H-E-B Coupon Policy
At H-E-B, we know how important it is for you to maximize every dollar you spend with us. Coupons are a big part of that, so below we have outlined our guidelines for your convenience.



H-E-B accepts the following types of coupons:

•Manufacturer issued coupons obtained from printed publications (newspaper, FSI, magazines, etc)
•H-E-B Issued coupons
•Manufacturer-sponsored coupons (Type M coupon; has an 'M' in bottom left corner)
•Store-sponsored coupons (Type S Coupon; has an 'S' in the bottom left corner)
•Big Savings coupons (Type B coupons; has a 'B' in the bottom left corner)
•The above mentioned H-E-B issued coupons are typically
•Available at store level and typically yellow in color
•Generated by a coupon printer at the register and provided with customer receipt
•Distributed via direct mail to customer households or other printed publications

Please consider the following guidelines and limitations:

•Coupons can only be redeemed for items, brands, and sizes as specified by the requirements of the coupon.
•Only one manufacturer coupon per item is permitted.

•H-E-B will combine store sponsored yellow coupons with manufacturer coupons for the same product

For the OM weiners there are coupons out for $1.00 off of 2 (expires 8/10/08) which makes them only .50 a pkg wyb in sets of 2.

For those of us with left over Loreal BOGO Qs.....does HEB let you get two free when there's a BOGO sale and you use a BOGO q like CVS and Walgreens do?

no. their bogos are with their instore coupons, which are labeled as manu. q's and won't combine. it's sad.

Oh, another cheap deal are the .09 cents J J kid's cotton swabs after coupon. There is an in-store coupon for $1.50 off any JJ toiletery (spelling ?) and it works on the $1.59 swabs.

When I was running these deals, only 1 store near me had the $4 price everyone else was posting, most mine were higher, so as is standard for HEB, I guess ymmv on pricing:O

I agree about asking if the cat/coupon machine is working. This will also save you a lot of time. Of course, I get a look like they are dealing with a CRAZY lady.

Yikes. Not cool. When I was an HEB cashier, a lot of people would get annoyed by getting 4 or 5 of these print-outs with their receipt, and would say "nah, I don't wan it" so I'd just give them to the next customer. Most of the printouts back then were advertising but hey, 20% at Payless is still 20%. I never got why people wouldn't at least want the choice of savings :confused:

Oh, and I tried the BTFE deal at a store without advertisement and it worked. Took a chance since I was already there. I'm guessing it's working all over Austin.

Still recovering for last Tuesday's huge haul, daily tasks and working on the weekend that I seriously don't have any energy to go out tonight and finish up the PG promo with a BANG! :D Though, it defeits the purpose of my coupon order of $40+ bucks! Ouch!! Hmm....I can just see DH's expression when I mention that I "need" to go to HEB tonight.:lol:

Ugh...I figured out what I did wrong last night. I thought it was $25 not $30. Oh well...at least I still have a $15 left.

Last night with my purchase I got a cat for $1.50 off Skinny Cow boxes of candy (I bought the buy Skinny Cow cup ice cream and get free candy deal), $1.50 off two fun size bags of Nestle candy, and the $2/5 GM cereals CAT.

Hubby has almost finished a box of Chocolate Cheerios so I have to go get more sometime but we're bracing for storms so not sure if I'm going to make a last P&G run tonight.

Just got home from my crazy coupon day! I worked half a day and shopped at 4 HEBs the rest of the day. DH joined me for my last 2 P&G transactions this evening and it went well. I was so happy that these 2 transactions were effortless because the other 7 transactions were not so easy. My day was full of refunds and re ringing up and manager intervention. However, my dining room table is full of P&G and BTFE products. So now I'm sitting in my PJs watching TV, trying to figure out my BTFE strategy. I've got alot of $10 cats to roll and I want to use them wisely on the BTFE deal and cheap beef!

Let's hope for some great YQ deals next week!

I see the Buy Pantene Get Styler YQ is back.... why couldn't they just keep it for last week???? I also see $2 YQ for any Revlon. If it's a "B" then it's a good deal again with the nail polishes. I think the MQ expires on 6/30 so I don't think we'd have time to order and make full use of it. They ran out quick last time around......

Anyone know the price range for the brisket?

I believe that the cheapest Brisket was priced around $17.00 at my store. I didn't have a lot of time to look, so there might be cheaper ones out there.

I received a catalina coupon for FREE Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss Coffee Creamer today.

I have no idea what triggered it. I only had fresh produce in my order, so I think that it might have been from the customer in front of me in line.

If anyone else had this print out, do you know what triggered it?

Rubbermaid - $1.67 - $1.50 YC = $.17 OOP. Don't know what size of container it is, but someone brought it to my attention, so thought I'd let you all know. Only kind I don't get is the tiny ones as I have no use for them. But some of you may need them, so thought I'd post just in case.

I know this deal isn't as good as what you could get these products for during the P&G deal, but there is now a YQ for buy olay regenerist and get secret deod. free. I bought 2 reg. cleansers at $5.97 each used 2 of the $3 man. Qs, 2 secret deod. at $4.22 each and 1 secret body spray for $4.22. I used the B 2 secret deo. and get body spray free man Q. and then I used 2 YQs for free secret deo. wyb olay.

I also picked up some 3 Dial BWs-nice 16 oz bottles for women at $3.66 each and used the $2 man. q and then used a YQ to get free dial bar soap w/each bottle.

I paid with a $10 cat from the P&G deal and some cash-can't find my receipt!

You did super! Sounds like you spent a little over $11 to get over $30 of stuff, plus the 3 dial bar soaps - probably about $35 of stuff. You saved about $24 - plus sales tax! The best thing I like about the B1G1 is not having to pay all that sales tax - it really adds up on the more expensive items.

It's not always about what your OOP is, but that you can use the products you bought. I only did 1 deal with the olay & each olay product came out to about $1.50. Got these for my two daughters; hope like them, if not, it could be a donation to the Women's Shelter. We like most of the Olay products.

I, too, think some of my deals aren't as great as some posted here, but it's okay, we're still saving money, versus paying full price.

Yeah but the actual size on the packaging is 1.25. Had to check the bar code to make sure it was the correct one. Also my stores put there rubbermaid containers in several places throughout the store.

If any of you still have the coupon for $2.00 off Dial Body Wash or Lotion from the 6/12 RedPlum insert, I found Dial NutriSkin Lotion on sale for $1.97 at HEB tonight. It is a 3 oz. bottle...not a large bottle, but definitely bigger than a travel size one...and something that I use a lot!

Thanks for informing us these are in various places in the store. I only noticed the tall cardboard display because it's so eye-catching in my HEB right to the left as you walk in. Thought they were all in the display case.

Have a question for the HEB experts - especially the late Tuesday night shoppers. Noticed new YCs last night when I had to made a quick run for milk & eggs. Are the computers set to accept those new YCs on Tuesday night, or do they become effective Wed AM when the Ad starts?

Saw one comment here that makes me think they may have been effective late last night. Some new YCs caught my attention & I did not think of adding them as I figured they go w/Wed's ad. If someone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

You know I have not tried it but I have by mistake used a YQ that expired on Tue on Wed since they still had them hanging by product. They still worked so guessing they are not too time sentitive...but only YMMV.

Anyone have a good review of this BBQ sauce? I have a good amount of the KC Masterpiece that was free but I'm willing to try something new for 23¢! It could also be a good way for me to reach the $10 mark to use my CATs from last week.

Didn't attempt yesterday was doing too many BTFE deals. Has any1 tried these? I vaguely remember trying them last year, & didn't like 'em.

Also, some Rubbermaid Take Along containers were marked down to $1.29, $1.50 Q worked...took off full amount. There were several displays for the Rubbermaid containers, but the ones that were marked down were on the aisle with the Ziploc bags.

Quick question for those who are doing the JJ deal w/ Car 2 emoviecash I'm not real familiar with emoviecash since typically my theaters aren't included. Trying to weigh options (deal vs. gas) Plus, we're gonna be hitting the theaters hard come July (Cars 2, HP, Transformers)
I know the website saz its equivalent to $5 off 1 ticket toward Cars 2.

1. Can you really only use it toward Cars 2?
2. Has any1 successfully combined multiples toward 1 ticket?

I vaguely remember threads re: multiple Fandago codes for 1 ticket (not in here) but like Hot Deals, etc. Wasn't sure if emoviecash was similar or completely different. Or if there's a thread that you could refer me to. Searched, but couldn't find the answer. Just trying to figure out the best way to use these codes.

Couple of things from my trip today:

1. Rubbermaid q goes through beepless.
2. Revlon q needs cashier intervention.
3. Dial q beeped for me on $1.95 lotion.

I entered in my code to look at the ticket.and it says many places on it for Cars2 and one place is specifically says "Cash ticket is valid for $5.00 toward CARS 2 (while in theaters) ONLY."

I am not aware of any loop holes.

Edit: Did a little searching and found out that our somewhat local drive in has a 3D dbl feature (CARS 2 & Kung Fu Panda 2) Tickets $8 & $5. so $3 for adults & free for kids with our codes. I haven't been to a drive-in since I was a little girl. They also have putt putt for $3/game before the movie. Think we'll make a cheap family nite outta this!

Did the BTFE deal tonight with the Totinos pizza. I used a YQ for buy 4, get a free Go-gurt. I had also found hangtags on 2-liter bottles of Coke and Dr. Pepper from both HEB and Target for $1.00 off Coke when you buy a Deli Pizza Or frozen pizza. So, I threw in 4 different 2-litter Cokes, used 4 $1 Q on each and they went through beeplessly!

Oh, and I also used the MQ for $1/4 pizzas. It all sailed through.

The wording states 1 per transaction, however I used 2 in one transaction now knowing the wording on the back :O and they went through fine. So I guess it'll just be YMMV on if your cashier notices the wording or not.

Oh and I saw a YQ for B1G1 free HEB corn tortillas (20 ct.). They were .79 so it actually comes out cheaper to buy (2) 20 ct. packages than a 40 ct. We use these all the time so :bounce:

Great for making enchiladas! Or cutting up and frying in oil to amke your our corn chips lightly salted afterwards. I've been wanting to attempt to make like a mexican lasagna and the recipes I've seen say to use corn tortillas also.

Called 800# for the P&G rebate. Did 5 of them not 6 as I previously thought. All say "in-process" but I couldn't find one of them. Gave them my info and rep said that I'll receive that missing rebate in 3 to 4 weeks. Now, I'm really just hoping that the other 4 are coming shortly and not ripped by me or another family member. I guess being sneaky wasn't too smart? :lol:

Was looking for another item yesterday; when I noticed I was near the wine, I checked for HTs - not a single one. Then looked down & one (1) lonely $3 was on the floor under the rack. Of course I gave it a home; used it today. Wish they'd have been more plentiful! A great coupon if your store put them out. The very few I found were not at my local HEB.

Jerikay - don't feel bad. Today while shopping at HEB, I realized I had some $1 cpns for Orbit gum & saw the YCs for the Orbit (B1G1). Without reading the YC, I handed the cashier my orbit cpns, couple of other mfg cpns, & then all the YCs. All went well until she got to the B1G1 YC for Orbit. They would not scan & the mgr (on duty) came & looked & told me about the YC policy - I felt ridiculous not taking the time to see that. Anyway, the cashier voided out my mfg orbits, made some other mistakes in deletions & scanned in the YCs. Her line was getting long; when I got home, I realized she had also voided out some good cpns.

Live and learn - I need to be more careful when combining cpns - this cost me a bit. I don't complain as it was my fault for being in a hurry.

That is frustrating because I was just told by a store manager that called corporate that if the coupons scan through the system then the manufacturer has agreed to accept both coupons in the scenerio above. Anyway, I wouldn't fight it if the coupons weren't scanning together. But it seems every store director/manager has a different take on it. Including corporate.

I did 2 BTFE deals in one transaction and got both CATS and a $5 Movie cash for JJ. Also the 4 YQ I used scanned just fine but it only took off 2, so he had to manually enter 2. All Qs went through perfectly other wise. Even the Crystal Light.

Maybe the unavailability of the spring water is the reason I can't find the coupons for the Crystal Light - I got a couple of the deals; now cpns are no longer available. Thought just my store was out- shelves are still empty - looked today.

OK I had a much better HEB shopping day-I tried my fantastic transaction again, (at another HEB-will stay away from the other one for a while) only I threw in a $10 HEB GC and paid w/a rebate GC! No manager intervention needed. Then I used that $10 HEB GC to do my other two transactions. My other 2 transactions were actually double BTFE trannies! I'm a much happier SDer today.

I was able to do a HEB sausage deal with the YQ get mission tortillas and Plochman's mustard free. I found a small package of lean beef and pork sausage for $3.78 and used a $3 winetag! No problems. I also found some $1.29 rubbermaid bowls-so threw 2 in each transaction. I even got a $5 cat from JJ for the movies.

OT-If anyone shops at WAGs I found cheap Loreal lipgloss regular $8.99 on clearance for $2.29-used the $2 man. q and got 22 lipglosses at various WAGs.

So it has been verified that we can double Box Tops transactions (20 items for 2 cats) and get them both? I've got to use up my $15 P&G cat and doing 2 transactions would be a great way to do that with no oop.

Thanks! I actually went to Guilbeau and then to Culebra and 1604. At Culebra, the cat machine was spitting out coupons without anything printed on them. The cashier was pretty shocked that I wanted to cancel my order and go to another register when I saw that my cats were coming out a blank piece of paper! :lol::lol:

Thanks, I know it has been a little difficult juggling the deals between the stores!! When I got home today and looked at the posts here on SD, I told DH-I forgot the BOGO corn tortillas! I used a $3 hangtag yesterday with no issues. I got the .65c pepper and 1 lb of ground beef.

I used them last night with no beeps, two trannies. I bought the lean ground $3.56 and the seasoning that was 53 cents. So I have no idea:confused:, just thought I would share what I bought and prices in case it helps:)

I had no problems with the $3HT today either. Cheapest spice I cold find was .76 cents, but it's something I can use, so I didn't mind. Less than $1 for a tube of ground beef works. :D

Reading the YC - it is a B - states $4 off wyb any four (4) Chex or Oatmeal Crisp cereals (assorted sizes & varieties). Was hanging right by the Crispix Cereal that I picked up. Clerk scanned it in (have receipt directly in front of me).

The GM coupon (also B) states $4 off wyb any four (4) General Mills Cheerios Cereals (assorted sizes & varieties).

Tried to find the Fiesta seasoning at Randall's in Austin, but could not find it. Ended up taking the HT's to HEB to redeem - needed to get 2 pkgs of meat for daughter's home.

Was able to get several of the Rubbermaid contianers. No 1.5 cups in stock but did find one 1.25 cup at $1.67 and about 8 of the 1 qt bottles for $1.99.

Wanted to mention, Cascadian Organic cereal has BTFE, a $4 off 4 YQ and some of the flavors are $2.47 before the YQ. I am VERY impressed with the Granola and Cinnamon Crunch they have.

Not a steal of a deal, but I guess for granola it's alot better than the price of most of it.

Hope I did not make a mistake of some sort. Picked up 4 boxes of the Kellogg's Crispix last night because the YC was right there. Did not cause a problem on scanner; YC does not state GM or Kellogg's. Wonder if the YC was meant for that box- ? If I get a chance tomorrow, I'll go back & get 4 more & see what happens.

Who puts out Chex? GM or Kellogg's? My children are grown, thus I'm not that familiar w/cereals other than what the grandchildren or we eat & that is limited to a few kinds.

Display at our store only has the large containers left; however, someone mentioned that their store had them in a few locations, so I looked on 2 different aisles & did find some - got several. Look around where other disposable containers are - that's where I found mine.

Ok, went tonight. The $4/4 YQ that I think was being talked about was the $4/4 Chex or Oatmeal Crisp cereals (not Crispix). It was hanging by the rest of the GM cereals at my store tonight so I don't think it was supposed to work on Kelloggs Crispix but maybe it did :confused: The only YQs I saw in the cereal section were the already mentioned GM coupons for the BTFE deal.

Loujong- Don't worry about using it wrong. It happens to us all at some time and if it went through, that makes it even more confusing.

Nothing really too great to report. I had to use my last P&G so I brought my total from $50 down to $2.77. I would offer my BTFE deals but I've been using free Juicy Juice and Toaster Strudel coupons for my deals. I did get a few items for free using the Fresh or Free Guarantee.

Oh Dannimals crush cups were $0.96 after the YQ. They had a whole endcap in the dairy section for them.

I am sooo happy. Just got back from a run, 20 boxes of HH $0 OOP!! (after 5 $1/2 MQ's and $5 CATs in each trans) I did get the CATs today on the Cheesy Mac and Triple cheese. No idea what went wrong yesterday. And I still have 20 more MQs! Gotta get busy! I will probably only keep a couple boxes for me as I don't eat this stuff very often, the rest will be donated. It's a peelie found at Target. $0 OOP is a pretty good deal to me!! :lol:

I don't do Target (nor would any peelie still be around at my store) $0 oop is pretty good but I think the best I could do would be $2.52 (for 9 boxes at $1 plus a Bisquick pouch - $0.75/3 MQs). Not sure how good enough that is for me. But thanks for the idea!

Look at you! Good job-I only had a $0.75/3 Q for HH and thought that was good.

I like the way she helped me immediately"see" the after CAT, YQ, and MQ price for any product on her last P&G promo list. I can now figure out how much an item is going to cost me without having to get my calculator out. Like for BTFE, I've learned to discount the item .50 cents (CAT discount) - subtract any YQ and MQs and I have my AC price. For example, GM cereal at $2.52 - .50 CAT - $1 YQ -.50 MQ = .52 cents :bounce: hths

That would've been nice if I had some of those peelies! Went today and didn't find any. Still a good deal IMHO for $2.52 for 10 products.

Wished l lived closer to Diacorona to be able to trade for those $1/2 HH peelies! :D

Forgot to post, I FINALLY found some $3 HT this weekend. Stopped at the New Braunfels store and their aisle was full of them. I'll be honest to say I picked up 10 though there were more than 40+ visible ones. Gonna stop again this weekend and hopefully, there will have some still there. YES, I finally got some....well, that I found myself. I had been fortunate to get several from a couple of Sder's here. :hug: ~ I almost jumped for joy in search of the pot of gold and unicorn but those weren't around. :lol:

~ What a waste!! Just fiished cleaning out my deep freezer to make room for 45 Totinos and 11 Go-Gurts (things my kids actually will eat WAY before expiry date). Tossed out all my Farmland stockpile (32 bacon, 12 ham steaks, 8 ham cubes, 31 sausage links and some Michael Angelo frozen stuff). They've been at the bottom for a long time and it's about time they were taken out. This was during my first grocery shopping trips, knowledge of these Qs, and shortly after I got my deep freezer. I'm glad I was able to use over half of what I actually got either by us or given to friends. Though, it's a shame I thought I NEEDED to get them all and have a HUGE stockpile, thus saving money. Boy, was I wrong. I went crazy back then and I'm grateful I've learned so much since. I still go crazy at times but when it comes to food, I really need to set limits. ~ One good thing that came out of this is that I got a flashbak of myself (one who I don't wish to be aka "a hoarder"), room for my new useable stockpile and how can I forget--room for meat w/ these HTs I just found! :o) We''ve had only ground turkey tubes and glad to be able to get something different and know I have room for them.

Yeah, that is a hard lesson to learn. I was getting all these razors and stuff. Then I asked my hubby if he will use them. No he only uses the electric. HA! Oh well, razors are easy to give away.

I did one BTFE deal today as I found my lost GM coupon. I was so rushed with my three little crazies, I forgot I had enough coupons for 2 deals. May have to go back later. For anyone with little kids, I found the long sticks of laffy taffy 5 for $1. I like to get them something small when we go to the store, .20 piece of candy is right up my alley.

Sandwich size Ziplocs are $1.77. Get 10 & use 5 of the $1.25/2 cpns from the insert. $17.70 - $6.25 cpns - $5 BTFE = $6.45 or about $.65 a pkg. Plus a little tax.

El Paso taco shells - If anyone eats a lot of crispy tacos (we do about 1X a week) - those shells are ringing up $1; with the $5 BTFE, they come out to 50 cents a pkg. Don't know if there are any cpns for these, but cheap enough for me. Got the 8 Cheerios & then 2 of these Taco Shells to get to "10" for the BTFE.

or if you got the $1/2 MQ like I did (they were free inserts so can't complain. :D) = $17.70 - $5 Qs - $5 CAT= $7.70 or .77 each
though, you mentioned containers. Don't know the price of them but there wre also $1.50/2 in the same insert of 5/15 SS HTHs

In case other's were looking into the Ziploc, I have these prices:

$1.77 for either the 50 ct. Sand, 30 ct Sand XL, and 50 ct. Snack
$2.67 for either the Freezer or Storage bags--look for the Bonus boxes (24 ct Freezer qt, 18 ct Freezer gallon, 50 ct storage qt, and 24 storage gallon)

Didn't see any bonus boxes on the smaller bags at my store, mabye yours do. :cool:

Oh, found MQs for the Ortega shells!!!

$.50/2 on 4/17 SS2, AND $1 in 6/26 SS - :drool: .50 free "Oprahs" for those AC/CAT or FREE after tomorrow.

In case anyone else opens up a box of stale shells, I pop mine into the toaster oven for a few minutes and they crisp up very nicely. I leave them there just long enough for them to get golden brown (I do this whether they're stale or not) and they come out super good.

HEB stuff - not as great as brand name stuff - ??
 

Some time back (maybe 1 1/2 years ago), I ended up visiting w/some HEB mgrs while they were visiting my HEB here. I asked why HEB was pushing their HEB brands so much - some brand items I was able to get when store opened were no longer even stocked. The HEB Mgr (from Hqs in S.A.) stated they are able to get much better deals this way & offer products for less than brand-name products. Am sure their profits are "better" and that's what all these businesses look at - $$$'s.

He did tell me if I ever find the product less in quality than the name-brand product - I can return it to C/S. I have never done that - but in case any of you do get stale taco shells - or whatever - take it back to C/S - you should have no problem.

Returns take a bunch of time, so I rarely take anything back - anywhere. Most of the time I have gotten rid of the receipt anyway. Just wanted you all to know - you can return HEB stuff if it does not live up to your expectation.
