I again say that the marketers are supposed to pay me, and not the other way around. If CarMD is unable or unwilling to provide their vehicle health system for free, then BzzAgent should foot the bill, not the people asked to test the product. I don't care how much they lower the price. Any PT that I have to pay for is now and will forever be a FAIL!

Thanks for the update. I just contacted them about getting the difference back. If they don't I'll just cancel it. I can easily buy these from Amazon.

It's a as seen on TV product. I went to the website and it's very difficult finding any pricing on the item. At checkout, it shows it being $120. Now, I didn't see any mention about any memberships. But, I only glanced at the site.

But, I won't worry about it. I passed on the campaign and told em why.

FYI, I just got my $10 Amazon Appstore gift card for the Mobilewalla app download! :)

hongsc 08-09-2011 01:37 PM

That's strange. I just received a reply about my inquiry about CarMD. They said it's $56 and not $50.

trin1201 08-09-2011 02:40 PM

Heads up all....

Just got into the John Grisham Bzz Campaign......a choice of one of two books, either The Firm (I read it already) or The Confession. And if you are one of the top 1,000 Agents to spread the buzz about John Grisham you’ll receive his next book The Litigators before it’s released to the public on October 25th......

I also was offered CarMD for $56.........still kicking it around.....maybe my DH will want it?!?

MusicLady 08-09-2011 05:26 PM

Not sure if I'm going to sign up for this one or not. Any thoughts?

I have no idea what is in the bzzkit since it was early invite for me. Probably just a pack of socks if even that. Not sure if worth using a key unless you have a bunch of them. (or you really like free socks) LOL.

Anyone else get in this? do you know what is in the bzzkit?

I used a key. At least socks can be worn or made into sock monsters. I hope they send a Q for the socks because I would prefer to choose my own socks rather than have them chose the wrong size for me.

I took it as my cat is over 11. I will be careful though as I don't like to feed my cat with food that has corn as a filler.

I'm in. As long as the first ingredient isn't corn, I'm happy. My oldest cat is 13 and feisty as ever. :lmao:

My cat is 17 years old  and has no health problems except some minor arthritis, but I am sure that is normal at her age. No invite as of yet though. :( I think when I did the survey you could only select one age range and I selected the age of my younger cat.

mamegoma 08-11-2011 05:24 PM

Still nothing from Itemize. Guess we can't expect much from them in terms of being a reliable company.

Yep I have 4 cats myself from a 9 month old kitten to my 13 year old big guy and they only gave the option for one age. I just got lucky that and chose my oldest cat. Animals are a blessing . God bless your 17 year old kitty . You are definitely doing something right.

No. Chicken by-product is real meat (dry, ground, rendered clean parts of the chicken carcass). When corn is the first ingredient it means there is little to no meat in the food.

BransonBel 08-11-2011 07:33 PM

I'm in on the science diet campaign and would love to try the car md one but not sure if I want to spend the $! :shake:

Thank you! She spent the first 12 years of her life as an outside cat at my parents, so she is one lucky cat. Even has two bee-bees in her side to prove it! Animals are indeed a blessing!

This CarMD started at $60 then went down to $56 (I bought it at this price). A SD member posts it's down to $50. Contact Bzz and they told me it's not true. Now it's back to $60? It's been over a week and I still haven't received it and they charged me since day 1. A bit disappointing.

The cost hasn't been changing, it's always been $56. Here's the information to join the CarMD campaign for anyone who's curious:

Learn more before you join

Imagine knowing what's wrong with your vehicle and how much repairs will cost before heading to the shop- empowering, right? That's CarMD® in a nutshell. Just plug the handheld device into your car, and let it access the vehicle's computer system. You'll find out what the problem is (in layman's terms), how to fix it, and the estimated cost of repairs. So car maintenance decisions (and saving money) become a cinch! Please note that this product is only available for vehicles from 1996 or newer.

To participate in this BzzCampaign there is a small fee of $56* for the product (includes product cost, shipping, tax and all additional processing fees). For this cost, you'll receive the CarMD Vehicle Health System®, which includes one CarMD device, one extension cable (their most common accessory) and a premium web membership giving you access to all of your vehicle's warranty, recall AND full technical service bulletins. This package normally retails for $179.65 with shipping and handling. This is an exclusive discount of 70% off the suggested retail price (this is an even better deal than CarMD® employees get!). That's a ridiculously low price, considering CarMD®:

Saves you time and money on vehicle maintenance
Helps consumers make educated decisions about vehicle health and maintenance
Has an easy-to-use design
Reads fault codes and puts them in easy-to-understand language
Provides estimated repair costs for your vehicle's particular year, make and model in your area.

Check your page: I just had an invite for Hill's Science Diet Senior 11+ Age Defying Cat Food. I don't know much about this, but I accepted, because even if MY kitties can't eat it, the kitties at the local Humane Society can! (And I'm sure the HS would be happy to provide any needed updates/buzz.)

Hmm: Guess I should read back a little further before posting...Ooops! :blush2:

I had given up on BzzAgent, but read about the Science Diet campaign, so paid the site a visit last week. There were 8 or 10 mini-surveys (Mypoints!), one of which was the cat one. Rec'd an invite today for the Science Diet for my 12yo rescue! She loves getting mail and I'll be interested to see if she like the Science Diet and if it affects her behavior.
Thank you all for posting about this campaign!

I apologize for this question, since I am sure it is something that was covered 6 months ago.... but, I haven't been checking the site all that closely, and just noticed that on my status page, it doesn't look like any more keys can be obtained.

Did the "earning of keys" go away a long time ago? TIA

 Yep, they no longer issue the golden keys, but the keys you do have will never expire. I think it was around April when they announced this, as many were not happy with having keys just sitting there, but it is not in our control to use them for campaigns we want. I guess they couldn't figure out how to make us happy so they are not issuing them anymore!

I guess they couldn't figure out how to make us happy so they are not issuing them anymore!

:wave2: Thank you!! I figured that was the case..... I still have plenty of keys, and considering I have not had an opportunity to use even one of them this year, I am guessing I will "always" have plenty of keys. ha!

YES!!

From the AAFCO:

Chicken by-product meal consists of the ground, rendered, clean parts of the carcass of slaughtered chicken, such as necks, feet, undeveloped eggs and intestines, exclusive of feathers, except in such amounts as might occur unavoidable in good processing practice.

Examples: Chicken by-product meal is considered an inferior source of protein for cats. Although cats may eat a certain amount of by-products "in the wild," the most nutritious commercial cat foods will show a named meat, such as "chicken" as the first ingredient, rather than "chicken by-product meal."

.....

The major grocery store brands are all junk and filler. Eukaneuba and Science Diet are no better than 9lives or Friskies. Good luck finding any real meat in them. Feet, beaks, necks, fat, bones, feathers, corn, wheat, dyes and preservatives--YUM!

Look for foods by Wellness Core, Instinct, Felidae, Blue Buffallo, Taste of the Wild, Natural Balance, Before Grain (Merrick), Chicken Soup, Diamond Naturals, etc. Deals pop up on here once in a while that make some of these foods cheaper than grocery store brands.

They also fill most of these foods with wheat and corn fillers, which a good majority of cats are actually allergic to. Cats also have a hard time digesting many carbohydrates like this. Our cat was constantly leaving us "presents" (aka: puke) in the morning. We switched to a corn-free food and no more presents! I've had good results with Blue Buffalo Wilderness (but it's pretty high in fat), and actually more recently Purina Beyond (Purina finally made a corn-free food with Chicken as the first ingredient...woo!).

Just a heads up, I received an email today to join the TrueCare campaign (which I received before but never joined) this one was different because at the bottom it said need some extra motivation? How about this: the top performing agents who join this campaign and activate their account may be eligible for an invitation to the upcoming KINDLE bzzcampaign and yes members of that campaign WILL get a FREE kindle!

Praying I get that one!!

Got an invite to stylefind.com well I joined (there is no incentive at all) to check it out, its a site that finds products and prices on items on alot of website the problem it doesn't work! every single item I tried to link to the website came back not found, or didn't load or had errors? this is one of the worst campaigns yet! what has happen to buzz? I was just excited to get any invite from them at this point, but come on this blows!

I got the same kit as you. The crew pair is already in his drawer because I won't wear crew. He did comment on the pink toes, but since they weren't too small, they're now his. I wish Bzz would have let us choose what socks we wanted to receive, but at least he doesn't mind having pink toes.

1 little honey comb away from SweetBee status! I'm stoked, although I'm not exactly sure why, since it will be the end of my climbing ladder. I need a good campaign to come through that I can use my little golden keys on. Hope ya'll are having a wonderful day!

SLickCate 08-24-2011 09:56 AM

Bzz posted on Facebook that new campaigns are on the way, wonder if any are really good? I have the StyleFind invite, really don't want it. Also have the Hill's Science Diet, but I don't have a cat! I'm thinking I should accept these though, since it seems like I get more campaigns when I already have a few going.

Bunch of good Campaigns opening up in the coming days. Keep an eye out on this page, your inbox, etc. You ready? Take a guess what they will be!

How do you know you're being offered a campaign to use your golden key on? In that scroll box on the front page - is that where you'll see the opportunity?

In the e-mail invitation this is what it will say...

Heads up! You can join this BzzCampaign using your Golden Key That is how you know if they want you to use your golden key. Usually most campaign invites come from e-mail invites.

But earlier (maybe the wiki) it says to stalk the home page because the campaign may be full by the time you get the email. I was also told that by bzzagent customer service. That's why I'm trying to figure out how you can tell when looking at the home page.

Thanks

I *think* I understand. The thing scrolls from left to right/right to left - whatever. Under that I have 3 boxes: My Bzz Campaigns, My Surveys, Agent Training. No golden keys are dispaying on the page currently. But when I'm invited to a campaign using my golden key, it will be on that main page, underneath the scroll thingy.

Thanks y'all. Apparently I've never been invited to use a golden key LOL.

I actually check the account menu on the upper right of page every time I log on. It shows the invites without scrolling through that other section. Either way works, but this is quicker for me. Also, if you click that honeycomb in that same window, it takes you right to the status pages, where you can check all your history.

Next, I got the Hill's Science Diet for my "old man" kitty (my first baby!)
I was given Bil-Jac yesterday for my sweet doggie girl......
This morning I was accepted into the TrendMicro Titanium that I can't wait to download onto my new laptop....school starts monday so it's PERFECT!!

I got this invite today also and turned it down. I checked this dog food out on dogfoodavisor it only got 2 stars. My dog's itchy skin is under control right now, so I don't want to change his diet.

I also told them about the review on dog food advisor and told them they should offer us better quality food for our fur babies. :teehee:

I'll probably never get another invite from them again.

Starlight529 08-26-2011 12:08 PM

I just signed up for the scrubbing bubbles for the toliet. It kinda sounds like the srubbing bubbles for the shower that we tested some years back

tstarks420 08-26-2011 12:13 PM

I got an invite to use my key for scrubbing bubbles, but last time they offered a chance to use my key I turned it down and got a regular invite for the same campaign anyway.

Not taking the chance of that happening again just for what is likely a drop-in toilet scrubbing tablet or something.

Looks like it is a spray system with a device you put next to the toilet and step on to release the cleaner. Also offered this with key... but I think I will save it for something else and take my chances.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...H3FCADC6JB

Setup is a Snap
The Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Toilet Bowl Cleaner system installs quickly and easily. Simply place the base on the floor and snap the Action Sprayer nozzle over your toilet rim--the nozzle securely fits any size bowl. Insert the included Scrubbing Bubbles One Step refill, then place the sleeve over the refill and you're all set. No batteries required.

catallah 08-26-2011 12:18 PM

Also got a key invite chance for the scrubbing bubbles, I am also going to turn it down for now. I only have one key left so I am not going to waste it.

I read on Facebook that someone from the hive (told a BzzAgent) said everyone will get a chance or two to use their keys. At some point they will no longer redeem keys. Since you had the opportunity to use them.

So I guess just like bonus campaigns, it the opportunity to use the keys. Its the opportunity to use your gold key? So if you don't use them (because you pass or heck don't even know you had a offer), they will just sit there forever because at some point they will stop offering key invites? I dunno.

Long dry spell for Bzz for me...like 6 months. Either I get offers that I have to pay for, or do not fit my demographics...( or my cats..) Hills Science would be great, but my kitties are not seniors.

I would use a key for a campaign that helps my toilet ..sheesh seems like keys are nonsense anyways. Bzz made it seem like, 'you earned a KEY, your special'..but seems like its not true since I have a few now...just sitting there. I want one of those keys to open some BZZ.

A chance or 2? I have EIGHT keys!! Gee, I'm so glad I saved them for the good campaigns that they never offered me, and now they're gonna just go away.

Thanks for posting this; I'll try to use up as many as I can so I get SOMETHING for them... where's that Scrubbing Bubbles invite...

Rec'd the Science Diet Senior Age Defying 11+ cat food Bzzz kit today!
Included:

-1 coupon for 1 free 3.5# bag of food
-5 ea coupons for $3 off any Hills Science Diet Senior Age Defying 11+ cat food exp 10/31/2011
-6 ea Feeding Instruction guides
-1 ea Bzz guide and letter

The food is on sale at Petsmart for $10.99 with your Petsmart card. I also had a $3 Birthday gift coupon when you spend $10, for my girl from the Petsmart club. She turned 12yo this month. We celebrate her birthday as the day that I brought her home from the shelter as a "at LEAST 5 yo" cat, per the Vet.

As a Slickdealer, used the free coupon as the purchase and picked up $3 of her favorite FF Appetizers (with a buy 3, get one free coupon) for a total of $1.54 (used a Petsmart GC to pay that I bought at Giant Eagle to receive fuel perks).

She loves mail and new food, so was very interested in the new bag. I always give her a teaspoon of a new food on her "treat mat" and then pour the recommended daily amount into her dish. She loves the taste so far. Changed the litter box so I'll be able to check out that part of the new food equation.

Please post how your cat/s feel about the new food!

Did it come USPS? Mine says shipped Aug 11th but I didn't get any mail today maybe because of the storm even though it hasn't hit us yet.

Mine came yesterday through the regular mail. Unfortunately, no free product coupon for me. I emailed them about it but like every other time a coupon is missing, I'm not expecting anything. How hard is it to put crap in an envelope? Sigh.

Wow what a bummer. The free coupon is the whole point of the program. How can they miss putting that in the envelope and how are you supposed to buzz without it ? I once never received a Covergirl Bzzkit I was supposed to get. I e-mailed them but kept getting canned responses and gave up on it. Good luck I hope that you get the coupon and I hope that I get mine too but I'm not holding my breath. Too bad because this is something I would enthusiastically buzz because I have 4 cats and I belong to several cat lover groups.

MommaBelle 08-28-2011 03:25 PM

Same for me, but even longer. My last campaign that was Thomas' Bagel Thins in January. Everything else has been something I had to pay for :nono1:
I have a dog & two cat and didn't get any pet invites. 4 golden keys sitting with nothing even offered. :(

I guess they would have to believe that you didnt actually get it and werent after another free coupon.

If anything is ever missing out of your kit or your kit never shows they are going to think your trying to scam them because everyone would sell their own mother for some pet food.

Haven't seen what I consider a good campaign in a while, and they had this posted on their Facebook page last week:

Bunch of good Campaigns opening up in the coming days. Keep an eye out on this page, your inbox, etc. You ready? Take a guess what they will be!

If the person mailing them out didnt put them in the package you wont get them. They may have just kept them for themselves.

i have yet to see a single person have 'missing' stuff replaced.

Yes, I am afraid that will happen, but I will write a Bzz Report about that, wonder if I will get 50 points and what their comment will be?? :lmao::lmao:
I emailed Jono yesterday and no reply from him.

Heads up all...just saw on Facebook....early invites for Wurther's Caramels (I think I spelled it right) just went out....

I didn't get it.....but it sounds like I want it, NUM!!

MarPat 08-30-2011 01:46 PM

In the hope that I do not jinx myself by saying this.....

I am actually in 4 campaigns now: Dr Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles, Science Diet 11+. J. Grisham and this morning, got the Bil-Jac.

Wow! In all the many, many years I have been with Bzz Agent I have NEVER had this many campaigns at once. My last campaign was the Cover Girl Luxe from April and before that the Dymo from October 2010 etc. etc.

I hope this is a positive sign of things to come. Remember to do ALL your surveys and to collect your points for the surveys and for your Bzz reports that you submit.

missing coupons

Hi BzzAgents-

My name is Lynn, and I work for BzzAgent. I check in on this board regularly, and today I saw your discussion about missing coupons. I just wanted to let you know that the people preparing our BzzKit never "steal" your coupons. We're just preparing so many, that mistakes are sometimes made. Of course, we apologize if you've found your BzzKit to be incomplete. In that case, you should always send an email to support@bzzagent.com. We don't always have extra supplies, but if we do - be it BzzKits or coupons - we'll always be happy to send a replacement.

Again, I check in on the board regularly, so if you ever have questions, feel free to post them and I'll be happy to track down answers as best I can.

Thanks for Bzzing!

BzzLynn

I got the same email... Would rather have Amazon anyway... :) Here is the email I got..

Dear BuzzAgent,

We continue to be limited by the Apple iTunes store on the number of email gift certificates that we can issue. We are limited to 50 per month. This is unacceptable and we apologize for the delay. To resolve this delay, we are shifting gears and will issue Amazon email gift certificates to you instead. I hope that you find this acceptable.

The $10 Amazon gift certificates will be delivered to your email address within the next 72 hours. Please check your SPAM files for the certificates.

We hope that you are enjoying the Mobilewalla app and thank you for helping us get the word out. The Mobilewalla app is becoming very popular around the world and we think you had a big role in making that happen – Thank you!

Pretty sure that comment was made tongue in cheek. Of course mistakes happen, coupons stick together, people lose count, etc. It's just there are NEVER replacement coupons/products mailed out. As such, it has become an inside joke on the boards.

Hello whimseys,

Thanks for the email. We are terribly sorry to hear your Hill's® Science Diet® Senior 11+ Age Defying™ Cat Food BzzKit was missing the free voucher. Unfortunately we are all out of stock for this one so we cannot reship a voucher to you. :(

We do hope you keep filling out the surveys on your agent home page so that we can match you to future campaigns.

I wonder if people should start emailing Hill's Science Diet directly?

Ya hear that BzzAgent (we know you float around these boards)...

I bet the manufacturer's wouldn't be too happy to know every other person didn't get their coupon.

All sarcasm aside, this happens far too often and Bzz does NOTHING to make it better.

It certainly doesn't make me want to Bzz more than the bare minimum.

Indeed, very frustrating. Curious that no one says "I only got 4 $3 off coupons, not 5." It's always the free product coupon that's missing.

MOOSE33156 09-04-2011 12:31 PM

You don't want to know what the prescription Hill's costs then! About $26 for a 8 lb bag at my vet's office. Diabetic (low carb - no grain) formula.

Not this exact one, but you get the idea:

Mrseric 09-06-2011 01:18 PM

I just rec'd my Scrubbing Bubbles kit....it doesn't fit my toilet, the rim on toilet is too wide. The suction cup thing does no good it just falls right on the floor if I let go of it...don't know what I'm gonna do with it, there isn't a regular cap on the can so that I could at least use the spray the regular way by hand. darn it...

*on a side note, I did pick up the Hill's Science cat food today. It was on sale at PetSmart for $10.99 for the 3.5lb bag. I would NEVER pay that much for cat food for such a teeney amount, we go through a lot of fodd for that price!

At 11AM EST we launch The Daily Bzz program, a new way for Agents to get the chance to get involved. Our 1st will be for the brand new Kindle. Agents will then have until 5PM EST to earn a chance for an invite to this upcoming Campaign.

The plan is to launch a new Daily Bzz program every weekday @11AM. You can see the next 5 days on the page.

FYI we're testing this out for a few weeks & there may be some kinks.

He tried to send me the invitation link, but it wouldn't let me apply. Big Bummer, since I think this thing looks kinda' cool. :(

Anyone see the thing on the side of the site to invite yourself to new campaigns?

I received the Werthers Caramel invite today! I had stopped Bzzing and now the Science Diet aging and this one!

My cat loves the Science Diet also. This is a mixed blessing because when I brought her home, she had "empty dish" anxiety and would eat.eat, and eat. It's been 7 years now, and this is the first time since the first year that I've had to limit her food intake so she won't gain.

The litter box has shown some improvement in the size of the one. She has been having a little more trouble with furballs though. She's was eating the Purina One & Beyond (and she still gets her small portion of can at "people meal" times), so it wasn't the hairball formula cat food. Has anyone else's cat had more troubles with furballs since switching?

The plan is to launch a new Daily Bzz program every weekday @11AM. You can see the next 5 days on the page.

Just saw this posted on Facebook......

Ok, not really sure I understand what is going on with this. I am a Bzz agent and checked the site and my account, but still really do not get it. What exactly are we supposed to do and when? Thanks for any help.

Sadly, the Kindle "option" is over for today;)....BzzAgent is trying a new way to to get their top agents into campaigns they REALLY want by offering a NEW campaign ON THE BZZ SITE at 11am (looks like daily/weekday)....you click the I WANT THIS button and you START BZZING RIGHT THEN.....for the next 4 or 5 hours you do everything possible to attract as much attention as you can to your posts, pictures, blogs or video reviews....so much so that "Jono" will select you and you PRE-BUZZ for the actual campaign.....It's a brilliant marketing plan...generate a ton of BUZZ before anyone even knows if they're getting it!

Hope that helps.....this was just a short version of what I understand and I may be wrong....guess we'll all find out more as time goes by....:woot:

We have switched cat foods a few times over the years and each and every time we get hairball "presents" for a day or so after the switch. I would suggest doing the switch gradually. 10% new + 90% old the first day, then gradually increasing the amount of new stuff until it's all new food.

Did anyone actually get IN to the Kindle campaign?

Starzinthesky 09-08-2011 09:45 AM

I don't use Twitter so I had no chance with the Kindle campaign. I'm not a fan of this new way of getting into campaigns at all.

I'm not either, especially when I have 3 Golden Keys just sitting there for so long. I had more, but used a few of them on not so great campaigns. It would be nice if us with keys could somehow get in one of these better campaigns.

That sounds right to me. So maybe they have only a very few Kindle's and get hundreds of their bzz agents working pre-campaign :shake: I am not liking this much at all

I did do the switch gradually. The hairballs started only when she was at the 3/4 amount. But thank-you for your feedback and repped!

Thanks! Not liking this much myself. Hope this does not reduce the normal way for us to get into campaigns. I dislike anything where I feel I have to compete to such a large, over blown, degree to get something and then still have to do work for the company. Don't get me wrong, I love Bzzing but just select us normally and we will be happy to Bzz for the company that gave us a sample. All this "see who is better than whom" type of thing is discouraging. Many of us can Bzz quite extensively within our own little worlds and are not part of, or choose not to be part of, huge social media online types of things.

So when companies make products/campaigns/rewards dependent on Facebook, massive over the top Bzzing, or whatever, they are in my opinion also losing out on what can be loyal consumers who are willing to do Bzz, or the like, on a daily and consistent basis. Now, I am admittedly biased in this regard and older than most of you, so my view point will be slanted. However, I can't help but think when it is this type of competition, how true and how heartfelt are the results they are getting? Please, I am not being critical of those of you who enjoy this type of thing. That is today's world and I understand that! I just think a business also needs to not forget that there are others out here that are willing to promote their goods in a different manner.

LOL I hear ya! And the Apple Core thing sucks but my dog LOVES it. It's been the only 'toy' that he hasn't been able to chew up.

Hmmmm.... maybe I am in the few but I found that the Mio campaign that is open right now was pretty easy to place my "I want In" I have a review on sheknows...pasted that link to the twitter share page and then It said I was done....now weather I'll get it or not. But as long as it doesn't interfere with the normal way to get a campaign...I don't mind

I think it will be easy to say you want in but when it is a more expensive item up for bzz then I think it will be a bzzagent cat fight to get in lol :lmao: For me jumping hoops and doing back flips just for a chance at an item to try and bzz about is getting a bit out of hand. Just my opinion of course I do not have a twitter acct. so I am not even able to try to jump flip etc. maybe it will turn out to be a great thing :)

I've always wanted one of those furry little tribble plush toys. I'm probably too old to display it though so it would sit in a box :(

Sunny_Bella 09-09-2011 06:30 AM

I refuse to jump through hoops and act foolish in order to be a part of a campaign! The things I've seen ppl do and say for a chance at getting noticed for a campaign is crazy! I have a life!! Fulltime college, and a high demanding job, much less being a mom to a 5yr old and pregnant to boot! I don't have the time to sit on FB and Twitter and beg, borrow, plot, and bride Bzz for a chance to be a part of anything. I've been a BzzAgent since 2007, I am at the top of the beehive and have 4 golden keys just sitting...this is just nuts!

Maybe they are telling him to trade you in

Does it say anywhere how your supposed to so this interest, bump up their 'likes' on Facebook to enter a sweepstakes,

Read the rest of thread i guess unless you want the BS campaigns with no kit and sign up for so and so creditcard and then bzz about it (which bzz then gets a refferal payment for). Most of those have been the standard offers of those companies (nothing special for bzzagents) and then they expect you to write reports to promote them. BZZ will now become a sweepstake to even enter a campaign. Of course you are not even getting even the measly 5 mypoints to compensate you for that time you spent spamming social media and with 1000's of agents a snowballs chance in hell of getting picked. The only people picked will be the ones who have time all day to spam social media, hardly a demographic id want as a company.

There arent even criteria in place to determine whats considered a valid contribution, it is all pretty friggen subjective.
Just because a company has 15000 likes on facebooks doesnt mean the product is any good its because they handed 15000 coupons out to those who click 'like'
I dont use twitter because i am not 13 and really dont care to get a minute to minute play by play of every bodily function thats occuring to a person.
